Let me ask you one question if you don't mind. If I understand well, you connected the positive from your power supply to both your test light and the bulb. The other wire of the bulb goes to the drain of the mosfet (or injector input of the board) and then ground the source of the mosfet back to your power supply. Am I correct?
@VoltageDropDiagnostics
@VoltageDropDiagnostics 3 года назад
Yup, that is correct. The this particular transistor turns on when power is applied to the gate. So I had to hook my test light up to power. Thanks for watching! And super observant as well!

Awesome! I had an 2007/2008 model Tundra, customer came in with 1 shift solenoid code, code would not clear and would set with key on. Having a scope, and most importantly, knowing how to use a scope is critical. That said, as a cost effective method - what about using a $35 O2/exhaust gas detector? If those cylinder heads are cracked, wouldn't there also be warpage, too (I take it the engine overhead?)? Lastly, is this the 1MZ?

Yikes... My bad. I caught it (that I posted comment to the wrong video) only after I commented. In the correct video, you used a scope (on two different channels) and a pressure transducer to see possible power pulses in the coolant. I think it was an older Toyota pick-up (or Forerunner?). At the end of the video, you removed the heads which showed a crack between the intake and exhaust valves. I tried to find the video, but couldn't.
