So there have been a lot of superstitious pull videos going around, including the one I created by mistake when I was pulling in the May Atlantis portal. Pretty much everything is based off silly gimmicks, but there is one method that seems more scientific by comparison. The "Censure Method" claims to increase your odds of pulling a 5*, so does it work? Let's go through the steps down to the letter and see what happens.
I can say it is a total pain in the butt to follow through with this method but I will let the video speak for itself.

My method is to say out loud to the RNG gods when the portal is changing colours that I have been a good girl followed by "please, please, please, please, any 5 star!!!" 😜

I was watching the video of the other guy talking about this method and he mentioned STOP means do not pull any longer for at least 20 minutes in order for the RNG to reset. Never tried this method, don't know if i will but it is intriguing. Thanks for covering this.

Pretty sure he just completely made up that number. I went straight to the source for this and the source is a bit vague. Instead of waiting I just forced closed the app as a hard reset for connectivity to the server 👍🏻

I have to thank you. I used this method and on the first day ( not long after Valhalla started ) and I pulled both Norns and Skadi in the same ten pull. I've never been so excited in my life!!! I'm not sure if my alliance team members will follow what you have advised but I hope they do as I can see the potential for them to get better pulls. Especially, since we don't spend a lot of money. Some of us spend no money at all and doing tasks/ completing stage three is slow going at the best of times. I'm using this every chance I've got before SG pull this from us too. We all know they pulled the watchtower trick from us. DATOR and UCLA showed us that one and SG swooped in and removed it. I'm hoping that SG don't twig onto this too much. I'd like to get a couple of better *4 star heroes than what I've already got so far. Anyway, huge thank you for all my pulls I've received lately after listening to you.

Loved the video. Probably the greatest advantage to using the method is reducing spending to only those times when, if you assume RNG "streakiness" is running high. This also helps reduce the number of "emotional" or "desperation" summons that lead to overspending. So, the method is multifactorial, but only if you first act under the assumption of RNG streakiness in the game. One last thing: You forgot the Tinfoil hat!

Are you the man himself? I appreciate the added perspective and I definitely agree that reducing the number of pulling windows can reduce spending overall, which is for the best. And, it worked for me, so who said I wasn’t wearing a tinfoil hat 😉🖖🏻

This makes sense to me. I doubt the heroes are all on a conveyor belt waiting to be pulled. I've always noticed 'hot streaks' and this seems like the best way to test it. I've got Baldur, Norns, Thorne, Gazelle, Kong & Costume Elena from following this. My videos aren't as complete as yours. The last 3x were from free coins.

This thing definitely works. Thank you so much for this video. I am a f2p player. Playing since a long time. Just had 1 5 star seshat. Now since using this method, I’ve pulled yang mai, elradir and just pulled Devana yesterday with single epic hero tokens. Not even 2 epic hero tokens. The good streak/bad streak definitely is a thing. Thanks for this video.

One huge rule of pulling: If you pull a 5 star, special HOTM at your first or first couple of pulls - STOP. That is not the start of a winning streak, it was just luck.

Did that today when I pulled Guan Yu in two pulls w/ tokens so I straight stopped. I'll go again later but I don't believe it's ever the start of a hot streak!

And again last night when I pulled Xnolphod with the 6/7 tokens I had left. Got him and stopped. Maybe just a month long inbetween pulls kinda hot🔥streak?!?! Lol. Thank you very much, Sir! See you next time!🤝 You'd think it would be the other way around and you should pull when you get a 5*, but in all seriousness...DO STOP! It's not worth continuing unless you just gotta use the rest of your tokens(which you shouldn't unless you're chasing(which you also shouldn't do!)) 🤣 Just be smart. That said. I've used the method only when I have enough free and spare event tokens as well as the ability to pull at least 10x and I have been living in a state of incredible E&P luck OR just a steady stream of incredible luck and RNG craziness if you don't believe in the method of course. I just figured I'd mention because I've pulled over 25 new 5* and a ton of dupes(especially HOTM of course) and not just bad ones or season 1 heroes. I'm talking the AthenaC, Lady Loki, Inari, Konshu, Xnolphod, El Naddaha, Seshat, Kara, Arfanias, Sylvaria, Vivica, Joon, Domitia, Dr. Moreau and more types. A ton I've missed that are great I jist cannot think of then all. Like I said before, if you can do it, then give it a try as it won't cost you anything but free tokens until you get to your final step begore a 10x or 30x pull and you only need an event or epic hero token for. So not much needed or asked of you except your patience and yo follow the rules/method to a T. Don't get excited and do a 10x pull because the first step worked or you jist wanted and then you blame the method after you didn't get anything. Heard a bunch of stories where I had to ask the person if they used the event token in the last step or if they used the free token twice. Those steps are there for a reason so stick to them or don't use the method until you can!

