out of all the games I played, there were exactly 0 that I didnt finish until 1821. The endgame is the most fun part, where you get to map paint without really having to micro or anything.
Just become big and than let the game run in the background if it's to tedious. otherwise your first game is always the best way to get it as you are usually bad at the game then. but thats to late for you.
I almost got it once, actually... I reached 1800 without actually getting bored. I was playing Brandenburg and was having fun punching colonies out of spain, really. I paused, saved. But then next day an update came and corrupted the save. (I cried, I almost owned all south America, just needed to take the bottom tip of la plata)
@@manoflowmoralvalue1560 If you're speaking English and you use a pronunciation from another language it's a mispronunciation. There's a reason why English doesn't use that pronunciation lol.
@@sergiusko4327 this^ i suggest going for the mughals if you want the av. Or go back a couple of versions to the absolutism patch and do it with 97.5% admin efficiency. I did it that way and it is really a breeze.
Correction: you HAVE to exploit the institution mechanics to prevent absolutism if you're going to pull this off. The only reason Eat your greens isn't harder than True heir of Timur is because you can't use exploits to make True heir easier
@@exantiuse497 now i think yes, because with Austria Update you can change your capital as Tranxosiana to Europe and convert to trade companies to all the Indian Region
@@exantiuse497 I did it by 1607 a few patches ago so it’s doable but the exploit certainly would make it much easier. I was running a pretty bad deficit after the I scrambled to get the last few provinces in the last 20 years
I think that the high percentage for The three mountains achivement comes from a glitch some patches ago that could be abused in ironman where you could glitch a nation bigger with custom nations
PhantomLordMXVI and because it is considered the hardest challenge it is very popular. There many guides on youtube and more people trx to achieve it than other difficult achievments.
it might be be lower then the eat your greens and true heir of timur simply cause they were added recently while the three mountains has been out for a very long time now
@@archdukefranzferdinand567 It has. It was there because of a run by someone in EUIII who developed the idea in the first place (the guy who did it originally ended up with a job at Paradox). It's not as hard as when he did it initially. Then it was indisputably the hardest world conquest run. I think there are several harder nations to get a WC with now, including some that aren't even OPMs.
I really enjoyed listening to you. I also like your accent and your hat. And the way you yse your hands to describe things. Haha. Funnily, this is more of a ASMR video to me than a game guide hahaha xD
Three Mountains has a relatively high completion rate because of a few things. First off, it doesn’t have an early time limit, so there are a lot more mechanics to take advantage of than some others. Second, it’s the most well known of the hard ones, so it’s always gonna get more people going for it as that ultimate test of skill. Third, combine those two reasons: any strategies and exploits that make getting this achievement easier are going to be discovered pretty quickly and people are going to cheese it for the bragging rights
The Tangu achievement is actually pretty easy since they have OP missions and none of the holders of Burmese culture land are tributaries of Ming... Ming use to have some of that land so it was much harder, now not so bad
The hardest I would say is the ones based on RNG or those closely related, the time based ones. Even though you start as a small nation. As soon as you get out of that initial struggle with a small economy and a small army, then you can always blob with what ever nation you play as, which means that it's just a matter of time until you will have your achievement.
2:09 The First Toungoo Empire isn't super hard, it's easier than it was. The Dharma DLC gave Taungu its own missions, and it put Tibet in a different culture group, so it's no longer required for the achievement. You don't need to conquer a ton of land.
the most entertaining game is when you are weak. the game gets so boring when you are so strong that you can't even rival anyone or when you are strong and have strong allies that nobody can ever declare war on you. i remeber the game i probably enjoyed the most was when i was a noob and played as granada. i struggled so much to not to get eaten and somehow ended up as a opm in central africa until spain finally annexed me in the mid 1700's. spain was such a bitch in that game. all they did was hating me from the beginning to the end.
True Heir of Timurids is really the achievement that gave me a lot of trouble. If the requirement is changed to end game, then the difficulty would be between easy and medium. But 1550 is the time you have no absolutism and admin efficiency, which really s*cks. I also remember all my neighbours are mad at me when making a failed attempt to do this achievement. For example, Nagaur had -400 opinion on me due to that rapid expansion and there's no way for me to get rid of the coalition with tons of AE.
I would have said that it was easier than eat your greens as if you rush renaissance admin ideas (the first two) then go for diplo ideas you can shred countries very quickly, not to mention you can use the reduced warscore cost to vassalise larger nations towards the end as you dont have to core everything just own it. Also try to run an improve relations advisor when you can would make it much easier. Early also make sure you ally as many powers in india as you can to lower the ae they gain. The mistake I made in my game was that Jaunpur should be one of the first nations you break alliance with once you are strong enough to due to them holding a large amount of your missions requirements.
