I think its alot of luck. Thats why I bear trap inside concertinas when possible. That way players usually are deterred from trying to jump the concertina or if they just blind jump through doors or chokes in boss layers it usually get them

Newbies will do it cause they're newbies, however veterans who do it they clearly do it on purpose but not necessarily for the good reasons. Main one being overconfidence, thinking that cause they're good or got experience, they're gonna win for sure or cross fingers expecting you to miss but it can easily turn against them so veteran or not... Don't ever peak the same place twice, mostly if it's a window! 4FS at Blanc got lucky and anyway he had no other good options so he took the 50% chance rather than heal/run and risk 80% of dying.
Do you plan to make weapon guides? Like what compounds favor you, ideal distance and playstyle, weather to be aggressive or passive,etc for most of the rifles? I would personally enjoy a series teaching me what's worth it and how to use it! Great video as always 👍

i rarely ever see any other players while playing this game. Ive been playing roughly 20 hours and have been in 2 PVP gunfights. I was shot at another time but never actually saw the person or got into a gunfight. Encountering other players in this game is extremely rare.
You must be playing on a low pop server at strange times of the day. Even in OCE, which has a small community you can expect full matches (3-4 gunfights) from 4pm onward.
Just a small tip, when u pause ur video u can make a little pause icon, cause when it was paused first time, I tought that my RU-vid freezed and reloaded the page:D

Great content. Any interest in doing a video listing some of the pros/cons of your preferred tools/consumables? Similar to the ranked traits video you did. Or whatever. Have started experimenting with different combos - the range on offer is pretty cool and totally changes playstyle. Eg ring fencing compound entrances with fire bombs / fusees during banishing might offer less area denial then concertina traps/mines, but can be quicker, cheaper, quite effective & suits locking down compound with long range weapons as opposed to shotties. Etc.

PCs are cheap (for hunt you can get a really decent machine for little money) also no online payment...so in a year you will get your money back for sure :P and the community is really great

@4FSGaming why are never talking about movement mechanics which really matter the most in gunfights? I've seen ppl jiggle peeking, air strafing to evade or peek and baiting shots with not commiting to peeks just to re-peeking quick followed up with a crouch and flick shot. Seriously the gunfights in this game feel more and more like Call of Duty as time goes on.
Aim punch. Is one of the most frustrating mechanics. Ive lost close ranged fights with a shotgun and won them on the reverse end soley because of aim punch
I got hit by my first alarm trip mined red barrel the other day. I was shocked. I was angry. I've yet to look for any other trip mines near barrels since.
I love hunt and recently got addicted, my only gripe with this game is why in the fuck is the crosshair placement lower than the center of the screen. Can someone explain this?
