Some funny tips i've picked during my time, I may miss some but here they are: *When you melee someone with the sparks, the second hit doesn't drain stamina. *You can burn yourself to take out bees, if you are in a pinch, burning 1 takes way longer to kill you/burn a lifebar than the bees to keep adding venom. *Always turn off the lanterns where you will rotate, except if you wish to funnel an entrance for the enemies, so you can block it, keep it mind burning 1 doesn't do that much dmg, and they might just run on it. *Silenced weapons aren't just memes, you can use a silenced nagant to activate barrels safely, shoot doors or make enemies aggro, just don't shoot bells, doing that usually means the enemy is somewhere else. *The armored register where you shoot/slash them, so you can slash their legs and leave them very slow. *Silent killer perk (the one where you make no sound when you melee) isn't that very good an option, since the enemies still make sound when you hit them, and if you are that much close to be heard, it isn't that viable. *Instead of getting Mythriadist (where the poison damage is slower), just buy an antidote shot, usually the hard part of the game takes 1/2 an hour, which is just the active time for the cheap antidote shot, or spend a little more bucks, and you have a perma poison shield. *Concertinas are faster (and stamina smartwise) to take out with bare punches, take out the medikit and punch away. *If you wish to instakill someone with booby traps, draw a cross with the concertina trip mine and the poison trip mine, the bleed and poison damage will stack, leaving them dead or barely living. *You can stack alert mines in a very long line, and when triggered they will go one after the other, it isn't practical but it's fun to watch at least once. *You instakill immolators with chokebombs. *The assassin gets a lot of poison damage, get an antidote shot and go hide in a corner with a poison bomb, and watch as he kills himself. *You can take out the butcher fire with a chokebomb, he can, however, regain it if you light him on fire or walk through a broken lantern (just happened to me yesterday). *Taking out kennels isn't a very good idea for an stealth approach: they still make the fire sound and whine as they die. It's best to circle around, as they will alert if someone else comes by. *Always be aware near barrels, ALWAYS. *Shots trigger barrels after some seconds, a second shot will insta trigger it, a fuse/flare/lantern will make it explode instantly also. *You still make noise while crouching and switching through your items. *You don't need to tap your trigger if you have fanning/levering, however, you lose a lot of aim if you leave it pressed, a short round of burst is more recommended. *You can stop a record player/piano with a melee, before it starts playing, you will still make a little hit sound. *Best melee vs hunters is the cheap knife, you get a lot of charged hits, they make them bleed and you look funny running as if you are pressing your own chest. *Every gun sounds different, train your ears to identify guns. *In a game where you hear the enemies before you see them, a pair of good headphones is mandatory. *Be prepared to die, a lot. Frustration is going to be the bread and butter of everyday, but every now and then you will get the pleasure of wiping a server, trading a nagant for a mosin or just having fun with many of the shenaningas that may happen, this game is addictive, and you will be scheming plans even when you are not playing. Happy hunting, sorry if my english was odd at times, im not a native speaker
Great video, #4 was a pleasant surprise. About the meathead - in early days of Hunt there was a description to each boss about how to kill them. Spider - fire and shot to the head deals most damage. Butcher shots and strikes to the weak arm (the one he is not using) is his weak spot. I really thought it applied to meatheads as well. Good to know it doesn’t. Tip #14 - typing the name of a trait in Store will bring up weapons the trait is used for. I’ve used that to learn that the Steady Hand doesn’t work for Obrez Guns. Learned from Bambi’s stream. I’d love a part 2.
I am not sure about the Butcher weak spot. Ive been told from devs there is no weak spot for him. Also I would put in the store thing, but Psychoghost already showed it in his vid
Rachta Z devs could have changed that but in early access I’m 100% positive that it was said in the description that his weak arm is a weak spot. Same goes for the assassin’s chest. That could have been changed after a time but at some points those were true. Put the store thing in P2, why not.
Hey Ratcha, nice tips, the global boss scan is super valuable information, thank you so much. Keep up the killer gameplay and videos my man, great job!
I lold so hard watching that bear trap clip, kudos to crytek for making 1st person animation completely different to what others see, just wow. Has this been fixed yet, or were they too busy making 8euro skins edit: also, tip 9 is very cool, they could totally add a trait that would allow you to shoot right after (or soon after) you throw a consumable, so you could try shooting it in the air xD "trick shot" I would call it hah
So when you said special ammo spawns in every compound, but only showed a slewcr few compounds, does that mean the other compounds that you didn't show... they don't spawn special ammo ever? Basically, if I'm low on special ammo, should I only check the few you showed? Also, when you say it can spawn either 0 or at least 3, does that mean if I find 1 box at a compound, I'm guaranteed to find 2 more at that very same compound?
The last 2 werent even tricks or tips, just a fun curiosity that some players might not know about, its not like know the description of fista gives you an advantage in game or something xD
