Anyone know the velocity variation between this and a 16”? I’m looking at a LWRC REPR right now and I have a sandman k/nomad L to throw on it. But man does that 12.5 look sexy

It’s about a 200 fps difference between a 12.5” and 16.5”. I’ve got a video comparing both of mine. YT won’t let me paste a link lol

@@DeadAirSilencers Serious question. I have a couple of your cans. I’ve always looked at you guys as being one of the best suppressor manufacturers around but theirs been a lot of heat going around on the Sierra 5 and was wanting to know from you guys is that issue fixed it or was it just blown way out of proportion. I really want a Sierra 5 for a dedicated 5.56 can because most of my rifles I already have are set up for Keymo and I really enjoy the other suppressors I have from you guys.

Would a 12.5 6.5 cm be better suited?

It's about twist rate and bullet weight. 308 and creedmore are comparable

I bet the Nomad would sound nice on a 12.5 308 but being a stainless can instead of cobalt 6 I just wonder about excessive wear.

The shortest id run a 5.56 is 12.5, a 12.5 308 sounds brutal. On a positive note, my Wolfman tames that 5.56 pretty well.

I have a PWS 11.85" piston driven upper in 5.56 that shoots like a dream. And I hit steel at 300 with a red dot and magnifier consistently. The surefire RC2 tames it pretty well even at that length barrel.
