when my mom passed away I stayed at her house and cared for her beloved kitty Missy. the morning after I awoke to find that Missy had brought all her toys; mice, plastic wiffle balls with bells and all else to my bed and placed them all around me. Needless to say I took care of that sweetie for the rest of her life.

Not long ago, my doctors did not believe I was going to recover from an illness. My ginger tomcat did not leave my side and wanted to be present during any examinations. Thankfully my doctor understood and became used to his curiosity. He has gone now, but I am still here....dear Ginger.

I have a 3 year old female cat name Spooky and a 6 year male Dog name Skipper (tiny Morkie). Every night before I go to bed I call them by name, Come on Spooky, come on Skipper it's bedtime. And in less than a minute they both jump on my bed. Lay down, get comfortable, cuddle up next to me and away to la, la, land we go all 3 of us. I love it, can't sleep without them. When I have to get up to pee she always pees in her litter box while I'm doing my thing. Then back to bed.

I have a severe, chronic pain disease. When the pain is really out of hand and I’m lying down to try and get it under control, my cat will come to me, curl up on my chest directly over my heart, and purr her heart out. It really helps.

Where I live, no pets were on the lease. Guess what? I have a cat . The landlord and I made an agreement where I would pay a little bit more every month. I can't imagine my life without him. ❤

I remember when I was a kid my favorite cat Freddy would always comfort me when I'd cry.

Thank you for a super video. For most of my 76 years I've been owned by at least one cat, usually more. Cats are perfect. They are wonderful companions, they entertain, spread happiness, yet keep one grounded. One has to deserve their love! 😊

They: * can mimic the actions of their humans * can act dramatic * need to be taken care of * love to play * have feelings just like humans * can love/hate cuddles * are naturally curious * can be taught different things * get into mischief * can sometimes test yout limits * can be very smart * can be needy/clingy * throw tantrums * want to sleep with you * need to be fed regularly * want to eat your food too * want/love to be the center of attention * can get excited to see you come home * can get excited when going to see Grandma/Grandpa * can get excited to go to the park * can be stubborn and not listen * can love/hate going to the Dr's (vet) * have accidents * need to be potty trained * go to daycare * can love/hate baths * wake you in the middle of the night * run to you when scared * don't always look before crossing the road ... just like a toddler. Did I miss anything? lol My only kids are my feline furbabies. :-)

I broke my hip a month ago, and my tuxedo started sleeping next to me in my bed and lying on my chest, purring. I swear that I healed a lot faster because of her. 😊

My old girl didn't even seem to like me at times, but if I wasn't in my room after a certain time she would stand at the top of the stairs and meow until I went to bed. But she always stayed just out of petting distance. I found her under my parents' house and she was with me for 17 years, but she was always a bit cool towards me.

I love my cats, they make me feel safe and relaxed. One of my cats sleeps with me, and if she’s not with me I can’t sleep. Recently I’ve been suffering from ear ache and my lovely cat strokes my face and cuddles into me. Her strokes are so comforting. Xx

FTC (Frank The Cat) is a senior at 13 yo. and a indoor cat. He really has never played too much and sleeps about 22 hours a day. Love the videos.

I have done TNR for 20 years. I currently have 12 plus a boarder living with me. I lost three from cancer. Very close together. One died in my arms.They were all edlerly cats. All rescues. I felt as if my heart had been torn from me. I cannot beginlive without cats. I love all animals, but cats are on the top of my list. 🐱

If you don't care for and show that you care about your cat(s), it is unlikely that you will reap the benefits described in the video. Not only would you be unworthy and undeserving, but you won't convey the signals that most cats require to become loving, trusting, and lovable. It might seem obvious, but I have known people who provide just the basics needs to their cats (and slip up even on those responsibilities) and are surprised that their cats are aloof, distant, and cold in nature. We have two lovely senior cats who are only a bit shy and cautious around strangers, but they are peaceful and mild-mannered to everyone they meet. They do not hiss, growl, swipe, or bite--ever. (Having fights with your sibling doesn't count, if you don't make a habit of it.)

My days are generally pretty crap. But every day I come home from work, my little angel is at the door waiting for me. And when I pick her up she rubs her whisker puffs (cheeks) on my face and all the bad from the day just evaporates.

My cats have the opposite effect for sleep. They either are pouncing on me or knocking stuff over. 😂😂😂

They can give you allergies. As a kid I used to cuddle my cat a lot and my eye swelled up. The doctor said "don't bury your face in her fur".

We recently had to start living in our suv, with the cat. He has become quite the gypsy kitty and seems to be enjoying it quite a bit. He has all the things he needs/enjoys, including both his favorite people. (litter pan is a cake pan with locking lid) Hopefully this is a temporary situation, but I am incredibly glad he seems to be enjoying it.

I had awful paralyzing nightmares for a long time. I always saw and heard weird things to the point I was scared to fall asleep. But once I got my first cat, it disappeared. It's like my cats chased away the demons.

My first kitty was such a sweetie. I picked her up as a tiny kitty out of the middle of a busy 6 lane street in Dallas. Sometimes I would wake up with her curled up in a ball on my chest or stretched out across my neck!!🤣😂🤣😂 When she disappeared at the age of around 10, I cried for weeks.😪 They are very special companions. ❤

You are right! I am a dog fan, However I experienced with a cat, that I wondered, that I got many many friends through having a cat. I would be happy to have many cats. I loved dogs and horses and I liked cats and feeded them whereever I met some who needed food. However now I also love love cats, because I adopted one. Please if you have cats which you are not able to care for, bring them to me, please.