Good video mate. I think and what they actually say is that the probability that is put up on the portals are for individual summons meaning the rates are not for bunch of summons but one. I will try my luck as you have explained in the video though! :) keep up the good work

one more point regarding chameleon that I noticed during the event, when he changed my hero colors my troops changed with it and they became 1 star troops for all of my heroes, and I would assume that this will happen during raid and war hits, what do you think about it?

@@MrSpock it’s that little animation when you make a match and your troops comes out and attacks the heroes on the other side, when that happens you will notice they are the 1 star troops due to chameleon effect

In a Reddit post someone ran a simulation with 10.000 pulls w/o and 10.000 pulls with this method. There were NO difference. My personal experience (it works) is different: Since 2 years ago I always used this method and made statistics for the first 1½ years. The results for a 5* were: 1/34 (better than the normal 1/40) if HotM could be drawn in the portal. 1/65 (better than the normal 1/80) if HotM could NOT be drawn in that portal. Normally the chance for a 5* should be 1/80 plus another 1/80 (totalling 2/80 = 1/40) when HotM can also be drawn. So different from the Reddit poster's huge simulation my own experience shows a sizeable difference, about +15%, for the better. Yet a lot of luck/ unluck is involved. I've drawn 160 times without a single 5*. Other times I got many. I do agree to those who say: "When you're lucky and got something then STOP." You can't count on the luck to go on and on.

March-April 2024: My success rate in the last 100 pulls over the last month has been about 10 percent using my own method. I got 2 Anoushkas, 3 Zargas Ultrox, Tenebrae, Blossom, Garten, and Ramona. Way lucky IMO that it spit out the last two. I suppose my way is less effective than the method suggested here, though. My method is ALWAYS relog after any purchase of coins. I try not to buy them anymore and just stock up on the free ones, but I have noticed my luck is way better if I relog after purchase as opposed to using the coins the moment I purchase them. I also test using individual event coins and if the result looks bad, I relog. Seems like it would be better to use the silver coins as the test. I was not aware of the method in this video, but I will try it. To me, I interpret "STOP" as "RELOG" to reset your RNG. When you did it a 3rd time in this video, you did not adhere to the rules bc you were only supposed to do 10x twice before stopping (relogging). The rules were suggesting the window of 5* luck is within 20 draws, and you did not reset your RNG after the 2 10x pulls.

Hey man, i want to thank you for your videos! it's fun to watch and very helpful. But i have a question. Do you have any idea how step 3 ll work on TAVERN event. Without 3* and 4* special heroes (like atlantis etc) your chances to proceed to fourth step are limited to only getting a 5* on step 3.

Honestly chameleon could have more viability as a tank if they flipped the color change to what you are "weak" against instead of "strong" against to make color stacking a little more risky.

Does this still work if u try a single instead of a multi? and also does it have to be a token or it could possibly be the free summon u get everyday

I do this all the time but there is one part of the step you are missing. When it tells you to stop you need to wait 1 hour. You don't just start over again. Do your first pull with your free token and try to get a troop or 3* hero and if you don't get one wait an hour. If you do get a troop or 3* hero you can immediately use another free token and try to get a 2nd troop or 3* hero. If you do not get a troop or 3* hero on the 2nd pull wait an hour and try again for your 2nd troop or 3* hero. Sometimes it can take me an entire day to pull that second hero or troop I need. After you have got both of your free troops/heroes move on to step three and try to pull an event hero. If you get a 3* event hero that would be the time to do your 10 pull but if you don't wait an hour and do another single event pull. This a long and tedious process but that's how you get your 5* hero. I want a big fat shout out the moment that you see that it works.

