Hi there everyone. Processed carbohydrates and refined sugars are the leading causes of obesity, blood sugar issues and sickness in the human body. In this video, I've highlighted some of the most common signs that you're eating too much sugar, or processed carbohydrates/starches in your diet. If you're experiencing these issues, you may find that simply cutting out these foods and replacing them with meats, fish, eggs and steamed veggies and berries changes your whole life, and your ability to ENJOY your life. Over the years I once consumed crazy amounts of carbs in an average day, but as soon as I cut back and started eating whole foods, my entire life changed. I can think clearer, I feel more energetic, I sleep better and the list goes on and on. I sincerely hope this video motivates you to make the shift and get off the sugar! 💚
All carbohydrates are just groups of sugar molecules. There is no reason to try to distinguish between carbs from fruits, vegetables, or refined foods → it's all the same after you digest it. You can create severe health problems by overeating sugar from "whole foods" like vegetables and fruits. The source of the carbs is irrelevant. All that matters is whether or not your total carbohydrate intake for the day is too high or not. The more you remove sugar (any carb) from your diet, the more healthy benefits you will experience. In general, staying under 20g carbs per day will result in the reversal of metabolic syndrome, or the prevention of metabolic health problems. Don't get distracted by what kind of carbs you are eating → just focus on staying under 20g carbs per day.
@@Hertz2laugh Actually vegetables and fruits contain phytonutrients that help to buffer sugars. Whilst I agree there's no harm in cutting them out completely, especially if you have a broken metabolism... It's not always necessary. Particularly vegetables, which the soluble fiber gets fermented in the gut, forming numerous healing compounds and neurotransmitters, B-vitamins etc.. So there is a need to distinguish between them, because not all carbs are created equally. Refined carbohydrates spike blood sugars much higher and cause a lot more damage, in comparison to a cup of raspberries where you are getting antioxidants in large quantities and soluble fiber. 💚
Thanks for the sage advice.Apart from the healthy eating that you outlined to control blood sugar,I also think keeping your weight down by exercising is also beneficial to overall health.I am 61 now and for over 30 years I gave up sweets and chocolates.I have an occasional biscuit with my tea.My weight has remained constant over the years.

@@ChristiColonel but you’re still gonna get carbs and so on and sugar because you eat meat dairy and eggs and other animal products and so you’re still gonna harm yourself even if you go to a gym it would help but if you still eat that stuff, it’s just gonna cause cancer look up Arnold Schwarzenegger. So go plant based foods.
Excellent video. Best bits for me = 3:00 to 4,18. 5:34 to 6,10 (chronic fatigue). 10:45 to14,07 (end) = 1/8 T-spoon Celtic sea salt and lemon juice in A.M. water. Apple cider vinegar capsules. Vegetable fibre. Ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, fenugreek and garlic = all anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory. B vitamins esp B1 (in nutritional yeast and sunflower seeds) calms the nervous system, provides steady energy and reduces cravings. Electrolytes (mg, K and Ca) in cruciferous salad (olive oil helps absorption), berberine, HOMA IR test.
Great information and education. I always ate 2 eggs for breakfast and felt great. Now I'm in assisted living and they are not interested in providing healthy foods Medicare could save alot of money if physicians cared about this diet, instead of fancy meds and fixing broken hearts and organ systems.
So sorry they're providing unhealthy food, it must be a large assisted living not an actual home that provides assisted living right? I want to open up my own assisted living in a 4 bedroom home soon. I will also provide healthy food among other things.
I had most of these symptoms. I was eating anything and drinking beer and my sleep was screwed up. I felt tired all the time and had brain fog. My a1c was thru the roof. After 3 months on a keto diet, my a1c is almost normal and the other symptoms have disappeared. I recommend it to everyone!
