I love how they pick mid talent and I’m 12 turning 13 as a high school starting catcher and have thrown people I play travel hit 245 - 255 easily it’s just stupid if they don’t play higher than they should than I think they won’t learn enough in time
Catcher is by far the toughest position. The bigger kid will get quicker as he ages and will have the size/strength advantage. The smaller kid better be a hitter for average, otherwise he should move to infielder. Best of luck to both.
Awesome video good pointers to. My son catches for his travel team is there any tips u can give to build more arm strength . He is 10yrs old and kinda tall and skinny so doesn’t have much strength in arm but enough to get it to the bases. Any recommendations u can give will help thank you and keep the videos coming
RU-vid decided to feed me two videos about this kid today - one of him at age 10, and this one, and in both he looks like a normal-good kid catcher - nothing eye opening, and probably not better than the 2 catchers on my son's team. Glad he is having fun, and a solid player, but promoting the kid isn't gonna get him drafted or a D1 ride. - which COULD happen, pre-14 years old is mystery land, better to just keep quite and then see who gets lucky with growth spurts.
Not trying to be rude but why are u guys showing off kids who just play a sport. Y’all think these kids will end up in the NFL, NBA, MLB, or whatever sport league. Doesn’t mean this kids are good doesn’t mean they will 100% be in the highest league. Let’s look at Julian Newman for example. Everyone thought he was going to be the greatest PG ever and everyone was showing him off everywhere but doesn’t he make it to NCCA? Hmmmmmm nope does he make it to the NBA ? Hmmmmmm heck nah. Stop showing off kids who just play a sport acting like they are going to be at the highest level.
