11-year-old prodigy Judit Polgar breaks the Anti-Benoni in 22 moves

Featured is the sharp chess game between Jean-Luc Costa and 11-year-old prodigy Judit Polgar from the 1987 Biel Chess Tournament. The young Polgar, likely underrated at 2355, invites her opponent into a sharp Benoni, but Costa declines with 3.Nf3. As Costa's king knight drifts towards the queenside, watch how Polgar's quick coordination on one sensitive kingside square breaks White's position.

I love Judith polgar. She is one of the greatest players of all time, male or female, she's just incredible. Super ruthless attacking chess, my favorite. Reminds me a bit of some of my other favorites like tal, morphy, naka, shirov, etc.

To be quite honest, I never realized that Judit Polgar is actually slightly younger than me. I remember thinking that she was slightly past her time clear back in the ICC days (watched her play a bit and give lessons on that platform). We would have both been still in our 20s back then. I'm not quite sure what made me think she was significantly older than that.

Jerry, it's "whom you would prefer to be." "Who" is subject, whom" is object. Who/he and whom/him. You would not say, "I prefer to be he [sic]". "Whom do you call? I call him." "Who called? He called." "Whom would you prefer to be? I'd prefer to be him." It's not pseudo-sophisticate, and you can say "whom" lightly, just slur it a bit if you're afraid to sound snobby, for being correct. Some try to be "sophisticated" and get it backwards, like "Talking about whom [sic] was mistaken."
@echoes6092
