Damn serve is looking beastly! Rando question - saw you have contact solution on your desk, can I ask what brand contacts you use? Mine tend to blur up when I'm playing, not sure if you have a goto brand or not?

I use clear care. Used renu for years but eyes got a bit dry and irritated at the end of day. My eye Dr recommend clear care for me litterly just 3 weeks ago

Man when I did the serve challenge at Indian Wells I think my highest was like 95. Saw another guy after me use a pancake grip, body facing the target and he got like 105, maybe higher. On Swing Vision, one of my serves clocked like 135mph (pretty sure that was off too). Never know what radar to trust! Probably the speed gun or whatever you mentioned at the end is a good bet.

i have that radar: it is *very* tweaky and takes some time to figure out. of course it is possible that yours is not working correctly. it is also poor performing if the batteries are low... if the baseball pitchers are getting accurate speeds, then it means its ok. do let us know. the radar gun in your previous episode, why not use that again? also remember that *any* spin on the ball will reduce your top speed. hit flat bombs for highest speed.

On the intro - I always skip them so I went back and watched. Cool but not for me, don't like the spazzy deep fried kind of stuff. Honestly I'd be happy with flashing the logo for 2 seconds with some sound effect and getting into the video. Like I said I always skip stuff like that.

@@MPTennisThe SwingVision app is the only small and cheap solution that works. It isn't 100% reliable for any one single serve or shot, by any means, but if you're averaging the speed of ten shots, it's pretty good. I assume you've seen it -- works by measuring distance and time from contact to bounce, not radar. I'd love to see a video of you serving with that readout on the screen. Or have you already done that?

@@hillwellford9637 I have been using SwingVision for the last little bit and I agree with you however, I do think speeds are quite a bit off if you don't have the perfect set up with your camera, however all the other stats are amazing with it. The pocket radar is supposed to be used behind you. The reason why is reading so slow is because you’re capturing the velocity probably around the bounce on the serve line. I have one and it’s pretty accurate.
