For everybody finding this vid. you can turn it off. go to settings, driving assists. Turn off Braking assist.

I’m leasing a Nissan Rogue, under 6,000 miles. My Rogue flashed and beeped emergency front collision lights while automatically hard breaking a week ago. Tonight, it just happened again while driving 40mph in my town with no cars in front or in back of me. While Googling- I came across this video. Taking it in to be inspected tomorrow.

Is there any update yet ? On lemon law or recall on this issue ?

I just brought 2020 Nissan rogue and have the same problem, I looked at the video to turn it off, yes it worked no noise when backing out of driveway, however, you have to turn it off each time you start your car. Doesn't stay on off. The noise is loud and very disturbing when leaving early in the morning. Feel like i'm waking up the neighbors.

I bought mine new in 2017, it still does this today!

Recently I purchased a 2019 Nisan rough 2019 ,it’s happened the same thing ,indicating the issue on a dashboard…are we able to return the vehicle back to dealership ?

mine is a 2020 nissan sentra and i had the same malfunction happen i went in they said my bulb basically was burnt out and fixed it it’s been like 3 months and today i was driving and the AEB pedestrian detection for the front end came on no sound it just keeps blinking i tried everything and it just won’t turn off so i guess i have to go in again and see what they say, i’m just so irritated not sure why it won’t just turn off

my 2018 pathfinder does the same thing and not only that, then the cruise control does not work until you stop and start the car.

My 2019 NISSAN KICKS DOES THIS I barely got this car and it randomly has those malfunctioning signs and i was dropping off my little cousins for school I had it in drive and it SHUT OFF BY ITSELF right after those signs turned on it was really scary and I’m glad it didn’t do it while I was driving.I am definitely trading it in and never getting a Nissan again!

Mine does this when I’m backing up. My whole dash board lights up. Mind you there is the curb in the “green” lines. It’s loud!!

My 2018 Nissan Sentra did the same thing today! It frightened me, I was doing 60 miles an hour on i-95 highway, as I was pulling over , I looked at the dashboard & saw a light that I've never seen before, like two cars colliding! I was very frightened. I had shut the car off. I started it up and the light was gone. I was about 7 miles from home. A few minutes later the light came back on with a few beeping sounds. I shut the car off again, started it back up the light was gone again. It seemed to happen about every mile and a half or two!! I got home, and looked it up on Google, video prior to yours miles away from home & I didn't know what it was . I turn the ignition off and looked at the book

2019 Altima SR...collision malfunction light has come on twice, with check engine. Called Nissan they said car needs software upgrade for $480. WTF!

I'm having this problem now. I took the car to Nissan, they charged me to do diagnostic test on it, they called me and stated that my brake fluids are low to do to my back brakes need to be replace. Replaced the fluid and repaired the brakes on Monday, received car on Tuesday, guess what this brake warning malfunction light is back on on Wednesday. Return car to Nissan shop, they tell me that they have to do another diagnostic test on it and that's going to cost me another $180.

This light flashed on me and my family last night. I didn't know what it was and the car never STOPPED SUDDENLY and I thank God for that. However, since this is a KNOWN ISSUE, #Nissan will definitely get a call if it causes an accident/injury.

This happened to my 2015 Dodge Charger R/T. That forward collision warning sensor is not a good safety feature.

You should be able to disable this feature in driving assists under settings. The car will still drive it just won't stop automatically. If you know it's a problem, shut it off till you get to the dealer. Do the same if it shows any type of sensor malfunction.

I just purchased a 2019 and that light started coming on today!

My 2020 Nissan Rogue warning lights have started coming on while driving with nothing around which is concerning.

Clrwtr,FL >>(2/09/22)_ My neighbor bought a new 2019 Rogue SV. Driving with Pilot Cruise on her Rogue slammed the brakes on in the intersection. They released and she continued driving. Also at certain areas in Pilot Cruise it will turn on or off. I purchased at same Dealer a 2019 Certified Rogue SL AWD. My Rogue brakes getting into the suv went to the floor. Seat was set down to floor and back. I was not getting any indicator to Press/Brake/Start. I kept pumping and finally allowed me to start. Brakes went back to normal. Dealer said they can't find reason why this all happened. For the first time on my Rogue in Cruise Pilot it turned itself off while on US19. At first I thought I never had it in cruise then realized it turned itself OFF. I have my Rogue Registered with that NR(what ever) site with a Claim Number. I reported my Rogue. If they ever figure out a reason or I am in an accident due to how my brakes react I am registered that Nissan is responsible.

I have a 2019 Rogue and when washing or driving through heavy rain the light has come on. It’s goes off soon after. A vehicle pulled in front of me and almost stopped a year ago and my Rogue automatically stopped which was good. For now I’m going to uncheck automatic braking and take to dealership. With CVT transmission I drive it nicely anyway.

I just bought a 2023 Rogue weeks ago. I do noticew when driving on highway and I allow the wheel to run over the painted edge lines the car will slow up and try to steer back into the lane. This is in ProAssist mode with the cruise control on. I don't know if the computer is actually just letting off the gas, or if it's tapping the brakes which would freak out people behind me but I feel steering wheel vibration and the lane assist lights come on briefly. Anyone having any sudden braking issues with the 2023 Rogue's?

I have a 2018 Nissan rogue and I've experienced the braking, but now it turns the crash light on and my car won't start. I googled it yesterday when the light turned on, I'm scared now. Damn car just all of a sudden braked, the light turned on and the car turned off. My cousin came to help me took the battery off then put it back. Car turned on I came home. Looked like everything was fine until this morning on the driveway car wouldn't start that light symbol was on again.. car didn't want to start until I removed the battery again. Accident waiting to happen 🙏 May the Lord be with me

i just finance a 2015 nissan rogue sv and 3 days latter the light came out in the road i hit the gas pedal a little bit because y was in front of a ligt stop and i thought the car goes backwars and start shaking i was by my self i reported and nissan got aproved by all state to replace the transmision also i found out this car belongs to another owner 8 monts prior and didint pass inspection it was inspected twice in massachusetts now i have to wait 2 weeks to get the car back again ass soon i can change it i will

I had the 2016 Nissan Rogue and never noticed the light or had issues. Now I’ve owned the 2020 Nissan Rogue for 10 months and have not noticed the light or had any issues at all. With the Pandemic I have not driven my usual Hwy driving Miles for long trips to visit. Does anyone know if any speed applies to when this occurs. I mostly have been doing city driving. Until future safety notice / reports I think I will disenable this feature in the Driving Assist. Thanks.

I bought mine 12/22/2020 and that light came on this past Tuesday 1/5/2021. It didnt brake but I feel it drives a little weird. Lord last thing I need is another car problem. That's why i bought a new one

My control module went out on my 2017 Nissan Rogue and they don't too fix it the part went out way too soon..

2021 Sentra has done it 4 or 5 times since buying in March. Brought it in to Nissan service and ask them to check it, they said they had never heard of this malfunction. Clearly A blatant lie. Gonna go back and play this report for them.
