THANK YOU!!!!!! I have been trying to find a fix for my radio for years.. Called UConnect cuz I thught it was a software issue. Many threads on various sites with folks complaining of the same problem, but no solution. Also called Jeep and was told they had no idea what was wrong... Got rid of Satellite radio cuz I had no radio in 2020 (after stupidly paying for a couple years thinking we'd figure it out)... My husband found this video and he solved the problem!!!! My radio, phone, cd player all work!! AMazing....really thank you!!
Anyone know if the ecm on a 2005 gmc canyon has a eeprom or if its inside the micro chip? And if it has a eeprom what the eeprom number would be? Gm only put house numbers on the chips and cant find a conversion chart.
Gr8 video, my 96 Camry never threw a code, I noticed my engine idling slightly rougher then a day or two later my brake pedal started feeling harder. Replaced booster, fixed both issues 👍😉
Thanks so much for the info. I just had the same thing happen on my 04 highlander. As soon as I touched the pin inside the connector it broke off because of the corrosion. You saved me a ton of time!
Thank you for this great explanation. I have a 12 Prius in the shop now and had the same issue. Unplugged the ABS module and the lights turned off. Many thanks!
I have an 06 solara same code, I have replaced the PCV valce, ignition coils, MAF sensor, o2 sensor, pcv hose, smoked for vacuum leak and still cant get rid of code! Never thought of break booster as a probable cause!
Now the funny part, I have a 2010 Chevy Aveo5 LT hatchback. It has this strange problem, when I park the car for an hour or 2 the car lost communication it shows P0700, U0100, and U0073 codes. It starts right up if I turn the ignition on and off couples of time. I have changed the Instrument Cluster and TCM butt still the issue is same. Communication get restored as soon as the car gets started and all I have to do is turn the ignition on and off few times to get the communication back. Can you please help me with this?
Hi, you really made my day, I had the same issue with my Ford Focus and I did the same thing with my CAN wires. I was figuring it out for days now and right after watching your video I went to see my car and it had the same wire stuck at the same place lol... My car is running and driving perfect now all thanks to you! Keep up the good work!
Thanks much for the detailed explanation. My front left had same issue. The rust was like weldered in - seem built that way. It was so hard to grind - the grinder did not fit in from down below. Chisel had worked very well, one tap had taken out the rust completely. Problem resolved.
Having the same issue in my 2010 corolla, leaking water, cleared the drain line of about 4 cups of water. Replaced the downstream o2 sensor, unplugged the battery for about half an hour and the lights were gone. 3 starts later, check engine light, flashing vsc light. Any thoughts? Codes were p0138,P0607, c1201 and c1241
