I agree I wore weaves for 3 years and my hair thinned out so much I couldn’t even put it in a pony tail. Every since I been wearing wigs my hair has grown down to my butt. Super happy cause I haven’t seen it that long since elementary school. Thanks for the tips!

Shrinkage doesn't determine why your hair isnt growing. Shrinkage is a GOOD thing believe it or not. It tells you that your hair and curls are in good condition. All you have to do is stretch your curls and you can clearly see how much your hair really has grown.

I do two strand flat twist as a protective style with no weave. My hair has grown a lot. I do not use weave/wigs at all.

I remember when I cut my ends off, my hair flourished and grew quite a lot, but then I developed dermatitis and the growth halted; my hair has barely grown in 8 years. I don't completely blame the dermatitis though, I blame lack of consistency, not moisturizing enough, not trimming, etc--basically all of the mistakes a natural can make lol.

I big chopped in 2014 ,and it's grown obviously but it's been the same length for about 2-3 years now :/ n I'm honestly ready to give up but my last resort is to moisturize n wear wigs/weaves !!

That WILL work! trust me... I’m natural and I don’t use heat - so I only need ti clip my ends twice. Also too much sugar causes shedding - many woman don’t know that.

Yes! I know the struggle! I will do a video talking about it and what I did to treat it! Thank you for suggesting this video.
