Born on June 18, 1998 in Münchberg, Bavaria, to Slovak parents, Patricia Janečková grew up and lived in Ostrava, Moravia-Silesia, where she took singing lessons from a very young age.
When she was 12 years old, she won the Czech-Slovak television contest Talentmania, organized during the second half of 2010 by the Czech television channel TV Nova and Slovak TV Markiza. She triumphed in front of no less than 10,000 participants, winning a prize of 150,000 euros.
This victory represented a springboard for her career as an opera singer and actress, brilliant, but too short: on October 1, 2023, Patricia Janečková died of breast cancer, at the age of 25.
Née le 18 juin 1998 à Münchberg, en Bavière, de parents slovaques, Patricia Janečková a grandi et vécu à Ostrava, en Moravie-Silésie, où elle a suivi, depuis toute petite, des cours de chant.
Alors qu’elle était âgée de 12 ans, elle a remporté le concours télévisé tchéco-slovaque Talentmania, organisé durant le second semestre 2010 par les chaînes de télévision tchèque TV Nova et slovaque TV Markiza. Elle a triomphé devant pas moins de 10.000 participants, remportant ainsi un prix de 150.000 euros.
Cette victoire a représenté un tremplin pour sa carrière de chanteuse d’opéra et de comédienne, brillante, mais trop courte : le 1er octobre 2023, Patricia Janečková est morte d’un cancer du sein, à l’âge de 25 ans.