That wasn't in the published instructions I found. Also, wouldn't you think that after waiting the hour you would need to start over and pull two troops instead of just one? Additionally, if you don't get your event hero don't you think you need to start over with troops?

Ever notice that there's a slight delay between pulling and the hero popping up for those? I've always been under the assumption that the silver token and TC1-19 pulls were determined by the game's local RNG, but all other tokens/pulls (including TC20) were determined by their server's RNG.

EnP is really smart. They got people out there doing single pulls instead of saving for 30 pulls, which is the only real way to get max value and increased odds of getting a legendary hero.

It’s a toss up. If you pull a hero in 5 singles it sure beats committing to a 30x. Ultimately, 10x and 30x are better values but not 100% of the time

@@MrSpock That's factually incorrect based on math. Unless EnP aren't telling the truth about the odds, it is a 100% certainty that doing a 30 pull is a far greater value than doing a single pull. Of course if you pull a 5* on a single pull it's gonna be awesome, because you're beating the odds but the point is to give yourself the best odds and the best odds are given to those doing 30 pulls when available.

Mr.Spock, the method does not work for event summons. The person gave the example of Atlantis because of the appearance rates, and event summons do not have the same appearance rates as atlantis although your luck have be pretty good with the chameleon! I tried my own method similar to this followed by 2 single pulls on atlantis and both pulls i got Rafaelle so it would be better to do these on atlantis

Interesting method and cool content mr. Spock. Gonna try this out in Christmas event. I just have one question. I am out of gems so what should be the plan when I cant afford 10x summon but only single summon for epic tokens? Should I do all those steps and repeat final one 2-3 times or only when I get event or 4+ star heroes?

Although true random isn't really possible there are methods to get as close as possible. One of the more interesting one is Lava Lamps. Look up "Lava Lamp Random Number Generator" if you're curious

Pulled 2 star troop, 1 star troop, 3 star troop in succession. Had no event pulls, so used gems, 3 star I already had. I may need to save more pulls for my next good luck streak. Lol

I'm a f2p, i tried this method recently but slightly different from what was mentioned, I kept summoning until i got ulmer which took 10 tokens then did 4 free summons i got jackal kashrek gormek and Sonya with Raffaele. But as im limited with resources i can't conclude if it's only luck or the method is true!

I did a daily double summon (i pay VIP) and got two 3 stars. I had gems for one summon, used it for the costume summon...i got Skittle plus Raffaelle. May be something to this rng trend, thing.

I use this method, obviously it doesn't work ALL the time but it does lower the amount you spend ( which is the point🙂) , i have every HOTM and some good event heroes since starting. This month I tested and got Raffaele with 300 gems... didn't bother with the 10x pull afterwards

I don't know about this superstitious pulls but I have a question on our chance of pulling hero of the month. Normally there is 1.3% chance to pull the hero of the month, but when we do 10x pull, does it mean it will be applied 10 times or only once? I ask this because the Hero of the Month only appears at the end of the pull (if it appears) and I never heard anyone getting more than 1 of them with 10x or even 30x.

Each individual summon (whether singles or of a 10x/30x) has a 1.3% chance. I’ve seen people get doubles and triples or more of the Hotm in 10x 👍🏻

I have no idea how this happened, but I got a 1* troop, then a 2* on my first two pulls. Then went to S3 pull and got Agnes + Noor. I then did a 10-pull and got Baldur! Got bupkis on the second pull, so I think the streak ended before that.

I was real down on Chameleon until I saw a better video on him. He can be incredible against titans I believe. I'd have to watch them again but I gained a lot of respect for the card. The method strangely has never let me down until recently and I kinda pushed it. But man, I know people argue strongly against it, but true RNGs are tough to make and there are like 12 people that are working in this incredible game. My cousin just pulled Inari costume using it for the first time. It's weird. I won't say those people are wrong but for some reason this works more than a strange belief in a language change or gambler's fallacy. So it's tough to say. I'd just say try it when you can and want to. But I wouldn't do it all or nothing.

