This feels like it's written by an English teacher that's reading into every little thing and make things up when it has literally no relation to the source material
Lol every English Lit class ever. Poet: Thus I cover myself in oil English teacher: So what does this mean? Well he is feeling upset, his father left when he was 10. He is concerned about our reliance on fossil fuels.
@@gregorywullaert8618 That wasn't the point. Most of these were completely unrelated things that they seemed to throw together to make new content. There's plenty of real foreshadowing in Star Wars, but this video covers nothing applicable in that regard.
This guy doesn’t know what foreshadowing means. I tried to give ScreenRant another chance because they gave us Ryan who gave us Pitch Meetings. Never again.
@@toobasicbot2000 When Anakin said it, that was in The Phantom Menace which was a Fox film that was written and directed by George Lucas himself. No Disney involvement.
@@toobasicbot2000 Also George Lucas would call them laser swords ALL the time in interviews. There are videos on RU-vid that are just supercuts of him saying that; look it up. That's also the reason they had Luke call it a laser swords; they were directly referencing Lucas
That's cuz George Lucas hates calling them light sabers. It was never his choice to call them that. Laser Sword is completely cannon since Anakin and George call them that.
The biggest foreshadowing was when Obi-Wan and Anakin had that lightsaber battle in Episode III, they wasted all their energy for the Episode IV “Fight” 😆
Lachlan Lewis True, even the battle in the Phantom Menace was better. Lachlan, watch, if you haven’t already, Star Wars SC 38 reimagined, it’s an epic version of a new hopes one.
Kdunn109 true it does have 2 suns but think about it for a second if the sun sets in the west the sun rises in the East. It can’t set in the west and rise in the west.
Exactly my thought. Not only that, but it seems the season he was dropped off with Owen and Beru, was the same season that he left years later, otherwise the orientation of the suns in relation to each other would be different. There should be at least twice a year that one sun would obscure the other, appearing as one. Lol, the great conjunction to steal a term from Jim Henson.
2 other "foreshadows" that you had missed in there were: -1: right after Anakin kills Dooku, he leads Palpatine (The Emperor) and goes to save obi wan. Palpatine says to leave him and Anakin told him no, his fate will be the same as ours. Its foreshadowing because they all end up dying with one of the Deathstars. -2: this one probly isn't a direct foreshadow, considering the line falls in Return Of The Jedi, but Darth Vader says to Luke that Obi Wan has taught you well, while Luke up higher than Vader, implying the making of the "I have the high ground" line/scene.
Actual foreshadowing In the scene where anakin kills the count before the fight when he says that his powers have doubled the count says twice the pride double the fall That foreshadows the mustafar fight when anakin is overconfident and tries to jump over obi-wan gets sliced to bits and proceeds to fall to the ground and further to the dark side
Mr. Llama it was actually Palpatine transferring the life force of Padme to Anakin. The movie didn’t do a good job of portraying it but that’s what happened
Dying of a broken heart is (sort of anyway) a thing, tends to usually be when one of a couple die and the other dies soon after without much explanation. If padme dies of a broken heart due to anakin 'dying' and becoming Vader completely, then it would make some bit of sense. Palpatine draining her life force is a possible explanation too definitely, but A - if this is the case, then the movie doesn't explain this well at all, and B - surely palpatine would need to be physically somewhat near padme to do this? The connection between kylo and Rey is the only time in any of the movies that I can think of in which the force can act 'remotely' and that's only because they established their connection in person first
In the phantom menace, the overshadowing moment is when Anakin says to Qui Gong Jin : No one can kill a Jedi. And Qui Gong Jin reply by : I wish that was so.... and we all know what happens next....
Why do people keep commenting this? Tatooine doesnt have to rotate on an axis. And if it does rotate on an axis, it's possible for the rotation on an axis to be changed
Matthew Wagner the fact that there’s a sun rise and sunset means that it most likely does spin on an axis and there’s never been anything said about the spin direction changing
7:00 that shadow from attack of the clones was an accident They noticed it looked like Vader in post-production so they decided to zoom in and go with it
Anakin breathing in episode 1 foreshadows he will have trouble in episode 4. And and and... by filming a movie, they foreshadowed that the next movie would also be made with a camera.
How bout in Attack of the Clones when Anakin says to Padme "I will even learn to stop people from dying" and in Revenge of the Sith when Palpatine tells him about Darth Plagueis he says "He could even keep the ones he cared about from dying" ? He was in his head the whole time.
*Warning* _Rise of Skywalker spoilers ahead_ Have you realised something? In Return of the Jedi the Emperor tells Luke to kill Vader - a Skywalker - so he wants to kill a Skywalker. In The Rise of Skywalker the Emperor tries to kill Ben Solo - a Skywalker. Im Revenge of the Sith The Emperor tells Anakin to kill Dooku - a Skywalker???? This is just a theory.
You know. With Anakin showing up in ep9 speaking to Rey. The line "I want to see them all" takes on a whole new meaning. Kylo spent ep7 and 8 talking to vaders helmet. Anakin literally was in all 9 episodes somehow. He saw them all.
@@pizzawonderer5024 i think you are misunderstanding the question, so I'll reword it. How can both suns rise and set in the (lets say) eastern sky? How can a person stand in the exact same spot, facing the exact same direction and be looking dead on at both a sun rise and a sun set?
Last shot of RotS cant be a sunrise. Its the same exact spot as the binary sunset in ANH. Sunrose would happen behind them with the right sum higher at sunrise
Here’s some juicy foreshadowing for u. In phantom menace when anakin was eating with qui gon and that lot. Anakin asked qui gon jinn that he has a lightsaber and qui gon said he probably killed a Jedi for it and then anakin said Jedi can’t die and qui gon said i wish that was true and later in the film qui gon dies. More foreshadowing. Anakin was talking to the council about becoming a Jedi and yoda brought up fear and said that fear makes people go to the dark side and it was the fear of losing Padme that actually made anakin snap.
Palpy in originals: Fulfill your destiny! Palpy in prequels: Dew it! I saw Anakin’s shadow on Tattooine twice too. And when Obi-Wan left him on a mission, he left him in the darkness of confusion and I really wished they discussed certain things more, like Anakin’s marriage, and that Palpy promised him saving Padme’s life - they could have gone after Palpy together.
The bit I really like which shows well the duality of Anakin's character and inner struggle during Revenge of the Sith is how his opinion changes depending on his vantage point in the situation. In the beginning when Dooku was at his mercy and he knew it's not the Jedi way to kill, Palpatine managed to easily convince him to kill the enemy. However, later in the film, when Palpatine was at Mace Windu's mercy, Anakin was all on his high horse and claiming it's not the Jedi way to kill.
