I love that you said cooking is harder for blind people, but we still do it, so things like pressure cookers can be really helpful. So many people assume that blind people don’t cook at all, but in reality we are like everyone so some of us love cooking and some of us hate it. I actually found this video because I’m trying to figure out whether the instant pot is blind friendly, so I think I’ll go get one and do a review on my channel thanks to this video.
Yeah I think it depends on the person and if they have a system to help aid like bump dots or using a magnifier. I know that I am not a huge fan of cooking regardless of my vision. :)
Thank you so much for these! My grandma has been battling with eye issues most of her life now she lsot her sight completly. I love her very much, she raised me when my parents couldn't, and since then ive been trying to make her feel happy and accomodated for, but she's taking it very hard. I always make sure to describe evrything to her in detail and to help her get her confidnce back, and this year for christmas i want to give her something that will show her that there's still so many things in life to enjoy. I'm trying to get her a book reader because she loved reading, and i want to get her things that will help her feel more indepented or make gifts that are more based on touch.