Say what you will about luck or randomness and what not but I’ve pulled five 5 stars off this method on 15-20 EHT’s in past 6 months. Malicna, Seshat, Alfrike, Frigg, and Joon. 3 years of playing before that, 3 HOTM’s and one seasonal

Hey Mr. Spock... It's me again... You're one of the most ardent followers... I would like to take your advice on how to manage my defense team... I have the following give stars which I consider the strongest : A) Lady if the lake with seven emblems; B) Richard with two emblems; C) Sargasso with one emblem; D) Grazul with two emblems and; E) Keith at 75 level. Total Team power adds up to 4144 but then also lower team power manage to win against this defense team. Can you please advise how to manage this.... I have four stars Cyprian with 19 emblems, Rigard with 20 emblems, Proteus with 19 emblems, Grimm with 19 emblems, Sonya with 2 emblems, Wilbur with 4 emblems, Colen with 4 emblems and Li Xiu with 12 emblems.

The key is to do it as prescribed. By the records I have kept since I started my increase in getting 5* heroes has improved by almost 150 % . Not to say they have all been good by any standard. In my opinion it works.

I usually dont believe in such methods. But we all probably had those times where you pull like 10x and get jackshit. Then those other times where you pull a few and theyre all good. So it kinda makes sense to me that game might favor you sometimes to keep you interested. So ive also tried this. Pulled magni with an epic token. Then pulled rafaelle with 30 event coins. So two 5*s in 4 pulls. Id say thats pretty good. Imma try a 10x in next atlantis when drake is up

So, I am re watching this to have better odds for all valhalla coins I have saved till now and noticed the last 10 pull(3rd) was definitely no no. As per the instruction it says not more than 2 and results was worst too. Congrats on your recent Frigg pull. Can I know the logic or thing you followed :)

Very interesting video, although I can't participate in this interesting ritual since I dont spend :p, so the 10x is a no-go. Though I did have some major luck before having watched this video, during Guardians of Teltoc AND costume, I had 40 Challenge coins and would switch between a hero before pressing summon( as it happens, I got on Gazelle and got Gazelle, I was actually screaming! And later got Costumed Kadilen!)

I got Chameleon, Kong, and Gazelle on a 10 pull. My method is just pulling when you're vibrating at a super high frequency. Don't pull if you're scared, nervous, sick, or harboring ANY negative thoughts. Envision the hero that you want, and DON'T adhere to the percentages because you'll attract said %.

Mr. Spock my last big pulls is sand event. Than after that I’m only going to get the hotm from now on and that it. That’s y I don’t do pull videos anymore. I hv plenty of 5s to lvl. I think a yr from now I could still be lvling 5s if I stopped pulling completely.

Just tried this on the current event summon. Pulled Morgan Le Fay (5*), Lancelot (4*), Merlin (4*), and Sonya (4*). Glad I watched your video as I am a F2P player who has saved gems for quite some time. First 5* and some 4*'s that will definitely help me progress in the game. Thanks for the video. Will only be using this method from now on. Now to save a few more gems to do this during the Atlantis event next time.

Hmmm...not sure I count pulling Chameleon as being lucky lol. Then again you could have pulled an Owl like me...he was immediately thrown into my Closet of Misfit Heroes. Heck maybe in a few years they'll "re-balance" him and he'll be improved to Slow speed! Ha! 😉

@@MrSpock Yeah, I was REALLY hoping for Gazelle. I too, have resigned to the fact that I'm not spending anymore apart from PoV and VIP and maybe the odd cheap offer periodically. I'm done throwing cash at SG only to get garbage bag...my money can easily be better spent elsewhere, like real-life things. Plus, apart from the horrendous odds of getting anything decent I'm done supporting a company that ignores it's consumer-base in pursuit of squeezing every penny wherever it can.

Also posted this on Anchors RU-vid: I was trying this for a few days. Never got a chance to try it past step two. Today with the two daily bonus pulls, I got a one star hero then a two star troop and I gave it a shot. Used some of my free costume pull tokens, on the first pull I got a bane costume and HOTM! On 6 pulls got two four star costumes (Little John and Tiburtus) and HOTM Raffaele! Not text book but I felt with the two star troop. Then I did a ten pull and got three four stars (Melendor, Rigard and Sonya) plus another HOTM Raffaele! Wow! UPDATE 6/19 - daily free token a three star troop, a two star hero, one star troop. Felt good so tried 6 free legendary tavern pulls and got a Tiburtus. Did a ten pull and got a Perseus and Azlar 5 star. Not text book but if a get troops twice on free pulls, I have received five stars on ten pulls. Update 6/29/30: I have used my modified version of what is recommended and as long as I get a troops and or a three star in three tries. One star stop if first. Then try the event pulls, every time I have gotten a five star or HOTM. Suggest stopping after get a 5 star and not going over three pulls if nothing four star or event hero. I have four Raffaels due to this. Be patient!

