Great little session that. Any older coins would be quite well preserved in that mud/sand mix. Have you just got the nox now? I'm trying to work out if i should upgrade my Minelab Safari to a nox. Dont think there would be a massive difference though.

5 Minute Man Yes that was the Equinox 800. I still have the Excal 2 as well. The mud does preserve coins and artefacts well. Similar to the Thames foreshore. I'd have liked some pre decimal ones but sadly not on this occasion. Thanks for watching. Jason.

Quality video again. Are you in Kent? I have the same scoop as you but my 35mm ash handle is about to die, I see yours is quite new could you tell me where you bought it and the cost? I have the Equinox 800 and find it very good on land and beach, my first beach hunt I had three rings one gold, one silver and a modern day new fanged metal one, plus lots of coins mainly from the wet sand.......I’m in Kent......cheers Rob.

Robert Radford Hi. No I'm not in Kent mate. Bucks. My handle is a cut down boat hook. I had a couple given to me by a friend. This is the last one so after this I'll get carbon fibre. Cheers. Jason.

@slave2damachine
@slave2damachine 5 лет назад
@@RustyRecovery the coil stem (bottom piece ) is already carbon minelab sent me the new one piece carbon shaft to replace the two upper steel pieces but its not the best . i had problems connecting the old to the new and it has the same old ball pin and screw tight connecting system .if you can afford it i would go for one with cam locks which are strong and quick to ajust the stem .Hope that helps GL & HH

Just an update on 35mm handles very strong and very cheap.....2 for £20 inc VAT and come with nice foam handles, most places are £35 for one plain handle. I hope this helps! www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Post-Hole-Digger---1480mm/p/190347

Rusty Recovery just looked at the link for the sand scoop I guess he isn’t selling any at the moment as the link didn’t bring anything up. I don’t suppose you know the sellers Ebay seller name so I can look him up and save his seller name? Thanks

Just a casual observer but how many hours do you put to get that haul?
@RustyRecovery
@RustyRecovery 5 лет назад
I think I was there about 4-5 hours in total. It was hard work as its more mud than sand.
