Haven't watched this video yet but just saying this...I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago in my right breast. Five months Before my diagnosis, my cat Chester started alerting me by staying on my right side while I laid in bed and bumping his head under my right arm constantly. He has always laid on my left side, at my hip, and so this made me wonder what he was doing. He was very constant and verbal (MMMMMEEEOOOOWWWW) about my right armpit. Head nudging my arm pit, digging his paws into my right side and getting in my face meowing Very loud at me. I had a large cancerous lump under my right arm pit and above my right breast. Chester knew. Chester told me and helped save my life. My Right Breast is now gone but my mighty Chester is still here with me and watches over me day and night. He is my Boochie. My made up name for a beautiful cat that loves me and I that I love. Boochie. (Boo-Chi).

The other day i was crying and my little kitten, she is literally like 9 weeks old, cuddled up on my shoulder/neck and purred until i stopped crying. She’s just such a sweet baby.

He tunneled under bedspread, turned around and came up to my chest, put his head & paw on my chest. He knew it was my heart. Saw cardiologist few weeks later, told it was time to change valve. Edward knew & was telling me it was my heart. When my husband died in 2917 I was crying. Picked up Edward & told him why Dad was not coming home any more, he licked away my tears on both cheeks. Edward died 2 years ago, 18 1/2. Miss him. Have 3 strays. They are great.

Cats love you unconditionally. They are very spiritual and can feel your vibrations like when you are sick. They are more aware of your feelings than a lot of people. They are very smart. There is so much people don't know about cats. If they did maybe they wouldn't be so judgemental.

My cat Howie, adopted me when he was nine and at the shelter. He had been rescued from an extremely abusive household, where he was beaten so badly he suffered damage to his left eye. When I brought him home, he was afraid of everyone and everything. Now, five years later he is a happy, well adjusted kitty. He should be a service animal as well, because he knows when I am going into an adrenal crisis. Specifically, my early symptoms. Now I know when he has eye contact with me, and will not let me look away, even if it means standing on my keyboard, take my meds right away. So far, his diagnosis have been accurate. His alert is obvious to me, and he even does this one rotation circle when I ask if I need to take my meds as confirmation. After my meds, I have severe body shivers, he stays with me laying on my body, purring loudly. He's amazing! I'm so very thankful to have him in my life. He's saved me so many times, because when it hits me it is quick. I loose the ability to speak and move, do to my blood pressure and pulse dropping so quickly and so severely.. I wish I could get him certified!!

I was really going through it during lockdown a few years back… my cat appeared in my garden out of nowhere and was immediately super friendly even though I was a stranger, and she curled up on my lap pretty much instinctively right away. I’d tried to solve my psychological issue in a lot of ways. What stabilized me? Having a feline friend by my side purring on my lap day after day. Can’t say the problem is solved, but I definitely feel like it’s way more manageable with her by my side. She’s my little tuxedo angel.

My border collie was crate trained. I always put his water in one corner of the crate and the food in another. If he needed one or the other, he would go to that side of the crate. My cat watched him do this frequently. So one the the cat walked to the side of the crate that usually had the dog's food. It took me a few times of the cat walking back to that side for me to realize that there may be something I'm missing. I asked her if she wanted food and she walked into the bathroom to show me that her bowl was empty! She continued to do that, changing sides depending on what she wanted for as long as she lived.

My cats come around asking for food between 4:30-5 every day. One started yelling hello at 5 a.m. When I told him it was too early and he had to wait another hour, he did so. When one asks for something too early, I might say come back in 15 minutes, and they will. They are very good with time.

I remember the time where I had a nasty stomach ache and my kitten got in my bed and laid besides me. He gently patted my forehead with his paw and I fell asleep. Just the other day I wasn't feeling well, so when I got home, changed into casual clothes and got under the blankets, my kitten joined me. he sat around my right side(maybe the right shoulder)and we fell asleep together. Love the little guy. Even tho he can be a menace to society but he can have his sweet moments.