But that's 40% of the easy achievements, right? I have about the same number of hours and the only one of these 12 I've done is One faith (and that was on an earlier patch when convertibg was much easier)
@@exantiuse497 i have 700 hours online and around 200 hours offline, I got also 40% of the achievements. The hardest one I got was one faith. I've played 7 8 hours daily (quarantine rules) and finally did it with HRE after 3 weeks of trying. Other one was saladins legacy, whenever I tried, either mamelukes or ottomans became so op. I was seeing moving world map and hearing cannon shots everytime I was trying to sleep lol
No. It's pretty common for gamers. Not just Eu4. When you re too op, it's hard to continue any game. That s why many people don't play late game in most strategy games, as they produce a snowball effect. Same is not a problem in other Single player games as the Devs can always create a super hard Boss in endgame.
Quick uptade: not even humanist ideas can save you from the religious unity. I fullfilled the humanist ideas i just have 650 dev and holy fuck my religious unity is %36
Empire of Mann isn't hard. You just need to release Mann without switching to play as it and develop Renaissance to one of its provinces so you get an almost permanent -100% liberty desire modifier for Mann. Then start annexing it and feed it all of your provinces one by one while the annexation progresses. After annexation is completed you need to release it again and switch to play as Mann. Then just declare intependence war, annex your tiny overlord and you have British Isles under your control as Mann around 1500. The rest is easy.
Sunset Invasion, Empire of Mann, The Third Way was pretty easy for me. In sunset invasion it was hard to understand, how you should play as Aztec at the start. Empire of Mann was super ez, just go for pirate republic and go for endless war with all of the world. And the third way i've actually done twice: 1st was Oman into Persia and 2nd Mzab into Andalusia.
In all honesty one of the hardest achievements for me is the Grand coalition achievement. Seriously, that button and requirements are so picking that even if other coalitions form by the ai, you can’t join them because you require them to have 50 aggressive expansion against you just so you can join one, and the ai hardly gets into coalitions to begin with this achievement is never easy to get.
I once did it by: Getting my ass kicked by Poland and offering HRE land. It worked, they turned into a coalition target and i joined too (I was Empreror Brandenburg)
Great list but I don't agree with The First Taungoo Empire. Just take a lot of loans and defeat your enemies. You don't need to continue after 1500 anyway. Also, True Heir of Timur is kind of easier than other ones in the list. You can always have 10-15 vassals, keep them in fight, f.k your own economy until you get the achievement. Delete the save later.
Some of these change at VH. Third Way actually has an insanely difficult opening as any of the three options and you need to stabilise in time to set up for your certain bankruptcy. Edit: Outside of that, the late game achievements seem a bit overrated. WC as a minor is not that hard. Norway is actually pretty busted if you know what you're doing. I'd say the one where you need to destroy QQ within 30 years or so should be on it. Luck of the Irish, Basileus, Re-Reconquista, Saladin's Legacy and Albania or Iberia have to deal with some challenging starts unless you're either very patient or doing some cheesy strats.
By third one you doesnt need to start as kale, you can also conquest that all than create subject give him all this provices, annex him and than create him 1 more time but this one time play as him, i think it should work
True Heir Of Timur not so hard, because you only need to conquer India, but not core. So it's not too hard, when you have core for all India with religious idea or mughals mission
I remember having few of the most rare achievements in CK2 with 0,05% and suddenly at the Steam Summer sale 2019 they rose to 1% or more. I have no idea what happened
@@TurgsEpicRU-vidChannel Even if more people would own the game the achievements were far too hard for people who yet started the game and the completion rate grew in some cases around x20 in 1-2 months.
True Heir of Timur is boring achievement cuz you need restart and restart if Timurids starts war or their ruler won't die so you lose circa 10 years and next 10 when your ruler die so you get regency. But if everything goes good it's easy achiev just by build country only for this like build army on merces and don't care explode after conquer India.
Raja of the Rajput Reich isn't that hard you have two massive advantages, one the nearby Delhi Sirhind war can be exploited for you to get cores on all of that, and two you can snake your way to Baluchistan and form Mughals, after which its gg and you can easily eat India before 1600 giving you a good 200 years to get to and take Germany. its probably the easiet "hard" achievement out there, since tag switching is allowed and you are close to the strongest tag in the game
Yeah, pretty doable even on VH. You didn't mention the nearby gold mine. You can easily get it by sniping someone that country (Malwa or Mewar I think) attacks and vassalising for a defensive war. Then you have a rich trade node for midgame and it's a cakewalk from there.
Empire of man is really easy if u set up man properly and weaken England. I am pretty stronk player, but personally gothic invasion or an achievement like shashasha would be way harder than the empire of man.
