I pressed something, panicked and got overwhelmed trying to find answers in the manual...now,after watching this video I not only know how to fix what i messed up but found out more about wonders and possibilities of this car I just bought! Thank you!
So I’ve been renting one of these Rogues for the last week and I found it to be a comfortable ride and the center console display is great but only missing one thing. The center console only displays your actual speed on the analog speedometer but not a digital readout on the display. Everything else works as advertised. Great video. -5C; brrrrr.
i Love this car. rented one for a day, turned into 5 months !!! did not want to give it back. lol i will be buying a 2020. thanks for this great video.
My mother just got one and she's disappointed a littlebit cause she like the features of her 2016 but she's loving her 2019 rogue sport, and thank you for teaching all the features, she got all confused when she was reading the manual, you help her a lot, thank you
Thank you very much for the detailed information. Presented concisely without unneccesary rambling. Much appreciated. I have included it in my Favorites bar, so I can refer to it when I need to.
great learning tool, just bought a 2019 rogue sure help me understand how much this car had to offer .i have high instep I,m able to get in and out easier.
You prolly dont care but does someone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Emilio Reign Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I have a question... Whats the meaning of a number which is there next to fuel ⛽ symbol ? Does it mean you can drive that much km until your fuel tank gets empty. ?
Thank u! I It would've been cool if it had a heads up display for showing the speed you were going but that requires a different windshield. But really it would be cool to see a digital compass somewhere.
ECO mode does adjust the car according to Nissan Selecting Nissan Eco Mode helps you get better fuel efficiency from your Nissan vehicle. The computer in your Nissan vehicle constantly controls engine and CVT response, setting it appropriately for the driving situation. With Eco Mode off, you get sporty performance from your Nissan, but you can prioritize fuel efficiency by turning Eco Mode on. It works like this: When driving a conventional vehicle, fuel consumption jumps when you step on the accelerator. Nissan Eco Mode resets engine and CVT response to use less gasoline during acceleration and regular operation. It does this by moderating sudden acceleration, directly reducing fuel consumption. Usually, sudden acceleration from a standstill is done unconsciously by the driver. Eco Mode reduces acceleration from sudden to gentle while curbing excessive fuel injection. In this way Nissan Eco Mode cuts fuel waste by moderating response to pressing the gas pedal. Eco Mode is smart enough to allow sudden acceleration when required, such as in emergencies. The vehicle computer assesses the gas pedal usage and allows prompt acceleration as needed. Eco Mode is but one example of Nissan car technology that makes our vehicles safer, more efficient and easier to drive. Stop by our Nissan dealership today and check out our huge inventory of exciting vehicles!
I bought a 2019 Rogue does it only show the a average speed and trip and not the actual speed you going digitally because it’s very bad having to depend on the analog speed
Hey Bud, ECO Mode is the opposite of SPORT Mode in that it down tunes your engine and shift pattern. I own a Rogue. I've tested all 3 driving modes for performance and shift pattern and responsiveness.
@@JasonGillettI'm going to bed in for a second, does anyone else know this in the dash when your accelerating there's like a strange loud purring coming out of it? They're telling me that it has something to do to hear the exhaust something about CVT I don't know it made no sense to me cuz I've never heard a car do that before it's not the air conditioning it's not the heat it's not the blower they're trying to tell me it's a little piece of plastic that's trying to settle. If anybody has any answers to this please let me know cuz they need to fix the damn thing
The 2019 SV does not come standard with the intelligent cruise control unfortunately. I have a 2019 SV and it does not have it. Only the SL. It is an option that can be added to the SV. Great video though! So helpful!
Question. I just bought a used 2017 from our Nissan dealership in Ottawa. I noticed this popping sound sometimes happens when I turn. It almost sounds like it’s coming from the tire. It’s sounds like I went over some rocks or gravel and has the popping sounds. Have you heard of anything like this when Nissan rouges. I found some info online but not enough. I’m wondering if I should bring it back to the dealer it’s only been 3 weeks or less.
So question I just got the 2020 rouge sport. And I want to be able to see what mph im driving at digital? Minus the average speed. Because that not telling me what I'm driving at. I just got the car yesterday on the 6/17/20 so its all new to me. Thanks
I Have this same issue with my 2018 Rouge I love it but it does not show the MPH while I’m driving which is weird because these cars are suppose to be up to day with technology. I doesn’t make sense that they do not have it.
