Not every 1 series needs to be a horsepower king to get attention. This would have to be one of the most exciting, refined and pure engine swapped BMW's that we have ever driven.
There are a number of these that have been built around the world and we are simply trying to build as many as possible here in Australia as this is definitely a car any BMW driver should experience.

Hey mate, one of the most amazing conversion Ive ever seen. I have a 2010 E90 N52B30 330i in India (single owner - myself) and was wondering how much does it cost for this whole thing, roughly?

Wow amazing work. So of all other BMW engines that can be fitted on the E87 chassis, the S65 fits in there so beautifully. Can the same be done on the E87 chassis using the N54 or N55 motor?

Linda Benton yes the N54 / N55 engine into an E87 is very simple. In fact we have just done 1

How compatible is MS60 and the ECU in the 1-series??? I am planning on putting a M54 with MS43 in a 1-series and wonder if it will work

HI the MSS60 DME is very compatible with the E8x chassis. The MS43 DME is not. It could be made to work, but this is not something we have tried

We can supply a range of parts for this swap, the hardware is fairly straight forward. Its the wiring and coding that makes it a little more difficult, along with the hardware costs them selves. Around $50k AUD will get you drive in drive out

Does the e9x front subframe bolt up without modifications? how difficult is it to swap over the servotronic system? This would be an awesome swap for the future...

HI Graham, yes the E9x crossmember bolts right in without any mods. We have the servotronic all installed and working in our swaps

@@BrintechCustoms if you swap an s65 + the m3 manual trans, will you be able to use a 1 series shifter? I'm wondering if the shifter location will remain the same for the n54+gs6-53dz and s65+gs6-53dz. I know the bellhousings are different, but could I use a cae 135i shifter in the swap? Very curious about how well everything goes together. Thanks!

Finally! really waiting for the new series! You're cool! Amazing work! Hello from Russia, I own 120 E87 and really want to make the same swap. Could you tell me what difficulties can arise? why did you change the engine mounts?

Hello over there in Russia. I must visit someday! If you need any help please email us cars@brintech.com.au. We are happy to answer anything you want to ask. The engine is still mounted on V8 brackets and rubbers, it is also installed with the M3 subframe / cradle.

@@TheP12 Yes the Complete E92 M3 subframe will bolt into the 1 series chassis. Including the steering rack, hubs brakes and suspension
