Thank you for this wonderful interview. I related so much to Alexa's story. I also started drinking very young, and sobriety never lasted because of my self loathing that never goes away. I am now approaching 59, and I am about a week sober, yet again. I want a chance at a happy life before it's too late. The last 10 years have been such a waste, and a complete blur.

I relate to Alexa. I am 71 days sober and age 58. I have been weight lifting for years and eating healthy. This was the next step. I am addicted to a healthy lifestyle.

Alexa you are such a badass. I’m like a 60 year old version of you. It just took me a lot longer to let alcohol fade away. I live in Costa Rica and have experienced some challenges where I needed to use any and all inner and outer resources. You are such an inspiration.

What a wonderful genuine interview. So many truths. It always comes down to making the decision. No “I should quit drinking” but “I WILL quit drinking” and truly making the decision…no looking back…no more justifications. ❤👍
