@@GlebAlexandrov Can you make a video how to export pbr textures like :- Albedo, Normal, metallic, roughness, base colour and much more from nodes so model can be used in any software. Plz sir reply with this
Yeah and for other operating systems I think it's - Command+Shift+4 for Mac and - Shift + Prt Scrn (+Ctrl if you want to copy it to clipboard instead of saving) for most most distros like Linux Mint.
So far I have always opened several pictures on the second screen and enlarged the important details. This is really a great option, I already love it. Many thanks for the review
Quick note: You don't even need to make a screenshot of your designed text, just copy the text as an object in your graphics editor (e.g. Inkscape or as rasterized object in Photoshop) and paste it in PureRef - simple as that! ;-) Thanks for your very helpful videos Gleb, keep it up!
Глеб, твои видео великолепны! После просмотра всегда хочется пробовать то, о чем ты говоришь, хоть я и не визуализатор) и без глубокого знания языка всё понятно всегда. Спасибо за позитив и вдохновение!
Every time you post You're naturally older than you were the previous time But still keep that youthful charm (Just a wierd way of saying that it's awesome that you're still involved in the blender community and have kept that awesome asthetic you've had from the start.) On a different note: more lighting tutorials please! 😁
I love pureRef, this 2 feature should be added. 1. Annotations support (line drawing on top of everything) 2. Arrow indication like node based software Nuke
You can suggest those features on their website/forum they will read and answer your requests within a reasonable timespan and maybe those features will be available with their next update!
PS you missed one thing i find handy. You an set hotkey for pre-set opacity values. So you can press a single key-combo and it will go to your preset. Thats better than CTRL +/-. Its in the keylist at the bottom near dark, light and glass mode. I hope they do a update soon, ive asked some nice adds, like link reconnecting and such. Another thing high on my list is command line tool. Than i could make an addon for blender so i could setup boards from with Blender. SO for instance create a bunch of renders and than automatically create a canvas... How cool would that be :)
What i also find nice is that you can embed images, but also later undo that. I dont know what happens though if you do that when file is moved to different system. It would be nice if it somehow extracted the images than.
PS one way you make your export way smaller is to optimize the canvas just before you export. Otherwise your exporting useless empty pixels. I hope they also will add multiple canvas support and presets / custom input dimensions. Now changing canvas size is a bit weird.
You can right-click > Images > Selection > Open source (Ctrl Shift O). If it's not an embedded image, it will open the folder of the file, with the file selected. You can then check the file properties. For an embedded image, this would open the original URL in the default browser.
Thank you, I learned a lot about PureRef even after using it for months! Question: Do you recommend using a different pureref canvas for different projects, or is it okay to just have one canvas with hundreds of images?
Pureref has an option to save the images in the scene, or find them on your hard drive. Also, it autosaves. So if you want to move the scene around, it's best to have smaller scenes with packed images. Also, if you move the images around, you should probably keep them with the scene. A large scene will make autosave slow, and if you pack it it will have a huge file size. My advice is to be organized.
One of the things that kind of bothers me about PureRef is that it doesn't work with the "always-on-top" (www.howtogeek.com/howto/13784/keep-a-window-on-top-with-a-handy-autohotkey-script/) script I use so instead of just hitting ctrl+space I need to do the shortcut PureRef has or go through the effort of changing it to ctrl+space and that feature would still be handled by PureRef rather than how always on top does it. For sharing images/files ShareX is amazing so I'd suggest using that rather than drag and dropping stuff into google drive.
Hi gleb I am currently in a fix. I have been modelling a laferrari and I have got a level 3 subdivision and 0.036 thickness set to only rims. The problem is the gap which u see in the doors. I have some weird things going on if I use shard edges and edge split method and even weirder if I make some edges and delete them. Can u pls suggest anything PLSSSSSS. I AM A BIG FAN
Has anybody else had freezing issues with Pure ref? I was very excited to use it after seeing this video. I installed it and computer kept freezing. Especially when opening the document folders. I uninstalled and the freezing went away. I installed again and the freezing returned. Sadly disappointing
As a long time Linux & Mac user, Windows is looking more and more attractive for the next 2-3 years in light of graphics deprecations / non-pro hardware (Apple) and the need for Windows-only app support
@@hansen-house Well, I asked because he seems to only use open-source software available for Linux. No Adobe crap. Don't get me started on windows, the only thing that windows have is market share, therefore, a lot of software and games, but what it also has is a lot of bugs, bad UI the worst security and no privacy.
Ed Jonson Understandable. Hard to break long-established habits. Artists use whatever they want, are comfortable with, & can afford. For me, Adobe is a professional necessity (literally couldn’t interact with my clients without). Therefore, windows or macOS. Unfortunately, we don’t all have the liberty of choosing exclusively libreware
@@GlebAlexandrov just to make it clear, I purchase paid tutorials, softwares so its not like that I want 100% free tutorials. Just go to your video section and scroll down you will understand what I am talking about. Best luck for your future videos and your bright future.
When you become a true 3D artist, you’ll realise how useful this is. I’ve been using pure ref for quite a while, but didn’t know that this features exist. Thanks a lot for that Gleb!
