Great showcase! Haven't seen Octobriana yet, but I thought maybe Space Riders by Alexis Ziritt might be added to the lot.

Jim, there's a lot of 60's counterculture paperbacks that messed with typography and layout like that "Yellow Submarine." If I remember right a lot of them were influenced by Quentin Fiore, and his work with Marhsall McLuhan, specifically "The Medium is the Massage." A cool one in that style, if you can find it cheap, is "Rock and Other Four Letter Words" by J.Marks and Linda Eastman. Neither is in color, though.

Jim, check out Harlin Quist Books in the 70's; they published psychedelic children's books, some in that mass market paperback size. Heavy Metal's Nicole Claveloux did some amazing work for them, a couple in comics format.

I have "Go, Go, Go, Grabote!" by Claveloux.... Can confirm: it is trippy AF.

I just received my Yellow Submarine paperback. Man, that thing is pretty cool! My dad flipped out. Had to own it being a gigantic Beatle fan and a fan of Beatle period pieces.

Would love a Charles Burns vid from you guys. The artist edition of Black Hole is incredible. So cool to see that stuff in that large format.

A book that belongs on your table is Caza"s Kris Kool, which recently was reprinted in Europe. Here's some art: contourmagazine.com/2011/12/04/kris-kool-1970-philip-cazas-psychedelic-graphic-novel/

I grew up saying caddy-corner in Kentucky. I've heard people say kitty-corner, too.
