Sadly Square Enix had unrealistic sales expectations for Sleeping Dogs. It sold 1.75 million copies within a couple of months, but the company expected sales well north of 2 million and called it a "failure" (Even more shocking, Tomb Raider sold 3.4 million and Hitman Absolution sold 3.6 million and were also considered failures by the company - it was so bad the president of Square Enix actually resigned). Those "poor" game sales led to canceling the proposed Sleeping Dogs 2.

Yeah for me it had an outstanding charm into it that it was pretty much developed by like 40 to 50 people in a game company that we dint even heard about it. Their names are Asobo and i think with the budget that they had they made a really dang good game at that. And apparently i heard rumors that their even making a sequel for it

I sorta "found" Mad Max a while after it came out, and picked it up for about $10 thinking "if it sucks, I'm only out $10." And holy crap...easily one of my favorite games for my ps4. This is game I go back and play about once a year. Such an underrated game.

It's also not just a ps4 game it was released on all consoles when it came out ps3 Xbox 360 steam. Alien: Isolation is a 2014 survival horror video game developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega originally for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. I don't count Nintendo when it comes to these types of games cause usually they can't handle the graphics. also with how much it was loved when it came out I don't feel it was underrated at all there's tons of videos about it more than some titles that weren't considered underrated. I feel now a days it isn't underrated the ratings are good its completely over looked for one of the best survival horror genres

@@nottoday9182 It's called cult status, yeah the game is not obscure, many will know about it, very few will tell you they have tried it. You'd be amazed how many people have never seen, not once, movies like Citizen Kane, Psycho, The Shining, Seven Samurai, For a fistful of Dollars etc. They might know the actors who played on it, a famous line or two, or some trivia from them but that's about it.

Kingdom Come took so long to get used to, but I loved it so much once I figured it out. Beautiful world design, great NPC cast. Can’t wait for the sequel though because the story ended way too abruptly.

It's a game I can easily recommend, I still remember the Lyvan fight and the ending. It maybe short, but super enjoyable and the characters are likeable.

The one thing I don't like about the order is that you cant skip cutscene Obviously I watch cutscenes from beginning to end because I'm a sucker for a good story Like lore and I like knowing more but like I can't replay the game coz of the cutscenes

So stoked to see Prey and Plague Tale getting mentions! I absolutely loved those titles. One game that I think gets overlooked is Vampyr - It's imperfect for sure, and it took a minute for me to care about the characters, but once it clicked I really really enjoyed it.

Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition is such a great game. If you haven't played it you definitely need too. It also comes with like 22 or 23 DLCs. Almost all the DLCs are great too and are actually used and played.

Yeah and its sad because EA idiosly released it at the same time when BField1 and COD: Infinite Warfare came in the marketing and that was the mayor issue on why it dint sold to much, which is a dang shame because the game itself was far superior and better than the first one and we probably will never gonna get another Titanfall game because EA as always ruins everything and said that "oh titanfall sold poorly so i guess we'll not going to tell respawn entertainment to make another one"

@Patrick Ayotte Hey man, I found that game so difficult! I tried on easy and then rise the difficulty all the way to the hardest and notice no difference, It was way too challenging for me... Yet, little by little, getting to each save station by havens grace, feeling despair at each step of the way I finished Alien Isolation at its hardest. So rewarding. What a beautiful game

I've just started Kingdom Come Deliverance and although it's not for everyone (and many will be put off by the first few hours) I'm really starting to get into it! It's a bit rough around the edges but I'm totally immersed! As for this list- Return Of The Obra Dinn would be in mine! Amazing experience.

I'm not afraid to admit that some of the stories in "what remains of Edith Finch" hit me REALLY hard. Without spoiling anything, the one about the todler being difrent animals, the one about the storm and the umbrella, and the one about the teenager who daydreamed all day were gut wrenching once you understand the curse

The one that sticks with me is the brother who daydreamed... just the way the game TELLS that story was amazing. I recommend the game to everyone but so far only got one person to play it (who agreed that it was incredible)

I have Abzu, Alien Isolation & Titanfall 2 in my library but I am yet to play them. I’ll be looking at Sleeping Dogs because I like the idea of fighting crime in Hong Kong. I also believe it would make for some interesting videos / edits 😂 Great video man ❤

When I got my ps4 the only 2 games I got with it were Bloodborne and Xrd Sign. Guilty Gear is the most slept on fighting series so it's great to hear if mentioned here. And Titanfall 2 was a supremely underrated, purely enjoyable game. Great choices.

No, I remember how everyone criticized it for how bland and short the game is especially as a game that was hyped up and is supposed to be a first party playstation icon. I loved it, the story, the characters, the voice acting wer all incredible imo .It could've been special, but due to the overall negative to mixed reception of the game they gave up on it. The studio behind it Ready at Dawn I think it's called is not working with Sony anymore and I feel if anyone was to be working on a sequel it should've been announced like a long time ago.

Prey! I LOVE Prey so much. I still replay it from time to time and it's one of 2 games I have platinum for. Also what remains of Edith Finch is a game that breaks my heart and I just can't replay it.

Great list! Mad max game was absolutely underrated. After about 30mins I was hooked, as the beginning is a bit forgettable but the rest is fantastic and fits perfectly into the mad max world. Firewall is also my favourite psvr game so great list!
