I met chef John in 2006 at Alinea and he was one of the few sous chefs that was actually nice to the stages. Great guy. I’m glad to see he has achieved all the success he deserves.
The crazy thing about Chicago is there are so many great places that being a local I am still learning of new spots. Looking forward to checking some of these out.
I absolutely loved the pace and flow of this new style. Well done! I really enjoyed the balance of storytelling and cinematography. It wasn't too rushed, nor did I feel like anything was unnecessary. What a joy. I hope the channel and S3 Fam continues to grow and expand exponentially, so y'all can keep doing what you love and earn some well deserved funds, to fuel more journey's, to then share more experiences with us. Hee hee. THANK YOU!
Awh THANK YOU!! What an awesome and absolute treat of a comment, thank you! Good feedback, appreciate it. Hope to continue to grow too and share more and more, we love making these movies :) thanks for the continued support, we appreciate it 🙏☺️☺️
I have ALWAYS loved the finest foods and I have a fantastic palate (so Im told) and now Im on disability so this is KILLING me. Cant afford this anymore. Anyhow if youre in the burbs, which is more affordable check out Sankyu in Mt. Prospect for Japanese - Sushi Tsuki in Schaumburg for of course sushi - Ni Hao in Elmhurst for Chinese - Mangia Napoli in Elmhurst for Italian - U Gazdy in Wood Dale for Polish and lastly Elio Pizza on Fire in Addison for a more traditional Italian. I could go on but if and when you want to go to the Chicago burbs for EXCELLENT food please try ANY of these! :)
My goal is to definitely bring fine dining, and more people to the south side! Without, getting rid of the culture I grew up with, and pushing everyone out! I want to really elevate the neighborhoods!
Hate to be that guy but it seems like the longer the name, the more expensive it’ll be and unnecessary… everything does look great but the random ingredients whipped up together is kinda over the top but then again it’s Michelin for ya Shouldn’t of gone so far west, it’s dead over there in the western part of the west loop, there’s only 50 restaurants people pass by just to get to yours I’ve come to realize Michelin restaurants are more for the experience than the food itself since everyone’s still hungry afterwards
No disrespect to the chefs and staff at a place like Kasama, but IDK why anyone would wait that long for food. I'm sure it's awesome, but Chicago has great food of every kind everywhere you look, like all big cities.
I’ve never been to Kasama and the baked goods are legendary, BUT….theres no way I wait in line foe food ANYWHERE. Way too many great places to eat here to waste your life waiting for 1? 2 hours to eat.
Nice! Been to all but Elsky, but will now try and make it. I have to say, QXY was not great and the burger at the Loyalist was overrated (big ups to Au Cheval).
was surprised at the QXY choice as well, however, QXY is not bad by any means. There are more authentic dumpling shops just nearby. But maybe they couldn’t get a seat at other shops. They fill up very quick.
