Guy signs up for bass lessons. First lesson the instructor teaches him how to hold his bass the right way. Takes some time but they eventually get there. Second lesson they progress to play the E-note. The guy has some difficulties here too, but manages to successfully play three consecutive full notes by the end of the lesson. Third lesson, the bassist never shows up. Fourth, fifth, sixth lesson still a no show. Instructor figures he got bored and stopped playing. Skip six months, instructor sees the man on the street and says "Hey, I guess you didn't like the bass that much" to which the guy responds "Yea sorry I skipped the lessons, I got in a band and we've been touring for the past six months non-stop!"
