I’d love to see what a CB radio commercial would look like today !! I’m almost positive I could describe it perfectly but RU-vid would probably delete me once it was brought to their attention 🤣. Great video 👍

Nice job! I want into the only radio shack in my state here recently. Asked where the cb stuff was....the kid looked at me with a complete blank face. Wishful thinking on my part.

The "spokesperson" for the Radio Shack commercials, is none other than the late Charles Napier, known for playing tough guys. One of them happened to be in The Blues Brothers. "𝑌𝑜𝑢'𝑟𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑓𝑢𝑛𝑛𝑦 𝑡𝑟𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑒𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑛 𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒏𝒐 𝒇****** 𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒉" 😆😆😆

I always liked Charles Napier , that's exactly why I made sure to use his commercials in this video . The first time I saw him was in the show BJ and the Bear as the character Hammer , and also in the movie Citizens Band as the truck driver Chrome Angel . I always thought he was highly underrated .

The announcer for the hy gains commercial sounded like Casey kasem aka, shaggy from Scooby Doo.

I have an old Lafayette Comstat 23 here that is still original , and in good working condition that I hook up and talk on every once and awhile ... it's one of my favorite radios in my collection . I've had it in a couple videos .

This is like Deja Vu. Didn't you post this recently? I did like the Lafayette warranty. For as long as you own your car. What if the car outlasted the company. Who would cover it? LOL

I did post this before , but were people that complained that the intro was too long , and so on . So I edited it , and uploaded it . But I did put Re-edited in it's title .

I hadn't seen any in my search for CB radio commercials . But maybe they didn't think that they needed to , since their radios seemed to sell themselves ... along with the company's reputation .