I am prediabetic and one of my cats is half siamese and before I even notice my blood sugar dropping she is already telling me. She has an extremely loud caterwaul to let me know that something needs to be done fast. I came in from running errands 1 day and my blood sugar had already dropped and because of that I felt very weak when I tried to walk. She was immediately screeching at the top of her lungs and as soon as I sat down she jumped onto my lap and wouldn't let me get up. When she finally decided to let me out she ran ahead of me into my bedroom screeching nonstop and looking over her shoulder at me and making sure I was following her. She jumped up into the middle of my bed continuing to scream and as soon as I sat down she shot through the air like a bullet and hit me in the chest and knocked me over. My right arm went out and she ran up laid down in the palm of my hand and wrapped all 4 legs around my arm and wouldn't let me move. I thought perhaps I would like to roll over on my left side and when I tried that she showed me just how easy it would be to use my arm as a pin cusion if she wanted to. Needless to say I was not going to be allowed to even roll over in bed and I fell asleep a short time later. When my alarm went off I noticed that she wasn't with me so I sat up on the bed and she immediately came running from the kitchen with a frantic look on her face and that same screech coming out of her. I lay down because I didn't want to be knocked down again by her and she got up onto the bed and literally sniffed me from the top of my head to my feet before I was even allowed to sit up. When I did she plastered herself beside me and looked into my face with this look that said I'm here for you mom don't worry. When I stood up she plastered herself against my legs and she stayed with me for the rest of the day. Now when my blood sugar starts to drop she lets me know so I know early enough so I can do something about it before it gets obvious. I was waiting for my lunch to warm up 1 day and she was alerting me on the problem I was going to have. As soon as I sat down to eat she jumped up on the table and sat there and watched me eat my food. I did try to put her on the floor a couple of times but with siamese that doesn't always work the way you want it to. She watched me eat half of my food before she jumped off the table and went to her own food bowl and started eating. As soon as she would get a mouthful of food she would look over her shoulder and watch me eat while she's chewing her food. Love that little cat.

My Cat makes me feel Sooo loved! He runs to the door, when I get home & is quiet, until I wake up on my own. He is Sooo patient! His name is Ami...as in Mon Ami...French for friend 🐾🐈‍⬛ He's a Tabby! He makes my home a home😇

I’ve had the flu recently which turned into a chest infection and is now a possibly eight week long inflammatory cough. Bailey Boo has been sleeping draped over my chest and purring each night, helping to keep me calm and sleepy; this means he thereby minimises my coughing fits as much as he can. Love my boy. My first Siamese was my guardian when I was bedridden with the flu. Every time I woke up he was there in bed with me and several friends came by to fix soup or tea and said that the food they had left was untouched. He went to eat when they were there and whatever they replenished remained uneaten. He did use the litter because he could see my bed from the bathroom. He was amazing his entire lifetime, my Mao.

it’s funny. my cats (I have three of them) knew my ex was pregnant before she and I did. my cats know when I have a seizure coming and will cluster around me. my cats get visibly upset when i’m preparing to go to work. my cats 100% know when i’m sad, and will again cluster around me. They know when i’m mad, and will do things to cheer me up such as playing around in ways that make me laugh. they know when they did something wrong with a mere glance and will come up to apologize. cats are incredible.

I live in the country. Yesterday someone was doing target practice in their back yard. Naturally this scared Todd (my cat). He came up to me and sat on my lap after a while of feeling me be relaxed and unaffected by the gunshots he totally relaxed too. I have trouble defining love, but I can point at examples.

My previous 17 year old recognized everything I did and knew what comes next. I had my car for repair for one week and I borrowed my friends car. He always came inside when I arrived, but when I didn't have my car he didn't recognize the engine sound so he wouldn't come to the back door unless I called for him. When I got my car back, he always approached as I parked my car outside again, just like he always did.

