I fully agree with your arguments om why running Di2 wires to the shift levers. I am in the process of procuring components for a new bike build and I will follow your example.

Thanks for the video, I am building a new frame up with di2 12 speed Ultegra. I am going semi wireless as there's no way to run the cable to front shifter. I was unaware of the updating problem when I bought the groupset. Cheers.
