The good:
History of extensive trail riding
Willow has fantastic hooves and is perfect for the farrier and vet
She comes to you so you can mount from anything and she stands perfectly
She has a lovely canter that is easy to get her into and out of
She has a lovely smooth gait, but is out of shape at the moment
She loads great into a trailer
Easy to catch and handle for anything
PERFECT ground manners
Stands perfectly and happy to walk off calmly
Not spooky
Very calm
Beautiful long mane and tail
The not so good:
She seems to have allergies to Texas. Watery/runny eyes
She has an old injury on a hind leg from the previous owner that the vet has assessed.
She has had colic twice in the last few months, possibly from dehydration. Unknown cause at this point.
She has been treated for EPM and has fully recovered.
I am showing for the owner who boards her at the barn I work out of. I did a few weeks of training on her last fall and she hasn’t been ridden since October before these videos.
She is out of shape.
Owner is selling because she isn't sure riding horses is for her.