Nah, this actually bringing me to tears. Three years ago, i went to my aunts farm and she let me bring home one of her barn kittens. His name was Boots. He was a beautiful tabby short haired kitty. For three years he was my best friend. He would sit with me while i struggled with math and he would calm me when i was upset. He let me hold him and cry into his fur whenever i needed it. He followed me and whenever i left, he would happily come greet me when i got back home. Around 6 months ago, his nose started to pale. Then his tongue and paws. I kept asking my parents to take him to a vet but it was procrastinated greatly. We finally got an appointment scheduled for him after his symptoms got worse. He had trouble breathing and was lethargic. The day before mother’s day, my family visited my grandmother’s house to help out with her outdoors work. I told my aunt about Boots’s condition and she told me he had anemia and it was bad. She told me to prepare for him to die. I wanted to deny it but really, i was scared. I didn’t want to lose my best friend. But deep down somehow i knew he was really bad off. I cried almost all day while working and got little work done, but no one pressed me thankfully. When i had gotten home i called Boots, terrified that he was gone. He didn’t come which scared me really bad. But he meowed at me from my kitchen. He was barely able to stand and he was really sick. I thought he had iron deficiency because of google mentioning that it was a common cause of anemia in cats. So my sister and mother and i made a wonderful ‘feast’ for him. My mom cooked some liver (rich in iron and he loved it) i got him shrimp and scrambled eggs. We stayed up past 12am just taking care of him. He somehow had the energy to purr for me even while he couldn’t hold his own weight. That night, i slept downstairs with him and my sister so he wouldn’t be alone. I woke up at 4am to feed him more shrimp. I love him so much. The next day, aka mother’s day, his vet appointment happened. We had to hurry because my sister had a symphony recital to go to. After a few hours we finally got the results of his tests. He had leukemia, and it was incredibly bad. His red blood cell count was 7, the normal was 32 if i remember correctly. The vet asked me if i wanted to take him home or euthanize him. I told her i wanted more time with him. She then informed me that he likely wouldn’t live to see then next day. That was the some hardest news i have ever heard. I called my sister to come to say goodbye. When the vet brought Boots back to me while waiting for my sister to show up, i held him. He was bundled up in a blanket and he nuzzled my face with his head. I had been crying for probably an hour by then. I held him tight and cried into his fur, i kept telling him i love him and that i always will. When my sister showed up we held him together. Then we sat for a bit together. Boots then started purring, my heart broke. Here he was, about to be put down and he was purring in my arms. I cam’t even imagine the pain he had been in for so long. But he was still so sweet to me. I felt his purrs against my midsection and i knew it was the last time i would ever feel his purr. When he was injected with the euthanasia i broke even more. The way he went limp, everything. I couldn’t take it. I wanted to help him. But i couldn’t. There was nothing i could do. I screamed into his fur and hugged him. Then i screamed into my sister’s shoulder. Everything after that is kinda a blur. I remember going to the symphony but it was too long and too short at the same time. I wanted to scream and cry and throw something and curl up and sleep. The following week(s, idek how long it was) i looked into kittens for adoption on facebook. Worst place. I saw some kittens i wanted to meet, but they were all stupid scams. I finally gave up and looked at the neighborhood app. I found a person who their cat had a litter undesired. We met the kittens. My sister and i loved them. Six weeks old. Their birthday only days after Boots. Somehow my dad agreed to let us adopt two of the three kittens. Now we have three cats at home. We had two when we had Boots, RC and Boots. RC was adopted the same week as Boots and they were super close, even though RC is 9yrs and Boots passed at 3yrs. Now we are trying to help RC get comfortable with the new kittens. Even though it has been a while, this video just reminded me of how much i love Boots. He was my best friend and my forever baby. Heh heh,,,, i really ranted there. Once i started i kinda just couldn’t find a way to stop. Idk. Anyway have a good day and pls, pls, value the people and animals in your life. So glad to know that cats are aware of the love we have for them, l have always wondered about this. Many animals, not only cats, have a " natural clock " in their head. My late father always said the horses that pulled their plows & wagons, would reliably stop within a few minutes of 12 noon every work day, to be fed.

I remember the first time my cat showed me affection. I was getting ready for work & preparing his food/water/litter when he rubbed against my leg. Now he'll jump into my bed & still head bump me when I wake up & will lay down next to me. Contrary to most beliefs, he loves his stomach rubbed (to a certain extent of course 😹). I have 6 cats and they all do special things.One is with me 24/7 even goes to the bathroom with me, one knows when I am going to have a siezure, one knows when I am going through a serious depression thing. One of my boys jumps in my purse and one jumps in my husband's backpack when we go to leave. We never say bye to our cats its always I love you ,be home in an hour or two. Cats and/or animals in general give such unconditional love and security that I will forever love all the animals.