I had a few of these signs for years 😏but then changed what I eat , no alcohol , cuts sugar etcetcetc , refined rubbish , I feel like iv been reborn 😀, I educate my self and at 61 want to feel as good as possible going forward in my life, feel a bit anger that it took so long to see the truth , but glad I’m on the right path ☺️
I don't know who you are but I just found your channel and I'm about to go through all your videos because you seem really cool I know how hard it is to get your health under control and start eating completely different after you've done that your whole life the information is definitely out there but they definitely make it something you have to look for
Trying to have a healthy diet is the best way, however these days it’s very expensive to buy quality foods ingredients. Thank you for your great information ❤
Not true. Eating whole foods is definitely less expensive than processed foods. You can buy potatoes, carrots, all type of vegetables and whole grains. Beans, etc cheap and feed a lot of people. Don't need to eat animal products but if you want to, you can still find good sales on some meat. Eat less meat in your meals. My bill is so much lower since eating whole foods.
We buy a lot of fruits and vegetables, however because of cost of living these days we have to go to lower end cheaper supermarkets. Every now and then that we can afford we go to more expensive higher end supermarket and you can clearly see the difference in the quality taste and even shelf life of the fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately this is the case where we live in the UK ❤
I had most, if not all of these symptoms. Until just a few weeks ago, I was addicted to Pepsi and sugary snacks. I was crashing during the day and feeling terrible as soon as I woke up. Tried to start diets many, many, MANY times over the past ten years, but I hadn’t had very much success cutting out my addictions completely. In the past two years I’ve also been suffering from pretty severe gout flares. The thing that really changed this time is my doctor started me on Phentermine, and within the day my sugar cravings almost completely disappeared. I’m eating oatmeal for breakfast, plenty of water, and taking glucomannan fiber supplements. I get some protein from chicken, beans, and peanut butter, and a bit of sugar from fresh fruits. If you are having a similar problem, I highly recommend seeing your doctor about trying it. My first dose was like flipping a light switch and suddenly being flooded with the willpower and energy to make these changes. My mood has turned 180 degrees, I’m up all day doing the household chores I’d been letting pile up, I’m actually looking forward to working out and focusing on it, and I’ve not bought anything sweet on impulse for the past two weeks. 10 pounds down, just another 80 to go. 🤞
Thank you, Ryan:). You give us all the information we need to be healthy ~it’s up to us to make the change. I appreciate the time you put into ur videos to educate us👍👍😊🤗🩷🙏
Wow...I was wondering why I had chronic sinus infection. It makes so much sense now. I thought it was dryness. I will need to cut back on rice especially potato chips. Probably need to get my kids started as well... cereal is a quick breakfast but knowing now... I rather make them eat something else. I really need to rethink what my kids should eat for breakfast and when they are at school.
Skin tags, acid reflux, headaches, vascular issues such as CVD, ED, and spider veins, brown spots, HBP, autoimmune disorders, mental issues, such as depression, anxiety, and even bipolar and schizophrenia are now being treated with a ketogenic diet (at least, in part). ALL chronic disease is linked to poor metabolic health/insulin resistance and the resulting inflammation. Many have reversed all symptoms of whatever they were having problems with by eating fewer carbs less often. And, even if not fully reversed, they can be improved greatly.
It's quite daunting. I know I need a rethink re: diet. I'm not vegetarian (I eat salmon and tuna) but I don't like meat. I make chillis and bologneses with Quorn. I know it's processed but better than nothing. Actually, I guess vegetable chillis etc works. Great video. Do you have a book? I'd buy it if you released one.
I gave up sugar completely (I was an ice cream -aholic..BIG TIME)….. and my joints hurt and I couldn’t move my neck sideways. I gave up eating ice cream, which I ate a pint a day, and I guess the sugars had a lot to do with my inflammation and I’m absolutely fine now. (by the way, forgot to tell you I also gained 25 pounds when I was eating the ice cream…. So far I have lost 20 pounds.)
I can assure everyone this tips help. I reduced my carbs and used above mentioned advices since about 5 years, if I would not have done that- I would be a diabetic . You have responsibility for your own help, If you don't want an misable life, do something against it. I do low carb diet ~ 50 g/d and thats a good way to stay healthy.

