C'est par hasard que j'ai pris connaissance de cette triste nouvelle en navigant sur You Tube. Je n'en trouve pas trace dans la presse française, c'est scandaleux; si jeune, si talentueuse, son destin est trop cruel, trop injuste. Seule consolation : elle nous laisse sa voix merveilleuse

Unfortunately, this beautiful, young and extremely talented lady passed away the day before yesterday, 1/10/2023 at the age of 25. She lost her battle with the disease, but she will live on in us forever!

This is the only version I've heard sung as a duet in harmony, and this pair blend their voices well. I play it repeatedly for the wonderful harmonies. And I greatly admire Patricia J. I do wonder if the Slovak version retains the curious sentiments of the original: the celebration of David's adulterous love for Bathsheba, David ensuring that her husband would be killed in battle so that he could take her as wife.