This is so true when I was very sick and was dying my cat literally laid on my chest and she was purring so hard because my heart rate dropped extremely low I was rushed to the hospital found out I had SEPSIS which is deadly and will kill you between 6-12 hrs if not treated immediately I was also sick from mold and my cat knew cats are very intelligent I love her even more she saved my life on several occasions she also knew when I was depressed and crying

Changes in owners is right. I go through periods of sleeping and sleeplessness. Right now I’m on my nothing but sleep. And my two cats wait patiently for me. They cuddle up to me more. They want to be around me and when I go to another room one or both follow to keep an eye on me. Only when they see that I’m fine do they do their me time in their cupboard condo, or on my recliner and both love lying on my art chair at my dining room table ignoring the four other chairs. 99% of the time are either on me, near me or in the same room with me. I get head bunts, plenty of marking and lots of kneading and purring. I never feel alone with my little guardians. And before I go to bed one or the other or both want their extra before bed cuddling. Or pound my closed bedroom door until I do. I love these two so much. But it took two months before my boy began to open up to me. I had to really earn it with him. My girl and I have that girl thing going on. She took right to me. I love my cat kids so much. My only regret of cat ownership is that didn’t have two from the beginning in 1980. Having two cats is twice the love and cuddles.

I am chronically depressed with a couple of chronic illnesses. Both my mental and physical ailments have ups and downs. My cats automatically become more playful on the days I feel better, but way more mellow on those I am not well. They are the best

I am a certified Cat Master! I trained my cat to acknowledge commands like a dog. I've always had male Tabbys and she is my 1st female cat and she is a Snow Shoe breed, which I've never even heard of until the Warden brought her home. I was mad at 1st because my wife didn't consult with me (as usual) before making the decision to have a cat. I was gonna give it away until I seen her head pop out of the box. 7 weeks old, all white with icey blue eyes, pink toe beans, pink nose, and pink lips. 💙 She was meant for my son and he named her... Stinky. I tried to get him to change it but that's what he wanted. Anyway, I will never forget how she squared up with my neighbors Pit Bull when their dog got to close to my son. Luckily nothing happened but I was extremely proud of her for that. She is very protective. She growls at the sound of the doorbell and stands guard at the side of whoever opens the door. If she is asleep upstairs, I could call her from the basement and you would hear her GALLOP through the house at full speed to get to me. She uses me as her personal mattress every damn night which was cute when she was a baby but now she is a year and a half old and it's a bit annoying waking up to her pink toe beans in my face... between her and my Warden/Wife always having a leg 🦵 and/or arm on me... I haven't had a good night's rest in a long... long time but it's worth it 🫠 My apologies for the long comment... feels almost cathartic lol. Since I get to admit this here what I would never say to anyone in person, I love both of my Stinky Mamas 😊

Cats learn to communicate exceptionally well. I always talked to mine. She will use a vast array of emotionally toned meows in respond to my words. She also realizes when i talk nonsense with her cus i simply enjoy talking to her. She will stop meowing and "smile" at me before changing the topic to either adress a need of her or just come directly for cuddels after her smile

David Dosa, M.D., wrote a book about Oscar. It's called _Making Rounds with Oscar: The Extraordinary Gift of an Ordinary Cat._ It's a good read. According to Oscar's Wikipedia page, it was announced in 2010 that a feature film based on the book was planned. I don't know if it was ever made.

The thirteenth fact really got to me, hits close to home. I once had the sweetest kitten with green eyes and a stunning stripped pattern on her back, the white on her belly shaped it and it’s hard to describe. She had something wrong with an organ in her (can’t remember) and we had to put her down. She was only ten months old. I’ve always felt so, so guilty that I didn’t see that she was hurting sooner, didn’t know something with wring until she lost her ability to walk and stopped pooing regularly. I came back from a school trip to find out she was no longer able to walk. On her last day before she was taken to the vet, I took her with me in her favorite bed, sat down on the couch with her and pet her and told her I loved her before my mom took her to the vet to be put to sleep. I still look up at the sky sometimes and say that I hope she knows how much I love her.

I am often unwell and have a lot of stomach issues, my cat is always with me when I have bad days. He is my angel.

I met a neighbor who had a Corgi that I was allowed to pet. She was the first Corgi I ever met and what a social little butterfly she is. When I got home and my two smelled that dog on me they weren’t happy. I was ignored the rest of the afternoon. Then they forgave me at night. Funny babies.

