What you said about the passion for something not necessarily meaning you should do it for your job is 10000% accurate. I went to school for Digital Media because I wanted to create video games for a living (since I loved them). Once I got into the field...I learned very quickly that it would kill my passion for playing them. Working 80 hours a week, getting paid little, and having no time in my life was a complete buzzkill. It completely sucked the joy and life out of me. Best thing I did was not pursue that field fully.

I personally love sports, heavy metal, and fantasy... several years ago I went to an Atlanta Braves game, a Brandon Sanderson signing, and a metal concert all in the same weekend.

The adaptation that I want the most is a video game

Just gonna put in my two cents, emotional allomancy should be signaled with a music/sound cue, as most people know music is not in the world so it would be a better language to use. IDK just a thought. Edit: imma add two more cents (so four idk) I wanna clarify I would love mental pushing/pulling to be a leitmotif (though it could be a bit too overbearing, so maybe a certain instrument?) cause when there is the cool speech scene with breeze it would make the music in that scene amazing, and with pulses it should be a heartbeat, lastly save the blue eyes for tin. Anyways I think we all have a way we would love to see mistborn, but it's a long time off and he will probably come up with some cool thing. idk just some thoughts.

It was funny how he was talking about Stormlight possibly being animated, because when i was reading it, my exact thoughts were 'This would make for an amazing anime'.

I like a clade of spren. All different but with a common origin.

I'd suggest "sparkle" as the collective noun for spren. It has a nice alliteration, and makes reference to how spren make the world more colorful. It does have the side effect of maybe making spren appear more shiny than perhaps was originally intended, though, so I don't know for sure.

1:25:25 Tangent, but there was a chapter in Watership Down that I thought did the interrupted story really well by delaying the interruption. Somewhere just past halfway in the book, Dandelion (one of the rabbits) is storytelling about their mythical hero El-ahrairah, and he finishes the main story but gets interrupted during the denouement. It leaves the reader with curiosity for the few minor details Dandelion didn't wrap up, but at the same time it isn't unsatisfying, because he got through all the main points. And it's satisfying in a real-world sense because it still feels like an interruption - the emergency doesn't conveniently wait for Dandelion to finish, which would also feel like cheating on the author's part.

Bridge 4 salute looks more like Wonder Woman's salute than Black Panther's. Wouldn't mind having a third movie do it anyway.

Jim Butcher is a great example of the cliffhanger transition. He writes his chapters and sends them to beta readers individually, so his books have a serial feel to reading them. Most recent book, Peace Talks, is a great example of this.

I call myself an extroverted introvert for the same reason. I don't shy away from being in a crowd and can tend to take a leadership role, but it zaps me of energy and I have to recharge by myself. I approve of using Civ VI to do that. 😂😂
