Local authorities in Catamayo claim that Ignacio Aguilar is 115 years old and could be the oldest man on earth. Their submission to the Guinness Book of Records is still pending certification, but longevity isn't rare in this area also known as the Valley of Eternal Youth.

There was a 112 year old WW2 Veteran (born 1906) Fighting at Pearl Harbor 1941 passed away in 2018. His words to the world was ”do the things that makes you happy, turn a smile through the day no matter what and God will guide you”
