The 13th Squadron Mini A6M Zero is the plane for every purpose. The Zero is extremely maneuverable and capable of performing all the basic acrobatics maneuvers. The Zero is very stable because of its under camber wing tips which allow for great stall characteristics. The Zero can fly low and slow, or turn and burn with speed. It is easy to build with minimal parts, and goes together fast. If you are looking for a plane to put in the back seat, to take anywhere, the 13th Squadron Mini A6M Zero is the right choice for you.

I've never seen anyone do that with the iron.. I really like the way it makes the plane look. This was a long vid but it actually went really quick. Thank you for all the work you did and making the plans available for all us. looking forward to the next plane you both come up with.. great job! would be nice to see you all fly it,

Unfortunately, probably not. I tend to favor the newer and more fine tuned designs when it comes to build videos. That's one of the main reasons I was able to create a build video for the Zero. Low part count, not a lot of time with school going on, and not much space.

Would you say 16in pushrods be long enough for this? Also I am assuming the mighty mini ft firewalls should match the dimensions of the power pod?

Yep! Those should work. The FT Mini firewalls and control horns are what I used in my build.

What kind of foam board did you use for this project? I am looking forward to start this as my first plane but I am having a hard time to find what materials should I use. Thank you!

We usually use the Flite Test Brown Foamboard but you should be able to use Dollar Tree Foamboard also.

@13thSquadron is there any way of knowing the right scale on the plans? Flite test plans have an inch line that you line up with a ruler. I'm printing with standard 8.5/11 paper and planning on splitting it up with the full plans with the poster function on adobe reader.

@@theoj4997 We will have to add that, but a good way without that is find a piece that has a tab, and the tab should be 5mm tall.

Unfortunately I do not plan on making a complete build video on the Hellcat. However, I am working on time-lapse of the Hellcat build to try and help.

All of the pieces I use is all hand cut with a number eleven exacto knife.

At the moment, I do not plan to build another Hellcat, but I do have a time-lapse of about half the build. I am just trying to figure out how to show how the last half gets done.
