"Don't expect perfection. Aim for progression." subtle and powerful. Appreciate you.

Leaving the bed unmade allowed the moisture to dry up reducing the dust mites in the bed. If you don't want to spend all day staring at a messy bed cleaning experts recommend waiting at least an hour before you make it.

Here's a comment for the algorithm, and also an exercise of my active listening. 01 Making your bed is a really simple task, and it really does feel like a daily task complete. I like to gamify my life, and similar to how there are daily activities that earn you points in a game, making my bed has become a daily activity which is an early opportunity to score some points! 02 Meal prepping just makes my life easier. I'm a student, so I don't have a lot of time or money, to the point I have to politely decline going out to eat with friends. Meal prepping just makes everything easier for me, in that I just need to make 14 meals and 7 snacks for the week. I also like to play with my ingredients a bit more for dinner. But my main criteria always come back to nutrition. And it's easier for me, since I'm a vegetarian. 03 I do this as well, keeping a full water bottle! I carry around a 1L bottle, drinking it completely it between 2 and 3 times per day. 04 Unfortunately as a grad student, I never really know which task will be my frog until it comes face to face with me. In that case, I just use the Eisenhower Matrix. I assign my task a level of difficulty and a level of urgency on scales of 0 to 10, turn the coordinates into a vector value, and calculate the magnitude. The higher the magnitude, the higher the priority. If they have the same magnitude, I prioritize urgency over difficulty. 05 I keep a calendar for everything. I am a little bit neurotic, so I tend to schedule as many hours as I can, and treat it as law. And as I advance in my studies and automate away more tasks, I'm rewarding myself by saying no to new tasks and taking more time to do whatever I want. 06 Deep work is more or less required as a student. I tell everyone to not contact me for a period of time, and I find a neutral place to work, if I don't have to be on site for the tasks at hand. 07 My phone has a focus mode on it. If yours does, I recommend activating it. I also really like the Forest app, which is a timer that grows cute little trees and blocks distracting sites and apps. You can get it for your phone and browser, and you can use the points to grow new kinds of trees and/or donate the points for planting real trees. 08 I write almost everything down, physically and electronically. It's how I survive my day. I took it a step further when I was in undergrad and wrote what I called an action log, writing down every action I took in a day, trying to be as deliberate as possible, and marking down the actions I did intentionally vs just on autopilot. It worked well for a long time, and I've started keeping one again since I started school again. 09 Right now I do weekly and monthly resets, but I think I need to get better at daily resets. It will definitely make life less stressful. 10 I was really bad at this when I was younger. It just became something I do regularly now because I miss my family. And I think it will become even more important when I have a family of my own, beyond my parents and siblings. 11 I'm a voracious reader. But after the sun goes down, I never read anything with academics in mind, because I will start thinking intensely, and I will often have a burst of ideas, and I won't be able to sleep on time. So the evenings are for pleasure reading only. But then again, sometimes I get a creative idea and I begin to write as well. This one is both a blessing and a curse in my experience. 12 Unfortunately I still have a tendency to beat myself up about missing anything I do. I could do all of them perfectly, but if I falter on 9, like I often do, I call myself all kinds of awful names. In my case, the ones I need the most work on are most definitely 9, 11, and 12.

Is that a mini Kim I see? How sweet. Also, that frog quote is usually attributed to Mark Twain. I don't know if he originated it, but either way it predates Brian Tracy.

These are fantastic takes , I was really hopeful of my investments this year, but all my plans have been disoriented, I've been studying the market crashes and I realized some investors made millions from the recent 2008 recession and I was wondering if such success rate could be achieved in this present market. Any recommendations?
@Jennnparker

Yes , If you go long against the market you'd make such success.

Buy a good cross section of an economy, Build a diverse portfolio that keeps you motivated, Speed up the process where possible, reinvest. After my first million I realized that when a stock starts booming chances of you finding out means you are quite late to the party, for this I make sure my F.A handles that, ever grateful to Trisha Jean Webb. it's like turning your notifications to earn more millions.

What I'm doing besides some of your points is to track my daily habits in an app. When I do my daily french lesson - check! When I read or listen to a book for 15 minutes, check! When I work out, check! ✅✅✅

I've heard about "do your most challenging task" recommendation before. Its pragmatically dogshit. So many other good ways to do that task instead. Guys just recycling old crap.