@@Allan-bl7pda factor i see is that hard-working Pinoys lack enough sleep and that can also be due to the poor transport system there. Super traffic and no discipline at all among the drivers and the result is chaotic. One person spends about so many hours of commute that they'd arrive home tired and just want to go to sleep and neglects to eat or ang iba gusto mang kumain e wala namang makain na masustansya dahil sa mahal ng bilihin and they would juat have a bowl of "l😊ucky me" noodles just to have something to eat. Sobrang kawawa talaga ang working class sa Pinas.
Thank you this information brings up a lot of personal issues trying to adapt to high carb low fat diets… but also low carb. Too little carbs also give me heart palpitations, poor sleep and loss of electrolytes with excessive urination. Even tried carnivore with all the hacks. My body seems so messed up : /
I have all these symptoms, more or less. However I eat next to nothing with added sugar and very little processed foods, no alcohol. I do eat a lot of fruit though,I mean a lot, an exceptional amount. Could that be it?
Yes, too much fruit can also cause you to have these symptoms, as many are high in sugar. If you switch to fruits that have less sugar and more soluble fiber, it may help. Berries are much healthier than an apple for example. 💚
@georgestewart1983 your liver sometimes makes it's own sugar that can lead to you craving it even if you're not eating it, me I find green tea to be good
Absolutely. When you consume lots of sugar it can deplete your electrolytes and cause palpitations. High blood sugar also causes sodium retension, which raises the blood pressure and affects the heart as well. 💚
The problem is I love everything I cannot eat and dislike most of the things I can eat. My favourite breakfast is a Belgian waffle with maple syrup and topped with berries (either blueberries, strawberries or raspberries) or sometimes sliced banana.
Himalayan comes from an ancient dried up seabed, untouched by modern pollutants. Celtic is fresh sea water salt dried out in France. With have a different combination of minerals. I use both. 💚

I’ve actually gone Carnivore, only recently to see if it helps my osteoarthritis, some health experts believe that osteoarthritis is an autoimmune disorder, rather than a wear and tear disorder.
I’ve been going through this for years since 2019 I have been sick as well having multiple infections and I was also exposed to mold which caused me to crave carbs and sugar constantly smh it caused so much weight gain with a lot of other chronic health issues I still crave carbs and sugar constantly smh I don’t know how to stop eating this stuff I feel miserable I want to start eating healthy but now my body is so intolerant to a lot of foods I don’t even know where to begin 😢😢😢🤦🏽♀️ I can’t even eat fruit because I’m intolerant the chronic stress and depression is what causes me to eat these bad foods 🤦🏽♀️
I quit eating vegetables, sugar, and all gluten. Most important, NO SEED OIL! Just red meat, eggs, Chicken, butter and animal fat. I lost 25 lbs and returned to my Highschool weight. No more low energy, and I sleep at night. I drink LMNT salt with my water and exercise weekly.
@@andrewthacker114 The carbohydrates themselves in the cereal quickly turn into blood sugar. So best to read the carbohydrates on the label instead for a better reading. 💚
It's sad I am going through most of these. I can't afford a proper meal so I settle for sweets and sugar. Green leave are a bit cheap around me. Guess I should start feeding on them like a goat. 🤷
May I recommend eating more eggs, fairly inexpensive, very nutritious, filling and will help to control your blood sugar. Making you less hungry. All the best. 💚
I quit eating all plants and went to a carnivore diet and have never felt better in my life I'll never go back to eating plants probably ever carbohydrates are the worst thing possible to eat they're unnecessary in your diet whatsoever
Realistically they aren't as bad as sugary drinks. But they do cause insulin resistance and make you CRAVE more carbs and sugar. The zero sodas also have lots of additives and artificial sweeteners which are bad for the gut. Limit them, and don't make a routine of drinking them. As I did in the past. 💚
Bryan Johnson is actually reversing his age, he has some fantastic recipes. Too many supplements though, I would get more from food sources. Those gullibles, falling for expensive fad diets like the Necrovore, will make the medical profession very happy in a decade or 2! Animal ag has even scared people into eating animal bones so they can get rid of and make more money from more waste products, it's like eating finger nails and your hair for nail and hair health 😅
