I think the exhaust may be holding that PP back a bit..

I see a few guys run this type of setup and they seem to lean towards an ECU that controls the fuel and a (NOT) a ECU that controls the ignition. Is there a particular reason for this?

Ah... The good old days with uncomplicated NA rotary engines. I can't even see the 13b engine block in my 1994 FD (RX7). I might be willing to give up my turbos for an extra rotor. Of course, this is all talk and no action. I don't think I could butcher up my baby. Not that there's anything wrong with modding RX7s, it's just not my thing. Baby/reversable mods for me -- intake, cooling and exhaust kind of stuff. :-)
