This is a 1436 Alumacraft jon boat. I'm just playing around and showing the stability of a 36" wide bottom on a jon boat. The riveted aluminum hull is 14 ft long.
I have fished 300~320 pounds on the front deck. That's the combined weight of my brother and I. I believe the rear of the boat lifts up a little out of the water when we do, but we still do it and have not experienced any issues doing so.
I believe the boat is stable for a jon boat. Its what I'm used too. I choose to stick with a hull that is narrower because the longtail mud motors like the hulls that way.

+ my weight of 145lb = 540lbs for everything
