About run length you talked about around 2:00:00 TLDR: Use Quick-mode if you think the run time is too long (or to make shorter video) The long run time was something that came up a lot from players after D/C rank were release and run length started to go over 1h mark. I original envision Rogue: Genesia as a longer and longer run type of game as the player get used to the system, but seeing a lot of player disliking it pushed me to discuss the issue with the community. And there was 2 very different vision, some really liked the very long run time, especially as you can save/load anytime you want between stage, but other disliked it, especially as losing a long run late in could be frustrating. This is why Quick-mode was added in version 0.9.1, it allow players to choose if they prefer long run or short run. Quick-mode should half the length of a run, and even allow the player to skip zone at the half-mark if they think they are strong enough. Quick-mode don't lock any form of content, and is made to be the same difficulty as normal run. This is the best solution I've found to make sure everyone can enjoy the game as their prefers without making their experience too different About the number scaling, this is a totally intended design direction of the game (contrary to a lot of game that sort of end here because a lack of control) Rogue: Genesia take a lot from idle games (challenge original come from idle game), and this is a way to paying tribute to that. Even with all the crazy scaling, there is (hardmode and non hardmode in a lesser maner) challenges that take a lot of though and precise decision making to be complete where you can barely make it. The "main" game (non-challenge) is intentionally made "easy" to be as accessible as possible for as much players
Love to see more people taking an interest in this game. Btw in case you didn’t realize 2nd path damage was running slow because you were just walking around with the ballista. It needs to be used either standing still or dashing.
for the love of god pls banish that attraction card i watrched it block a heroic slot in your cards for way to long also carzy video =) ps: if u want to check if u can combine a wapon befor u pic it up u can always press "i" to look at the card and its combinations ectr. edit: i like long videos along with about 30 min videos it depends on the situation i often watch some funy cuted vids while eating then 30 - 40 min are perfect when i play or kinda just chill around without much focus needed on my game or what i do i like these long videos becouse of the same reason that u described also Skurry Vods best for sleeping =) i like your voice too tho
Rank F is a joke in the game. Then each rank has a "make or break" point. Difficulty spikes, you can't get a build running, and then... You get busted and can move on next rank, with plenty of new tools you have unlocked. I love the game loop. I like less that runs end up lasting VERY long.
It's definitely frustrating watching you play, read things too fast not understanding it even though it is fairly clearly written and then just skipping it or screwing it coz you didn't read properly
If the game is fun to watch, I would prefer if it was long. But, if you're just full clearing the screen for 1 hour that's not really fun to watch imo. I've seen other youtubers just skip segments of full clearing until we see the final build and death.
This game imo is becoming too boring/rpgish for its own good , this is the typical kind of game that the more updates it gets the less you want to grind them , it was fun getting all achievements in the past , but now with 200 secrets per update and runs that take hours , meh
