I can‘t wait to get my hands on this beauty! I had the 13“ MBP 2017 base model until recently and as an apple kid I hate to admit it sucked. Besides the pretty design it was slow, loud and only had a 128GB SSD. After a lot of research I decided to go for the MBP 14“ and spend a more money so that I would be happy with my purchase for the next few years. Also I really really love that they brought back Magsafe and more ports. I absolutetly hated only having 3 USB C ports. The silver color is a classic and I think I‘ll get the silver one :) Great review!

I feel ya! I used to use a 2018 MacBook Pro and it was such a pain to use. You’ll enjoy the new MacBook a ton I’m sure! Congrats on the pickup

As a coder, I won't take up the 1TB, what type of work would take 2TB? or is the ahead of time choice since we can't modify the soldered hardware ìf needed?

I like your videos! I have a question your monitor is a 60HZ one and does it function with the new HDMI 2.1 that you can use the 120Hz (Pro Motion) on your Monitor too? It seems like that in the video. Thanks a lot for an answer!

Thank you so much!! My monitor can actually go 4k 120hz (LG C2 OLED) over HDMI with 2.1… it’s a simple plug and play with both the monitor and MacBook supporting HDMI 2.1

Ok that's interesting and would you say just this feature with 120Hz also on your Monitorscreen working in Finalcut and so on is worth an Upgrade to a M2 Pro? I know it's difficult to answer but it's hard for me right now too. I have an M1 Pro 13" make a little bit of Final Cut and Recording Audio in Logic.

I wonder, what will be the use case of 96 GB RAM, I don't think it would be for one time operation where many virtual OS, or dockers are running. And how the laptop will behave with such load(I mean thermal)

yeah its definitely a lot of ram, like you said there would have to be a lot virtual stuff going on at the same time to take advantage of all that ram... but the fact that its even possible to get 96GB in a laptop is crazy!
