My name is Andrey and i recently started to play tennis again after about 4-5 year break since a finished college. One of my really good friends motivated me to get back into it and now i wish i would have never quit. Join me on the journey of getting back into the beautiful game of tennis and hopefully soon i will be able to play some ATP level tournaments and see if i can become good enough to get 1 ATP point. Along the way, i will post videos of me playing tennis and some tutorials so make sure to subscribe!
I don't know if you will even see this but if you do, you 100% need to try Tecnifibre razor soft in the Gravity. I know it's on the expensive end but trust me
Thanks for uploading! You are inspiring me as I aim to play ITF futures. It’s not easy but seeing your videos motivates me. You have a great backhand too!
good to see your video again!!! seems like youve changed your racket! is it 2023 head gravity pro? also can i ask your string setup and did you customize your racket?
I have an old school forehand and I hit with an eastern/ semi western grip, and hit the ball flat with medium topspin. Thank you for posting this video my friend.
my problem is next when the strings are fresh and more stiff i play more with nadal forehand when strings got looser and get plow trough i play with with more flat rublev style .pff.
I usually don’t watch the hit after the reviews in such videos but the hitting here in such tricky conditions was excellent. Good review too and I agree with the sentiments
Hey, glad you're back. Would you know how the gravity pro compares to Wilson blade. I am a baseliner with Wilson blade/rpm blast and struggle with keeping the ball in sometimes. Would it be worth it to try the gravity pro or does it have even more power?
Okay, im gonna tell you hard truth playing both of these rackets. Wilson Blade IMO is the most overrated racket on the market. It has no distinct things that it does well. It does nothing well. Now, playing with RPM blast in 2024 you are compromising yourself. Try Gravity Pro, ditch RPM Blast for Poly Tour Rev or Pro. String at 53lbs same tension both ways.
@@andreysmirnov7461 Thanks for the response. How does the rpm blast compromise me? And by switching to the gravity pro with those string mentioned, what should I expect to be different. Just to note, I usually string racket at 47, sometimes a bit less.
So nice to see you back in action, Andrey! If memory serves, you were hitting with the Yonex VCore Pro racquet the last time you were making videos, but that looks like the Gravity Pro. Did you make a switch to that racquet after testing it out?
I always always always recommend good footwork -- nothing is MORE IMPORTNAT than loading your shot because a loaded body is like a moving train. You will be so physically solid.
Congrats on the new stick! I am actually experimenting with bunch of different strings at the moment but so far Yonex Poly Tour Pro 125mm both ways is my favorite at 52lbs. Given unique characteristics of the Gravity Pro i think its doing its best with softer polys
@@andreysmirnov7461 thanks. Did you also change your backhand? You used to have a low high (like Hewitt and Albanian) and now you do closer to a unit turn.
What’s your string and tension on the Gravity Pro. Also, good to see you back! I was strolling through my timeline and had to do a double take because you’ve been M.I. to the damm A lol
Love that you're back! Hopefully to stay! Once you get back into the groove I hope you get involved with more youtube tennis channels! @winners-only is a great channel in Texas - obviously way below your level though.
Love seeing you blast every shot like you always do especially those devastating flat serves. You got any tips for hitting such flat serves? I have such a hard time square up the racket face at the moment of contact resulting in a weak slice serve.
Man its hard to give advice without seeing you serve. But also this is me without Gym or anything so i have at least 30% more speed in me. I would say think about your body as a spring and try to utilize every muscle including legs in a sequence. It will take a lot of practice to get the timing right
