I do coconut oil pulling and it is wonderful. Helps with oral thrush . Baking soda and sea salt also work great for thrush. Apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp with water drank twice daily helps keep candida overgrowth at bay.
So will all of oregano natural antibiotic antifungal anti-viral actually works for thrush I'm in the process of using it now. Try to go natural don't like big Pharma
I had a white tongue with scallops/ridges or what looked like bite mark scars on my tongue. I had it for a long time but nobody knew what it was, dentists never said a word and I went twice a yr for cleaning, until I went to one where the hygienist said "What is wrong with your tongue?" She didnt know either and made me do a cancer screening(no cancer found), so still no answers. I ended up beginning Oil pulling and swishing with coconut oil and it all went away, 2 yrs later I was diagnosed Hashimotos, and find out this is a symptom of it. I just assumed it was Candida overgrowth and nothing more when the coconut oil made it go away (along with the scallop ridges/bite marks) When I went back to the dentist my gum receding from previous had greatly improved and the dentist herself came over to ask what I had been doing and I told them Coconut Oil. It cleared up my tongue and made my gums healthier.
It was pretty immediate for me. To be honest I probably did it about one time a day, but I dont think more will hurt. Let me know if it worked for you too! Dont put a lot in your mouth as its hard to hold it in, and then swish it around like mouthwash, but its more like method of "Oil Pulling" if you dont know what that is, you try to hold it in as long as you can and pull it between your teeth, etc, just google it if you have never heard of Oil pulling, it also helps your gums, and whitens your teeth too. Spit it out when done into a napkin or paper towel, not in the sink as it can clog.
Adding activated charcoal helps pull more toxins and also helps whiten teeth! Glad it worked for you! I have tmj, so oil pulling can be rather painful, unfortunately

Salt doesn’t do anything internally. All it does is get rid of the white on the tongue but nothing to your stomach where the Candida is. Therefore it will only come back
I have done oil pulling. It seems to work well. Gets all the gunk in between your teeth. Just please DO NOT FLUSH or throw it down your drains..always spit into a tissue or directly into the garbage pail. It will save your, plumbing!
I learned so much! I have been oil pulling for over a year....my gums and teeth are always praised when i go for a cleaning. Thank you for this very detailed run down of what this could mean. Ever since Covid I suffer from GERD and especially during Covid my tongue has never been so white almost gray. Now on occasion I get this white tongue. I am 32 years old. It comes with hurting throat I cough a lot and it feels like gerd too. The latest trigger is that I ate peanut butter which was outside in a humid environment for months... I live in florida and I think this gave me white tongue as well as an allergic reaction because my tongue felt bigger and the pappilla reduced in size because the tongue was enlarged a bit. I'm dealing with it still. Doing salt water gargles and oregano oil gargles, colloidal silver and bone broth. Wish me luck. I also make an appointment with the dentist.
Unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover it . My lab work at the naturopathic dr was 1600, Taking 2 to 4 TBS coconut oil helps and oil of oregano . Cut out sugar !

i have done oil pulling with good results. i have aplastic anaemia. my doctors are concerned about virus , fungus and bacteria ..i refused the prescription antifungals and antibacterials and did oil pulling mornings and evenings.
I don't do really any perscriptions either, but I have heard the antiungals are not bad for short periods of time to get things under control, then diet and some of the other natural remides

Dear Dr Axe, I love your programs and watch them regularly. I have had such a bad digestive system since 2005 that I am under constant and regular treatments. I even visited CTM in Beijing. That's how extreme my condition is. I agree with the last four remedies you mentioned at the end to heal the white tongue , but about many things we have to be careful specially for many people like me who can be extremely allergic to most tropical fruits as they can increase heat inside your body based on Chinese medicine including coconut, papaya, banana, mango.......😲
I love oil pulling with coconut oil.. My teeth always seem whiter when I oil pull regularly. And, colloidal silver is a staple in my supplement cabinet.. it knocks out a sore throat within a day or two.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out best thing for thrush try Letza Fast Remedy Lessons ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my buddy got great success with it.
When I had thrush after taking some antibiotics, the medicine they gave me didn’t help. But I rinsed my mouth out constantly with pure water and lemon essential oil. Then I inundated my body with probiotics. And within a few days it went away.
I have utilized oil pulling and can say that it is very effective for reducing the depth of pockets when measured by my periodontist, however I am not as consistent as I should be when using it; also I have to use less than two tablespoons or I would gag.

Push thru it and continue unless your allergic. I had gum pain but continued and then it cleared after a week or so. My mouth felt healthy after. I think if you have pain/irritation it may be pulling pathogens from your mouth. Die off effect. Things get worst before they get better.
I'm passing to take a round of antibiotics do to a staph infection but I have suffered from depression in the past is there anything that I can do to keep my body healthy while doing the round of antibiotics sincerely thank you for all your help
I have a whitish/grey tongue and I went to the dentist and she said my mouth seemed dry, like its not producing a lot of saliva and told me to swish around olive oil and drink Camille tea for up to 2 weeks to see if my dry mouth and tongue appearance went back to its natural pink color. Has anyone tried that? Also I have been on 2 different antibiotics from February 10 up until my last pill taken the 17th of March. Could that have contributed to my dry mouth/tongue issue? My daughter and I have been struggling about my white and cracked tongue almost for two month. I have fissured tongue with pain but, my daughter has slight mid-line crack. I got sinus surgery 5 month ago and my daughter got sinus surgery 4month ago and after I had hard time to digest food.

Definitely oil of oregano help oral thrush and strangely enough I was taking it as a mouth rinse deluded four times a day and I would leave it under my tongue for about 10 minutes. I was having lung issues with a lot of mucus problems prior 2 taking oil of oregano it is a natural antibiotic anti-inflammatory antifungal now I don't have to use my inhaler anymore because the oil of oregano open my lungs up and I don't need my inhaler anymore oil of oregano works really well check it out👍👍👍👍👍✌✌
Would you not suggest taking doctor prescribed antibiotics to kill the Candida overgrowth? I was just prescribe them for 14 days three times a day. It seems very extreme. But maybe My gut has been struggling its own extreme conditions..? I would love it I'm sure other people would love it if you commented on typical Dr. prescriptions and the risk and rewards from falling through taking those commonly recommended pharmaceuticals.... 😬🙏🏼☺️

I have seen specialist and my dentist, he said he didn't think it was candida and they said my tounge is normal but I always have a coat looks yellow at the back of my tounge, I can use a scraper to clear it in the middle but if I leave it for a day or so its back as you know we would consume food. What would be the best thing to try or test I would need to take Any help would be most welcomed
I have a bit of that from depression. It's bit better today so light now. I had much nerves stress, and when I had water finally it wasn't enough go replace what I lost. I had 1 bottle a day with apple cider vinegar and lots honey, so a combo of all this, my insides not well and oral hygiene not best, and tummy not well, cuz of all this for had bit bad milk so that created the tounge thing and tummy, not eating well at right times. This lady on RU-vid said that it's nasty. She rather use organic wheat grass.
maureen bennett I’ve heard you mix baking soda with enough lemon juice to make a paste, and then brush your tongue with it. I assume you don’t want to swallow too much but if you have to brush really far back, I’m sure it won’t do damage.