Yesterday i did the rereconquista and it was pain in the ass for me. I was very frustated after i helped marocco to nearly eat all of north africa so i have a strong friend and than they started allying my rival aragon which held 50percent of iberia and italy. So aragon was allied to france and marocco.
I think there should be an achievement for genociding all Turks as Serbia. EDIT: I also got another idea! Achievement Srbija do Tokija, which is an ultra-nationalist Serbian quote meaning Serbia to Tokyo and the achievement being to have Tokyo and convert it to Orthodox as Serbia
There is, just unlisted coz half of the video had not matching sound to video because of laggs ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UWrF1OvlyT0.html
In french we call that country Neejer(and Neejeria). But whatever, I would never play that crap in Eu4 and I supported Hrvatska during the World cup, not the neejer team.
@@Duc359 Take normandy and pale during Maine war. normandy gives free claims on Brittany to use any time later. Having land in ireland constantly take irish minors and take 3 provinces from Scotland to fabricate on norway. from this point declare on Denmark, take northern Scandinavia to fabricate in muscovy. Fighting in a cycle England/Denmark and subjects/Muscovy or novgorod or Livonian Order is enough to finish on time without coalition and loans. England may cause troubles, but in many cases not more than 1 war with england is needed. Depending on alliance web viable option is also fighting Aragon for one border province, releasing Catalonia and massive reconquest, taking naples, some Balkan wars... No CB Circassia is a bad option, do it if you want to fight horde's cavalry, suffer with sunni horde land and deal with increased coring cost. Of course curia controller helps a lot Ideas? Admin first, second diplomatic for lower province cost. Useful allies: Lithuania, independent or under union, Papal State, Savoy, possibly Spain, but even not allied they will not care about Agressive expansion, sometimes Ottomans during conquest progress will ally too
I have over 3K hours in EU4- Unless you a serious hunter of achievements its not worth play Ironman mode. Even if you do EVERYTHING right you won't improve simply given 'lucky' means 10% to 1+ minimum to all modifiers in game. Lucky nations never drop below +1 Stability- Despite being a 'historical' game, historical events that are bad will never Trigger. Some events should never be based on chance, Janissary Decadence should always trigger if Otto picks up Janissary event. If you want to play a real game, Just play CK2- Its what EU4 should have been.
@@cathulionetharn5139 yea, to add on though you really need to use outside pressures to get any internal conflict in some nations. People really underestimate Espionage ideas but in Ironman it can be soooo helpful debasing historical nations when you are too weak to WAR them..
If Kale isn't number 1 I'm gonna be mad edit: pff TTM is easily done and True Heir is hard but many people including me have done it on VH first try. I don't know of anyone that has done the Kale one on VH without the delay age or form horde exploits.
One religion might not be that hard as Austria. Just destroy centers of reformations, and conquer all non catholic nations in Europe (think England), let the AI in Portugal, Spain and France help you out
1) Norwegian wood is easy, revolutionage and ignoring coring distances make it trivial, basically no difference to Saxony, orissa and some others 2) Raja is not so hard as Nagaur can form extremely overpowered Rajputana (I suppose so) or at least very strong Hindustan. T least it is far easier than Gothic invasion with the same goal, but starting as Theodoro is much worse than Nagaur 3) Aztec is easy for any intermediate player. Noot so much conquering with extremely strong income and overpowered religion. really on the list? Is it a joke? 4) Toungue is not the worst in Asia, burmese culture is not so huge and at some point Ming will ptotect you 5) third way is not so difficult as Omani, even easier with Mzab IF managed to form Andalusia 6) Mann can be abused by granting all britain before releasing 7) Ryukyu is easy with shogunate OTOH One faith should be in top 3 with current patch and vassals not converting, basically needs rebels converting land. Or even number one with colonial nations not converting land and blocking conversion by using colonist to develop I agree Dahomey to be on the list Achievements lacking here: Rise of the white sheep - very luck dependent, many restarts needed, because QQ usually early takes half of Ajam or whole Shirvan. And other nations must help with partition, but there are no strong nations around willing to do so. And time is very very limited. I finished it on 11th attempt, while Heir of Timur on 4th with Afghan start Avar Khaganate (conquer whole Panonia with Avaria) Maybe Basque, maybe Candar But DEFINITELY SHOULD BE ON THE LIST: GREAT PERM horror, go for it if you like restarting hundreds of times or want to fight for independence with NOONE supporting you outnumbered by overlord at least 8 times
The hard thing about wc is less doing it and more actually doing all the micro management for such a long time I actually stopped my first 3 wc runs just because of boredom
without super human focus sunset invansion is not very hard. in my game italy was founded allied with netherlands, france, spain and ottomans wtf this human focus ı understand but this is too much lisbon madrid and london, but the rest did not come and budhist strike back is maybe hard and komneoni empire.
