I was just told at 44 years old that I have ADHD. After being told I was lazy , not listening , day dreaming , no motivation , no ambition and gifted . After starting medication I can hold a conversation , I can focus on one task at a time . And finish it! I have energy to go to the gym! That thing that needed to be cleaned for so long , got cleaned .

How cool to think we could all have a unique view that others cannot replicate and that it has insight that others don't have.

Very interesting talk that brought me a needed perspective on the way people think differently. It also brought questions to me about the way my own mind works. While I don't think I'm on the spectrum I see similarities in the way I think to a neurodiverse mind.

there are a lot of similarities Dan. especially as the pace of life "speeds up" and gets "more interconnected." The more this occurs, the more often we will see neurotypical people feeling a lot like or resonating with neurodiverse people (and wanting to claim it as a "disorder"). The difference is, as I say in the podcast, how much damage its doing (historically) to your life. By way of example, alcohol, in and of itself, isn't a problem, unless it is ;-) ...then we call it alcoholism.

Enjoyed the video🙌 Btw I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, While watching I noticed a few opportunities to improve the video, I've prepared a short video outlining some tips. Mind if I sent it over?
