8:01 great idea!!, put the lifeboats in the lowest part of the ship, in case something goes wrong and the ship start sinking no one will survive to tell the tale
9:00 This sort of tracker unit is in use today. I've seen them used on ferries to move the trailers on and off the ship without needing a full sized truck.
Ho hum. At age 75, all I can say is that fancy dreams about transportation methods look terrific but they are just dreams.I bet that 50 years from now, what we will have will just be modified versions of what we have now.
I dunno: cars today do not look like modified versions of 50 year old cars, and they have certainly improved technologically. Similarly cars 50 years ago were different from cars 100 years ago. I agree that the future will not look like what we think it will, just as today is different from what they predicted 50 years back. But we will certainly see advances in technology that we barely know about today.
Tend to agree. All the new safety gear in cars today compared to say, 1980…yet we are still stuck at the same speed limits we had in the 1960’s. Other than stylist design choices and different entertainment options, they are basically the same.
Concepts we haven't seen before 8:58 Oh no, it's the truck from Fast and Furious: Spy Racers back a year plus ago. 10:00 What's this? Looks like any number of similar designs on Star Citizen.
@@sethrichardson8344 I definitely got the joke - that’s one of my favorite movies! Chris Tucker was hilarious and the concept ship does remind me of that… doesn’t change my statement.
Can't say I like the loss of jobs many of these will cause if they happen. Hopefully they will create new ones. That being said, I like EV's, for specific purposes anyway. Would like to see a worse case/best case range estimate on them in the future. IE, ideal conditions, average driving, this car will get 256 miles of range. For extremely poor conditions, max weight capacity, mountain driving, it will get 118 miles of range. As many have discovered, including myself, there is a big difference.
Not to mention the damage to the environment creating the inputs to make and manufacture these things as well as end of life waste. Don't forget the antiquated electrical grid lol stupid politicians
Everyone always worries about loss of jobs as industries change and new technology develops, but they rarely consider all of the new jobs that will be created to support said industries and tech. It's not hopefully they will create new ones, it's guaranteed :)
@@TorQueMoD Time will tell, as often the jobs replaced are generally lower levels of education. Sometimes well paying ones. Sometimes entry level. I lean towards it being a net loss on the jobs side. With robots making robots. When simple but labor-intensive jobs are replaced, those that are replaced often lack the education/know how to work in other fields. I don't doubt new jobs will be created. But enough to fill the gap they are creating? And can they be filled by the people they are replacing? I am a retired truck driver. I see the self driving trucks already in use on our roads. I do not doubt they are efficient and effective and will only get better. And I'll be honest. I will refuse delivery if one comes to where I am now. The same for drones etc. The same for restaurants that have robots in them, I simply won't get food from them. I am not going to go and protest them, just not going to support them either. Those that want to are welcome to do so.
This junk will be stupid expensive no matter how advanced we get and the cost will not come down. I'm in the automotive industry. EV's are definitely a pos.
You're hysterical if you think the human race will advance technologically, we are spiritual beings and our purpose isn't to grow technologically it's to grow spiritually , spiritual advancement far surpasses the things of this temporal world and YOU and the masses are soon to find that out... If you stop and think about why Hollywood and government is trying to push transhumanism you might wake up to the fact that they are in a hurry to implement NWO (the great reset) by 2030 because they know a solar flare is coming soon ! A solar flare that will literally and permanently shut down every piece of technology we have. Keep watching kiddo, it's coming- wink wink
I like the air ship one hopfully that will become real in the future as well as some of these other ones. They are making the right move in powering these with green energy hopfully we will get more tech vids about cars and stuff soon I really like these.
It is strongly suspected that humans, most life from earth, can survive in the upper atmosphere of Venus, easily enough due to the temperature and air pressure above the clouds being in our goldilocks zone. I have been speculating about what permanent solar powered craft might look like...
Latest technology proves, jet flying with faster than sound speed is possible. Having a car with not visible air barriers, like it would have doors, is next century dream. Later we wish to find you in a GTA pool swimming and kayaking with fish.
I drive my own truck I don't want the computer to drive my car or to speak for me. It's nice to drive a vehicle that doesn't get shut off when the electric shuts down as for the batteries they cost more than the vehicle.
I can completely understand wanting to cut our carbon footprint on this planet but what I don't understand is why we have to make every vehicle driverless so that way cab drivers and limo drivers and truck drivers and people that that rely on that for their pay they have to be out of work I don't understand why this is happening and besides I don't care how safe somebody says that their computer controlled car is I think I'd much rather have a physical person there a real human being behind the wheel
First : it can't carry weight Second: Romania? Says it all Third: batteries are poison in making and disposal Forth: same as third Lost interest and left
New and innovative technogical applied applications shouldn't mean ugly. In the twenty- first century, surely we can make things small enough to not have to make things look bulky.
Some of the concepts could work if used in specialized applications. Like a monorail at Disney world. The Russian modules could comute around a them park. In specialized road. But I think it's doughtfule. Due to specialized roads construction needed.
ILOVE TECH ZONE. ITS MAKES. ME HAPPY. IM ALBERTO ALVERIO MONDILLA JR OF YRENE STREET MIRAMONTE,, LUKBAN PROVINCE OF QUEZON PHILIPPINES GOD BLESS TECH ZONE
You obviously lack imagination... How do you think we have all the technology we currently have - concepts that became reality. I'm sure you enjoy your computer, mobile phone, car - ALL CONCEPTS made in to reality! Move with the times or be left behind!
Batteries are too heavy to fly, Battery operated vehicles or BOV’s aren’t feasible just yet, portable vehicles are a great a great experiment though, it’s the thought that counts!
What - they already have fully electric airplanes! Google that shit - I want to say AIRBUS successfully started this back in 2010... so I'm sure tech has improved over the last 12 years.
I don't. I'm retired. I never do anything fast as possible anymore, well except riding a mountain bike downhill at potentially catastrophic speed 😆 (edit for grammar)
Charging station are /remain in short supply , and has been these station have be noted of our of service and faulur o these station being open for use to pay rent
Making concepts is a large waste of money. Especially ones that will never get made in a million years. That is why Tesla is eating all their lunches and moving on to their dinners next.
The only thing that impressed me was the first one. Almost everything else looked clunky and junky. Surely they can do better. I’ve been waiting 85 years for small sleek individual flying cars. What happened?
i have a hybrid and it cost me 10k. I don't feel like I'm riding the crest of the wave in technology....this channel is purely for the "jee whizz feel good" factor without actually being very advanced in ideas or revolutionary.
