For those wondering, the stinger clamps to the end of the tig lead, the argon is directly hooked to the torch and a valve handled tig torch is used to control flow. This turns any ac or dc stick welder into a scratch start tig.
@@TheWeldLab Honestly, i believe you did the weld but it was also annoying to not be able to see you actually welding. I get you are at a job and dont have a tripod or time, but seeing you welding with it would go a long way in helping people believe you. Also, I dig you as a host and will watch more videos, but when doing reviews please be upfront with what you get in the box and what you have to purchase on top of the welder itself to do the welds you are showing off. People are going to buy that thinking they can start learning when you have to add a tig torch set up and the gas that is required to tig weld. Still a solid video and will subscribe for more! If you are ever financially able, i would love to see a review on a 4 in 1 stick/mig/tig/fluxcore welder. Thanks for the video!
You should review that DekoPro welder. It’s runs at about $135 on Amazon. It’s a stick welder but I heard you can also Tig with it. I have that lil machine, just don’t have the equipment to try it out with Tig.
I don’t have an ig but I watch all your videos. Keep up the good work. You should review different stingers for people that are trying to get into the welding scene.

Was the 135amp measured or the display setting? Bought the smaller Yesweld165A and it measured max out amps at 140+ with 1/8 7018. The welder display setting said 165. That was too hot and turned it down to 120A measured out which was 140 on the display setting. great vid!

Rico you r Badass! Would love to see a review on the $135 Hone Arc Welder 185 amp stick/lift tig machine. seems legit, i did pick one up for myself to start my welding journey. Seemed like a good bang for the buck and was available with good amazon reviews. plus it claims to do 6010. Since you r the king of 6010, it would be awesome to see you work that machine and give a honest review in the field. Also when those blucollar frc shirts gona be back in stock, they look fresh. If you want a very good cheap welder get the primeweld 160st. It's $200 and has a 60% duty cycle. It's about the same size as that one. Has a 3 year warranty and the company has the best customer service i have ever seen if you have a problem they will do their best to take care of you. I haven't ran 6010 on mine but it's a beast with 6011. But also most inverter machines don't have enough open voltage to run a 6010 rod. I haven't been able to over heat it yet. If you want a good lil welder to take out and run out in the field get tge primeweld 160st. I love mine I've done a lot of repairs with it on tractors, implements, trailers and heavy equipment.
Wtf brah your a really good welder it’s not the machine it’s the welder I’ve been a cutting hair for over 17 years and believe me it’s the barber not the machine. But yo I really wish you’d show more of you working with the welder instead of the finish product. Either way super sick welds.

Here in Thailand everything is from China,a foot petal is never used here. I just wish the voltage was stable here. It makes welding here a true adventure!

Wow man you should try to build a small welding table something simple but usefull. I don't own one but I know forsure that will be my first project I really want to learn how to weld. Nice welds by the way 👌
Loved the video! What would you reccomend to guys on a budget that buy this welder for upgrades to it? Stingers, ground clamps, longer leads, extension cord? Or just run it like it is? I would also recommend a disclaimer at the begging of videos like this to not watch it where the wife can hear. Now she really doesn't understand why I need/want an engine drive. 🤣
Bro I am no one to talk but the welder should go to someone commited who is trying to learn how to weld. Like I said I am nobody but it's a nice gift for a new cat trying to get into the trade

I think work boots would be a good review. Welders are always looking for good boots that are comfortable or last longer than 6 months. I would dig this welder. I live in an apartment and it's not loud enough to bother the neighbors if I'm on my porch practicing.
