Miki Chu also even if the person is right in front of them just few spaces ahead..they wud luk left then right never in front and then something/someone else will grab their attention . I still love Karana though 😅
Lol you guys are geniuses!! BTW you forgot the boy's evil mother that rejects the poor girl and embarrasses her in a cafe/restaurant by throwing water at her THEN comes the boy with a wrist grab to save the day while the girl tries to maintain her dignity.
TheKyugirl Oh my gosh yes! So true!! I love it when the girl does stand up to the evil ahjumma tho :) and SoMaRaShi Chan you just read my mind with that back-hug x) LOVE THOSE!!
+Skye Ebesu Yes, its mostly like that. But it's the opposite on Itazura na kiss (J-Drama). There the mother promotes the love but the son doesn't like the girl at the beginning. :D That mother ist hilarious.
f ' cillia Tøut Cøurt isnt it normal though? My bestfriend backhugs me while we're washing our hands together and um no awkward moments and stuff? OH WAIT WE'RE TAKKING BOUT KDRAMAS HAHA...
oh you forgot: 1. The bitchy mom who tries to separate the couple by giving the poor girl money 2. The dramatic (not to mention hot) shower scene the guy has 3. Slap in the face 4. No matter how poor they are, the always have the latest model phone 5. At least one scene where the girl gets drunk and spill out her true feelings 6. Everyone loves ramen 7. Dramatic airport scene where one of them tries to leave and the other runs frantically around the whole airport trying to stop him/her. 8. U turns in the middle of the road 9. "kajima" 10. ENDINGS ARE NEVER SATISFYING.
And the rich guys aalways have a traumatising childhood or another tragic backstory that makes us feel bad for them, even if they act like complete jerks.
+Marktuaned fyeah Never underestimate the power of government assistance. I worked in pharmacy for 6 years and the people who came with Medicaid had the latest phones, but I who was working my butt off could only afford a basic phone.
omg i love you guys so much XD! I died Laughing! Lol you guys are 100% true! That was an awesome description of a typical Asian Drama and lol we still love them even though we know what happens in every single drama XD!
Off the Great Wall wow you guys really answer to all comments if possible! :D you guys are really great! and i'm looking forward to another Korean/Kpop video :D
Know almost all the dramas shown and lmao all you said was so true hahah. Dont forget the background music cause thanks to the background music you know who will end up with whom example: guy and girl glance at each other "YOUUU AREE MY DESTINYYYYY "
...Don't forget Boys Over Flowers! *AAALMOST PARADISEEEEEE* -.- even when you hear the first few tunes of the song you know you're going start rolling your eyes but end up singing the damn song lol
Whoa, whoa, what about the part where the rich parents are trying to break apart the couple by introducing a "more fitting" mate for their rich son/daughter? And then the poor person feels bad for subjecting the rich person to his/her family strife and tries to break up the relationship (also the poor person feels he/she can never measure up to the other rich person) ONLY to find out that there was true love there and they were actually meant to be...which was of course SOO obvious that even the sassy grandma/grandpa knew how it would end. Finally, the grandma/grandpa gives the couple his/her blessing which pretty much trumps all of the parents say in the situation because grandmas/grandpas not only spoil their grandsons/granddaughters, they also possess wisdom of the ages that far outweigh parents. Also because the grandma/grandpa is still the owner of the company in a surprise twist ending- it was actually decided long ago that the grandson/granddaughter would be the true heir to the empire once he/she got married.
Jane Cui I've never seen Boys Over Flowers and I've never even heard of Goong until your comment lol :x. In total, I have only seen one K-drama the whole way through (Coffee Prince).
Stefany Perez No。 there's always a elegant rich beautiful kindheart ex girlfriend or boyfriend loving the girl or boy no matter how she or he is rude.😳
HAHAHAHAHAH OMG 😂😂😂 you guys are hilarious! That's so true!!! What I wonder now: Did you actually watch all the dramas you showed? (Except for one I've watched them all 🙊😸)
+Dragonk116 I just need an overly attractive guy to see potential in my trackies and geeky self. Or go on weird adventures that make the best flash back sequence ever
They are actually Korean dramas. sigh. Asia has 52 nations. Anyhow, [Stereotypes of Asia] --------------------------------------------- Asian drama = Korean drama Asian pop = Korean pop Asian comics = Japanese comics Asian animation = Japanese animation Asian people = Chinese people Result. KOREA + JAPAN + CHINA = ASIA
Thanks to you, I haven't slept in days because I had to watch The Heirs in a week :). Nice list! But you forgot: The evil family of the rich guy with a dark secret (what a twist!!).
Yes! Kill me heal me, healer and doctor stranger!! I hate when they say bad thing about Asian.. I mean.. What so bad with being Asian? I love korean ! They are awesome and amazing...