I first want to start off by saying. Good quality video. Great content in general. But this is also how e&p discovers its holes and bugs in its algorithm of summons. As great as it is to find a trick that gives es us all what we want. Or just a greater chance In general pulling what we want/need. This video showed perfectly what they have to do to alter and destroy this said "method" I myself have used this method. Have had great luck from it. And also have been let down by this method. But in conclusion this should be shared with the community of e&p. But restricted from viewing of its developers. I.e. line app and Discord are great ways the community can share this info. And not have to worry about this method being struck down by the e&p demons. Again. Great video and content. But could cost the community the method and your time making a video that will not help anyone or recieve as many views as other videos will. I also know there's a bunch of you going to disagree with this. Your wallet will not lmfao

Thanks for the compliment and fair points made. My video only came out after a few others had shared this method, so that can of worms was already opened and widely exposed. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything real to this method except that it *feels* believable. As far as I know, daily hero summons (1*-3* portal) take place locally on the device while all the other portals are routed through the SG servers. All that is to say that these appear to be completely independent events don’t have some sort of shared RNG kernel or something.

Agreed lol. Not the first. Nor the last I'm sure. Just happen to be first one recommended to me lol. And also agree that its probably ly something that is more coincidental to doing all that and getting 1 5* and honestly the only time I can say it worked for me. I recieved 4 5* heros. 2 of which was a double bonus draw on Clarissa. The rest of which was exactly like yours. 1 5* hero. Not really alot to call a guarantee. But enough for me to keep doing this trick lol. Since the double bonus draw I've only recieved 1 5* hero in 200+ pulls since then. With over 100 since my last 5. 80% of those pulls were done with this trick. Before running out of free tokens

2x 10 pulls should be a big enough sample size, a 30 pull or more should yield a 5* regardless. When trying to prove this method effective, it has to be a smaller sample size.

2 10x is just a sample size of 2 for this method since the unit is a 10x. And a sample size of 2 is tiny. Nothing can be definitively proved with a small sample size. More data is the only way to achieve more certainty 👌🏻

A 30 x pull doesn't guarantee anything. My biggest disaster was last Christmas, almost 60, no 5*s. I think that's why you're supposed to "stop" after 20. You can have a lasting bad luck streak and like a gambler keep thinking "my luck will change one day"...

So , I kept trying this method over and over. Unfortunately I ran out of silver coins b4 I could even get all the pieces to work. But there was something else written at the bottom. That talked about other lucky anomalies to look for. Like getting extra pulls from something like mystic vision. Anyway I got an epic hero token with a regular monster chest. And my monster chest never have anything good in them. I wouldn’t even waste my time on them if it weren’t for working towards the elemental chest. So I was thinking. Well that’s pretty lucky. So I did a 10 pull and got panther on the 10th pull. Witch was awesome Because she was my number 1 desired from the bunch. Then I decided to c how long this luck would last. I did another 10. Number 9&10 were GC & GK. Then I was was like holy shit. Statistically it should take 300 pulls to get 3 event 5* heroes. So I did one more 10 and got Magni. Decided to do one more got. Nothing. Anyway based on all the different videos I’ve seen. It does appear that the RNG does get hot streaks. Even a slot machine in a casino gets hot every now and then. I’ll will definitely be testing this method out more in the future though.

I think you actually did not follow the instructions 100% for your first series of pulls 4* s1 means you are supposed to do another 1 pull instead of 10pull according to the instructions. But it worked for you anyway so who cares :). Grats on the pulls

S1 4* means “your luck is neutral” and you can do your pull or repeat the process. But this whole process is just 1 guys approximations so you can give too much validity to all the details of it

Well, the casual pull voodoo. Next time try my method: Get naked, ring your neighbour's doorbell four times, then dance for two minutes with at least five bananas on your head. Be careful that they stay in place during your dance off. Then slap him/her in the face - guaranteed 5* hero in 10 x 10 pulls!