Question, my 2019 Nissan Rogue is making a funny sputtering from the dash and they're telling me that it has something to do with the RPMs I mean it's crazy and they're telling me that it has something to do with the exhaust is what they hear and I call BS on that, what would your opinion be?
suyog manwatkar hey bud, no they haven’t put Not in yet I have no idea why the average speed in the facial isn’t something that most people use a digital speedometer would’ve been much better perhaps the next generation will get it but overall I really like a lot of the other features on the vehicle so I’m not going to discredit the whole car just because they missed the one feature but it would be nice
@@JasonGillett I am renting a Rogue while my Camry is being repaired. I could not believe that a digital speed readout wasn't an option (it is standard on Camry). By the same token I can't fathom why Toyota doesn't have a blind spot warning system
Hey Jason, I bought a 2019 rouge sv just recently. the display page with brake assist and blind spot detection shown around the car at 7:15 in your video. When I drive my car that page doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t lit up or react, but the light in the inside lights up. And also my lane departure reacts to by beeping. So I’m not sure if that page is suppose to be like that or something is wrong with the car
Hmm that sounds odd, I would stop by your dealership and ask your sales consultant to give you a quick refresher on the options and ensure everything is operating correctly
Hi, thank you for your explanation. I own a 2020 Rogue Sport. How do I bring up the dialpad on my touchscreen during a phone call? When listening to my messages it says press 1 to repeat, 7 to delete, 9 to save but I don't see a dialpad icon. My 2018 Kona has a dialpad icon which expands when pressed and then allows me to press 1, 7, 9. There must be a dialpad somewhere on the Rogue Sport.
@@JasonGillett I own a 2020 Rogue Sport and I do not see a dial pad icon when in the middle of a bluetooth call. Can you tell me where you see it or how you bring it up?
I have a 2016 Nissan Maxima S model. My menu setting don’t have as much info like your video but… When I put it in reverse, the green, yellow and red guide lines aren’t there anymore. My Nephew’s Wife was pushing buttons trying to reset the navigation system. I looked on the internet trying to fix it. I disconnected the battery. I looked in the setting and I can’t find anything for the camera. Do you have any advice? Thank you
yes in the settings menu in the screen there is a place to turn on or off the lines, sorry I don't have access to one of these vehicles or I would show you.
@@JasonGillett I looked but it was unsuccessful. There is supposed to be a secret menu that supposed to pop up if you hold the menu button and turn the volume button left to right a few times but that didn’t work either.
this is based on a 2019 rogue 2.5---SV always check your air filter.look up a few youtube video,s on how to replace easy fix and replace as well as cabin filter.4 clips your good to go make sure engine is warm, that way you will not break the clips off. cabin filter a little bit harder, you will find it to the right of the shifter well in park go rt up the side you will find a plastic part with 2 loops on it pull it down and out.this is the hard part getting out the old you will fill it. needle nose plyers my help.now you got your new cabin filter you will see 3 arrows on top or sides they point inward to the front seats. this will cost you say 45 minutes of your time and $ 35.00 at most now you should save on fuel.money in the bank .
You might be able to open the top and see how much fluid is in there. You should be under factory warranty, if you take it to a Nissan dealer they will do a battery test.
We have a brand new 2019 Nissan Rogue SL and this morning when ever I hit a bump, the warning light would come on and the doors would lock/unlock while driving. Does anyone know what this means.
Sounds like a loose connection. do me a favor and click Subscribe for more great videos! If there is a video on an option or feature you want let me know :)
When you click over to Fuel Economy on the Advanced Display, you can click the up or down arrow and it will change from Fuel Economy 1 to Fuel Economy 2. Is there a difference between the two? Mine shows two different averages.
Hi! Do you know where to find the digital speedometer that will display on the dashboard? I want to know the exact speed while I am driving by showing the numbers on the screen.
Hey Chelsea, it doesn't have one, you can see average speed but no digital speedo, hopefully they will put in them in the future as I personally love a digital speedo, not sure why the manufactures dont all get on board with it.
@@JasonGillett I bought a 2019 rouge just replaced the batteries in both remotes .some times they start the car and other times they will not,so I tried both remotes and no luck.so would that in mind I'm thinking what ever the remotes control.is not working properly.your post is outstanding.
