15 Advanced Adjectives to Describe People and Build Your Vocabulary 

To be frank with you, I am really tempted to be persistent in learning English since I often stop trying a few days later after working hard on improving my advanced vocabulary. Well, and when it comes to talking about my personality, people often think of me as an affable guy. Well, if I think of myself, I think I am an introvert because I don't really enjoying meeting new people and like to be quiet, but when I am with my friends, I can be a bit chatty and even boisterous sometimes. And at work, I am often viewed as a person who has a unassuming manner that's why most of my colleagues like me.

Of all the english instructors in you tube in my opinion you are unassuming without being too cocky unlike others and by saying this it is intimidating that they will get angry and bombard me with comments but still i will be persistent in my stance and say you are the best teacher i have ever seen😅

English vocabulary is very easy to learn when we are french. The majority of those words exist in french so we just have to add an english terminaison to french words and then we have a lot of vocabulary. (Cynique/Cynical pretentieux/pretentious intimidant/intimidating franc/frank persistant/persistent pragmatique/pragmatic vaniteux/vain. I love to discover all those words that I use in french but i didn't even know they existed in english haha !

Thanks a million for this ADVANCED words serious ! There are just myriads of videos for English beginner on the whole RU-vid and much less videos for advanced learners. I do love the way you explaining words. Please keep doing the advanced words serious. If this serious can be kept rolling out, it will definitely differentiate your channel from the others. ( I am suggesting this as a marketer as well as English learner.) Maybe even set up a new channel for this ? if you are going to roll it out on a more frequent and regular basis. If you are considering make more videos like this and having trouble finding word lists, please do tell me. I would love to share my secret word lists though they are not secret at all. :D

I rarely comment in any videos in youtube, but becuase I have learned a lot from this video, I would love to comment here by describing myself using the adjectives just learnt from here. I am a boisterous person, that is how people close to me describe me using different words similar to this adjective. I am chatty, i'd love to talk and chat with my friends in an informal way but I can never be a good public speaker I guess because I become klutz whenever I try to do so. I am diplomatic somehow. In our workplace, I think I am also pragmatic.

Hi Wes. I love movies and I'd like to use some of the vocabularies to describe the characters. I don't know if you had watched them but if you had, I'd love to hear from you. How I met your mother: After drinking 2 bottles of Tantrum, Ted and Marshall became 'boisterous'. Barney is always 'persistent' in picking up gullible women. Ted is so 'prententious' when talking about architecture and poems. The Hobbit: The Dragon guarding the castle looks 'intimitating'. Harry Potter: Dumbledore is 'pragmatic' when it comes to dealing the problems in the school. I love Luna Lovegood. She is 'unassuming' and 'affable'. Mr. Bean's holiday. Unexpected incidents always happened along his journey because of his clumsiness. He is such a klutz.