OH MAH GAWD!!! These are all the questions I always wondered whenever I watch K-dramas! It seriously doesn't make sense how someone can get sick after being in the rain for like 5 minutes?! I actually once thought that maybe Koreans have a weak immune system or something because they always get sick afterward? Like wtf?!
Those scenes of girls getting bullied and humiliated, around the middle of the video, are very hard to watch without getting angry. They also wouldn't fly in America: a guy who threw a cake in a girl's face like that would get disciplined at least, and probably beaten up. (Sorry; I have a very low tolerance for bullying.)
One, it's not real, it's just a fictional show. Two, I know which one you're talking about, and the clips are from, "Boys Over Flowers". If you watched it, you would know that the school had the most rich kids going there. Because of their wealth, power, and status they were untouchable - therefore, they were allowed to severely bully others. (But it ends really happy and it's actually a good drama.)
I *know* it's just fiction: I still don't have to like it. I've also suffered from, and observed, bullying in real life, so don't be so condescending: it's grossly insensitive.
Nick Hentschel I had no intentions of being condescending so it is entirely your fault that you took my comment that way. I was simply saying that I thought your sensitivity was unnecessary, but that is just my opinion.
I'm Chinese and my husband's Korean. I like watching Korean drama (guilty pleasure) and my husband would agree you're spot on with all 13 items. I also like Cantonese Hong Kong drama shows which are very, VERY different. give those a try!
I actually think that having a rich/rich relationship would be interesting since we're so used to seeing the rich/poor trope all the time. Seeing a rich couple talk about their rich people problems, their parents, how they think about normal society or how they interact in it would be nice to see. Actually, now that I'm mentioning all of this I got the idea to write a story about it lmao
Guys ur the ones who introduced me to Kdramas!! Thank u so much!!! Also I came to this video one year later and now I've realised I watched all of the dramas on ur thumbnail :00
how can this be an Asian ?!.. you only show the Korean drama though... i'm not trying to be rude but with all your respect don't generalized it if you analyze only the korean drama...
oh i swear to god.. this is soo true for Indian shows also.. just add in an extended family of like 30 people with no point in life except to have their faces shown in close up dramatically when ever someone says something... But love Korean shows more.. coz the actors are so cute
im east Asian myself n i wont deny this applies to 95% of the dramas. dont generalized? first westerners tend to describe Asia as East Asia only. the rest subcontinents are as their own like India n middle East. so they will discount that. if you ever watch Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese n South East Asian drama 95% all of them are like this
No lie, when I was at Six Flags, I saw some Korean's (they were speaking Korean) giving piggyback rides to each other and the poor dude was literally gasping for dear life XD
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I'm addicted to your channel, is really funny (specially the Asian parents, my father isn't Asian but he did so many thing like your videos that I'm thinking doing a DNA test to find my Asian roots! LOL!) This video is hilarious! In Brazil this whole "Rich is bad and poor are angel" is exactly the same in soap operas!!! Great channel, keep up the good work, cheers from Brazil!
man, you guys are soooo spot-on with this video. when you mentioned the nosebleed i said to my wife "see? i told you!!!! i'm not the only one who sees it!" thank you for that
PumpkinPipet Exactly! Shame how 'Asian' seems to pertain to East or South Asia, depending if it's an American or Brit that's using the term when 'Asia' as a vast continent is a lot bigger than that! And as for other Asian Dramas, quite a few K-dramas are remakes of Taiwanese/Japanese/Chinese etc ones.
feel the same. i dont want my storys to look like another typical mary-sue anime story, though i have to say, thay are one of the cutest, like how the girl gets sick and the guy who is seen as a jerk takes care of her and falls for her and to be honest, i didnt think that the sharing a one bed bedroom was a thing.
yeah yeah Korean dramas are soo predictable... yet soo addictive too... umm there are a lot of genres in k-dramas so you can just choose the funny ones which is what I usually do since I don't like it to suffer that much...you should do an analysis about japanese and chinese dramas too, off course they have a lot of remakes but there're some differences, I guess due to the cultures or perhaps you can watch some latin soapoperas, I bet you'll learn a lot of funny things too!!...I think American series are just as stupid sometimes... I had a lot of fun with your video, THOSE FACTS ARE SO TRUE
***** Do you mean the "Liar Game" were the description says: "The heroine is sent a mysterious note inviting her to join the Liar Game and given a huge amount of money, and she is instructed to somehow trick the other player out of their sum." And "Dr. Frost" based on the webtoon?
Annie Wong Same lol. Kim Hyunjoong was my everything in that drama, then...Lee Minho swooped in and kidnapped my attention. I'm like Jandi in that case lol
Omg!!! You two are hilarious!😂😂🤣🤭♥️❤and I love it!! I love that my sister and I found your videos this year( 6,7,8 years late...but hey who's counting). You teach us so much...and handsome on top of it.
This is so true! Catching a cold after the rain, taking care of them when they are sick, and the amnesia thing with the ex girlfriend trying to take advantage. Love that ending, sooo funny xD!