Yesterday I discovered that the dial pad can be accessed during a phone call only if the car is stationary. So if you are driving and want to check your emails you can listen to the first message, and that's it. You cannot save it, delete it, repeat it,, or move on to the next message. It's ridiculous. My 2018 Kona allows you to operate the dial pad on the touchscreen whether stationary or driving. Nissan goofedl on this one.
true, they seem to be updating the interface in the Nissans new models, hopefully making them much more user friendly. Do me a favor and click the subscribe button and I will keep you up to date on more info.
Yes we can be both front wheel drive or all wheel drive it depends on which option you got thanks a lot for the question do me a favor and click subscribe
@@JasonGillett Okay... But I just did my reserach and it is really not accurate because of the location of sensor in the vehicle... But thanks for the reply.
I love my 2019 Rogue. I had an alert when merging onto the turnpike, I had my turn signal on, there were no cars around at all, just wondered why there was an alert, I think the car image appeared on the dash.
it,s the lane alert. my brother can,t stand it--what it is doing is picking up the road markers to keep you in the center of your lane.watch a few utube videos. left side of steering wheel see arrows and ok that your area for all the cars settings.IT CAN be set to off,it basically tells you that a car is on your blind side or drivers side.you will see a yellow lite by your mirrors/
Could be the forward collision sensor, do me a favor and click Subscribe for more great videos! If there is a video on an option or feature you want let me know :)
Around Grande Prairie most of the people I talk to get around 7L/100km on the highway. Of course it all depends on itf you have a heavy foot or what seats on it is the and then what the weathers like, you know running the A/C non stop on hot days or the heated and heated seats etc on cold ones. Also People tend to leave their Rogue idling for hours with our super cold winters.
you need brake pads, put you window down drive slow put your foot on the brake well still going forward if you hear a metal scraping sound.take it in as soon as you can.ABS is a little tricky its magnets in the wheel.i guess they could go bad or loss. is fix they can reset them.
For some reason I feel like I'm picking up more mileage on the dashboard than actuality. For example, an month I get 1000 mi. but now I have over 1600 mi. Is anyone else having this problem. Someone please help
jazzy tay that seems weird, in Canada we have sections of the road that have odometer testing for that reason. Not sure if you guys have in down in the States
Promyse only the Analog speedometer on the right will show you how fast you are going. The middle section with the odometer does not have a digit speedometer. I wish it did but it doesn’t 😂
I just bought a rogue and im so upset they dont have a digital speedometer. Why the heck would someone care about their average speed?? They give u avg speed but no digital speedometwr
What I find disappointing is that it doesn’t have the digital speedometer anymore. Not that you need another speedometer considering to the right is your actual speedometer. However, I go to the park. They say that the speed limit is 5 km an hour, and I do 5 km an hour based off what my pomereads, but everyone keeps saying you’re going too fast and it would be nice to see the digital to know if I’m actually doing five or not. Obviously people are being a little too anal, but I would love to be able to show and say look there is exactly 5 digital form.
never over pay.average with very low mileage, say 11,000-19,000 on a 2019 nissan rogue retail should come in at $18,900 or less.look for rental use.you can save a lot of money one owner.
@@youtubelopez8313 Ahhh I see you must be in the United States. That model is called the Qashqai in Canada. Very different from the Rogue. Different motor etc here is a link to one that might be more helpful ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U4_ATGcIIyw.html
This car sucks what car doesn't have a digital speedometer. It's like going from a digital clock that analog. To know your average speed is actually stupid and to have it displayed is confusing
It's a great car! I have Nissan Rogue 2014 S and I've been using for 6 years now. And still runs smooth, super reliable car. I've installed Android head unit on it and I like it. If you want to see my Android head unit, check my video.
sorry to hear Vitkar, that would be annoying, must say its the first I have heard of it but I am a product specialist not a technician etc so probably out of my scope
These vehicles are just poorly designed and high maintenance. Just turned one away today that was on its 14th wheel bearing; and I couldn't get the current one of. The fact you have to do a video on things that should be intuitive shows the poor thought put into them.
This video is really just to help someone learn their Rogues driver display, this is just a hobby channel of mine but I see that you are clearly upset by this vehicle. I hope someone can cheer you up. Hugs from a far!