My fur baby brought me a bird yesterday i told him thank you i love you too, but i had to pick up a dead bird and was in my feels as i took it to the trash poor birdie i know it had a family

Thank you very much! I also liked the video about indoor toys very much. We have many toys, including a remote controlled mouse, which he likes a lot. His most favourite ones are very simple ones he selected by himself, such as a rubber elastic band as well as one of these cable clips (which come with new small electronical equipment). Would love our cats to sleep with us, however they climb onto the dressing table and push everything off onto the floor 😂 they are also very good at getting behind the draws and pushing them open to steal things.

You r Kitten know when u are sad,and kitten feel you r Energie. They know when you are Pregnat too. Theysleep on u r stomach and feel u have a life in ther. I m not an Cat Expert. I only know it.They know when it come Rain. Beacouse they can feel it. And they Always come in. Cats dont like to be weat. Even if they like fresh water and have a shower.( Not ALL Cats like take a shower. it must be free way.) Citten is a Gift to us, from God. 😻

My cat is a ragdoll and she was a rescue cat that wasn't socialised properly when she was young. She will reluctantly let you pick her up for about a minute, does not sit on your lap but will sit next to you and sleeps on my bed. She is a fussy eater and hate a spoiled litter tray.

That said, I've ALWAYS loved cats, ever since I was a child / little girl. 😊❤ As an adult, ( I'll be 45 years old in December, should God spares my life ), and my love for cats have now become an *obsession* . I have lived with and loved cats most of my life. In my teens, our house cat always used to sleep on (and in) my bed. I used to leave the bedroom window open at night so she could go outside when she wanted. And my current feline companion is my garage cat. She practically lives in my workshop and loves to find a spot to sleep in the garage on cold nights during winter ( and any time really). She has a daily cleaned litter tray, water and snacks at hand and is quite OK with being locked in at night. Need I say more?

They keep pests under control except when they bring them from outside in and then let them go and fail to catch them again lol. Good thing I have a whole gang of cats. That mouse doesn't stand a chance.

When my husband died 2 1/2 ago and my female baby stayed by my side everynight and would pet me like mommy please stop crying I don't know what to do.......we have finally gotten past this and we are much happier than we have ever been!

I had cats since I was a child, and for me a life without cats is no life at all. I even can't sleep if they are not in bed with me. When I had to find a new appartment, so many landlords told me: No animals. Okay, sir, I will look for another one. I searched for almost a year to take my darling with me, it was unthinkable for me to give him away.

So have i ive had 12 in my house before i have only got one now. I just dont like when she goes out all day then comes back at night.

Two nights there were fireworks going off and one of our 5 cats was scared and decided to huddle down next to me also when I have a bad day our cats start crying out for attention it's so cute

My cats purr is so quiet that I can't hear it unless my ears on him. He also has been mistreated in his life. So he gets aggressive. He was a stray so idk his history but PTSD signs are there. Sometimes he's so quick to lash out there are no prior indications. Having said this in spite of his anxieties he's silly makes us laugh & is quite sweet. I would love snuggle w/ him but he doesn't want to. We've had him almost 2 yrs. We load him w/ attention talking, petting, playing, as he's highly interactive. But still he gets aggressive even though we adore & love him as he loves us. I cant afford expensive cat puzzles, cat trees, & a cat behaviorist. Any suggestions?

Great Video, I’ve had cats all my life and my current cat a 14 Year old Tabby sleeps with me at night and I get licked on face and Arm and love it. Past few years I been adopting Senior Cats from the shelters as there often overlooked. Senior Cats have so much love to give and they have there own personalities. You should make a video to push everyone to adopt Senior Cats. They are really Special and they need love and give it back 10 fold.

My Son has always been around dogs & cats since he was born & never had a reaction to them. Until he was about 17 when he developed a severe allergy to dogs. My Daughter-in-law was always around cats since she was born. She now has a major allergy to cats. Between the two of them they can’t be near cats or dogs. Sadly for them both me & my Daughter have 2 cats each so when My Son & Daughter-in-law visit either of us she gets really bad allergic reactions. She has to take her allergy pills before they arrive. Similarly when My Son & Daughter-in-law go to visit her Sister who has a dog, my Son has to pop a pill before they get there.

I would love to have cats again, but I work 70h weeks and live in a single room apartment... So I couldn't give them any meaningful kind of life.. So I'm catless at the moment, I do miss them around.. My last 2 cats 2 brothers, both died of cancer about 10 years ago.. Then I had to move from the music studio I lived in, to a single room apartment... So I never got cats again because they wouldn't have a good life with me ... I can't lock a cat in my apartment all day, the roads around my apartment are way to busy to make a food place outside and leave them out for the day.. I do miss my furry companions dearly though...

I have lung and brain cancer and a wheck heart and having to go for demo radiation treatment that has bad side effects can be very stressful most of the time l don’t even want to go If it was not for my two cats that are there for me with cuddles when l need them most l don’t know what ld do pets are the best Theropy no mater if it’s a cat dog or gold fish
