Thank you RR for sharing this video, like it, obviously it is fair and not fake video. BH is also my favorite style of hunting, on my first day out with my Nox 800 I dug so deep, lot deeper than with my old Sovereign GT, can't wait for upcoming 7 days Northern Sardegna and then 7 days Cote d'Azure vacation with my Nox. Good luck with your Minelab
What I love about this video is that it's the kind of days I loved with my e trac lol . Good old honest detecting film . Well done and I'll be saving up for the 800 now Elliott
Thanks for the video. Some really deep digs there ! Like you reading out the screen numbers---as for the bottle caps, I will be inclined to dig until I"m bullet proof sure I"m not missing keepers. Still waiting for my 800---can"t wait !!! Most of my digs are on the beach----my Deus will find its way on Ebay.
Not a bad search for this time of the year at that place . I have had my Nox 800 for a few weeks now and it has done well . I have had 6 trips out and all 6 trips have produced Gems , 1 Gold included . I started with beach 1 in factory setting but didn't like it so have changed all the settings and now i have it right where i want it. Beach 2 will be changed too , just changed the Park 1 to a 10 khts version of Beach 1 so i can use it like a 705 on the dry in the Summer. Or maybe just to see if it can match the 705 , bet it wont !! But all in all i am happy with the Nox and have ordered another , must have a backup in case.
Great video and finds to go with it. I'm always in two minds whether to go out at the moment as the beaches here are sanded in. Going to get windy and hopefully wavey this week ☺
kinda the same we are finding this new heater in use......quiet....fast and deep on the beach.....loves deep caps.....i believe we have a great new heater in our hands - see ya soon - good luck
gravediggermax Thanks Max. I think the Equinox is going to be great. As you say the recovery is fast and there's no doubt that it goes deep. It amazed me how sensitive it is on such tiny targets. Thanks for watching buddy. GL. Jason.
If you are unsure if it might be a bottle cap, click the all metal mode, and swing above it if the signal breaks up a lot then you'll have a bottle cap and can ignore it.
Really interesting video and very helpful. I'd love to get an Equinox but it's outside my budget for now. West Wittering looks like a great beach so I may take a drive down sometime with my Ace 250. Can I ask, which sand scoop are using? I am also currently considering buying one. Thanks.
Hi ther buddy can you tell me what you are using for the settings, have you just gone along with the factory settings or have you done something different cheers
Anthony Thomas Hi mate. I'm not sure what settings I used in this video. Probably 5 tones. However I now use 50 tones, all metal ( I find listening to iron tone helps pick out higher good tones ). Sensitivity always about 20. Iron bias 2. Recovery 5. Cheers Jason.
There are icons on the right of the screen running vertically. Each icon when illuminated represents 2". So, 4 icons means you got to dig a deep hole lol . Of course, this is not always the case. It's not 100% perfect but pretty good. Thanks Jason
One of the reasons i have bought the Equinox is its ability to identify non-ferrous targets that are sat right next to ferrous. The Excal is a great detector but it nulls over iron ( unless you are in all metal ) so if you have a good target sat next to iron you will stand a very good chance of missing it. Thanks for watching. Jason
I always use headphones on the beach. It attracts too much unwanted attention if you don't. Trouble is the wireless phones aren't waterproof and I certainly wasn't going to keep removing an ear cup for each signal covering them in wet / sand. I believe i explained that at the round up. Cheers
the pound at the 10:25 mark i have had similar experience. i think the coin fell into the bottom of the hole on last scoop and machine could not detect it. i subscribed. please check out my youtube videos. thanks