My kitten named Neptune was so smart and sweet. I suffer from severe depression and he always knew when I was really sad or having anxiety or having suicid*l thoughts : he came to cuddle or to sleep on me because he knew it was so comforting and relaxing for me. He was my son and I was his mother, we had a beautiful connection we always understood each other…Unfortunately I learned that he had a disease that we can’t heal (malformation about the heart) and he died a couple weeks ago…I can’t stop thinking about him and I missed him so much. He helped me a lot with my depression by only his presence. RIP Neptune 🕊️❤️

After reading the comments here, i teared up :( i want a cat so badly... once i had one, but when my parents divorced, my dad didn't pay attention to my lil boy, and he ran away. Or my dad just threw him out in the winter cold.. i still don't know the truth :( i remember my baby.. rest in peace, sweetheart

From what I've been told by my mom, me and my cat, mama. Had bonded so deep that mama used to attack my mom and then run to my room, and my mom apat first didn't understand why. But she quickly realized that my cat was warning my mom I was about to have a seizure and she needs to come. And this was the only ever time mama attacked anyone, and she only ever attacked my mom specifically. Though this didn't last long since I luckily at some point stopped having seizures and my cat stopped. Its actually a major reason why my mom didn't give mama up (shes allergic to her) since without mama my mom wouldn't know when i was about to have a seizure, and mama is also an old cat (15 years old) so shes stuck with us until she passes on. And I honestly hope that the time doesn't come for a long time, shes the only ever cat I've had and I don't want to loose her.

Manny has two meows, mom and MOMMMM! The second he sounds like a cackling witch because it’s long and drawn out, harsh sounding and loud! My girl has a soft meow or trills. Only time she raises her voice is when her brother is pestering her and she screams. I tell him to leave his sister alone and he usually does. Other than those things my two are mostly silent. They have me well trained to respond to when they talk.

My cat of 17 years would pray with me, literally. She would be in another room & I would start praying & reading my Bible, she would run into my room and jump on my lap. She would even cross her paws as though she was praying, also. If I neglected my prayer time, she would come lay on my chest & just stare me in the face, as to remind me, it was time to pray. Her name was Angel. The morning she died, I had her in my bed next to me all night; as I slept, within minutes, from waking up, she looked at me and passed away. I had the most sweet & spiritual life with her. She lived up to her name “Angel.”❤❤❤

This is all true. I've experienced all this because I've owned many cats.

Whenever I need to travel, and I’m packing my cat will jump in the suitcase and as soon as I don’t look at the suitcase, she will pee immediately in the suitcase. No woman, you are not leaving 😂

Temugin, my sister's cat sensed when I was upset, after being scratched by an outside cat, he growled at the offending cat, and came and sat next to me, purring until I was happy. He was such a sweetie. He's gone to cat heaven now, and I am sad if his loss, but there are two other cats that bring me joy, so the pain is more bareable now. Temujin was like a older brother to me. (The cat was older than me!) I am now 16 years old. He died when I was 14 years old, November 2022.

I don’t do well in the rare thunderstorm. I get tense and agitated. So my two crowd next to me or settle on me on the couch. If I start pacing checking outside I have two sets of cat eyes watching every move. I get so agitated I go upstairs, my cats come up, find me and cuddle to calm me and I’m good for the rest of the night. Cat’s 2 and 3 of years past couldn’t have cared less how I am in thunderstorms. They’d sleep right through it. It in a way that was therapeutic. Their non caring about thunder and lightening flashes helped somewhat to calm.

I had a cat once that would wake me up at night if I stopped breathing (I have a regular problem with that), was the first to detect that I had a thyroid disorder before we did by always checking my throat (which he stopped doing after I started receiving treatment), and lay across my arms during my anxiety attacks so I couldn't pull at my hair and purr until I calmed down. My current cats do similar things but also remain close to me at all times like they need to make sure I'm okay.

My cat brings me his toys to play fetch when I’m getting ready to leave the house.

My son-in-law recently had a bout with diverticulitis. Daughter told me Biff had been sleeping on the side of his blockage for a couple of weeks. 6 days later, Biff ends up with a blockage. Both are recovered now, but Daughter & I decided that Biff was like John Coffey (from the Green Mile) & just didn't know how to "blow out" the infection. Crazy? Maybe, but we're going with it 😻

I just got a kitten last week ..been binge watching cat videos so I can be a good cat Daddy for my little friend

A few weeks ago I had tonsillitis and my cat came up and smell my face, then bit my nose.
