As a person who mainly play single player games, yes I might not have played enough online games to have a proper opinion but I'll fight people over this anyway, no online-co-op bullshit will ever have a good story compaired to a well worked single player game. Most games these days are like "play with your friends and discover this new world" when in the the end it's always the same thing, no proper story, just you and some other people just endlessly killing npc's in a braindead game with no story what so ever
Wish there was a Mad Max 2 game that was basically the first game in visuals and melee and car combat mechanics but in a procedurally generated landscape you traveled through constantly always pushing forward to scavenge food and fuel and ammo and car parts and that your car is what you worry about upkeep on. No friggin building a shack and chopping trees and mining rocks boringness. You drive and drive and get ambushed and have to get into car combat encounters on the road or you stop at some abandoned outpost and scavenge it and have to melee fight off some weirdos hiding in the basement and then you find a bit of fuel and water and drive on hoping you make it to another stop before you run out and die. Basically seeing how far you can get. Mad Max: Open Road
I hope Forever Winter can live up to the hype, if it lives up to its marketing along with its relatively tiny dev team that would be astounding. Hell, if it just does as well as Tarkov that would be something.
I strongly feel that the Atomfall people are thinking "hey, since Bethesda is determined to make nothing but garbage, let's make a good Fallout." I hope they succeed and Bethesda becomes a company that used to make games. I guess the Gears of War bad guys have become . . . muggers?
I gave the video a thumb down because the thumbnail made me believe that there's a mad max 2 game coming. Mad Max is my favourite game of all time. I wish Warner Brothers gave the licence to a developer who could make a mad max 2 but not completely change it from the fury road formula. The game needed the possibility to build your own base / camp , more upgradeable cars and the use of the full map. They had about 25% - 50% of the map unused under the huge sand storm. The game could have been huge if they used all of the map. Plus I'd love to be able to switch from first person view to third person view optionally Imagine having 4 wheel drives , big rigs and motor bikes as upgradeable vehicles in a mad max game
Nice Video. Found a few new games i hadn't on my radar yet. Would you kindly add some tags to the games you are presenting like Single Player, PvE, PvP, Coop, etc.? Or at least talk about it if it's an mulitplayer or single player experience. Is it always online? And the platforms the games will be on. Thanks so far for your effort.
i thought the thumbnail was for a "Furiosa" game... but i like these type of games specially 3rd person shooters like RE, TLOU, Max Payne, etc. i am particularly excited for Showa America story, State of decay 3, Gear of war: E-day, Into the dead darkest days, John Carpenters : Toxic commando, and The foreever Winter
in terms of gears of war im confused, 1 to 3 are kind of locked because only console players and those who got the first game for pc have the thing, 4 and 5 left a big cliffhanger waiting for the 6, and the gears oddly at least to me took to the prequel route like doom and metro (altho im not sad metro dosnt get a next game after exodus timeline wise given the original protagonist met his happy end he deserved) Honestly id prefer if gears of war did like Halos master chief collection and packaged all the goodies together, probably even naming it gears of war Trilogy or something but i still belive 1 to 3 to be the best gears games.
Sand looks interesting. Metro 4 looks like more of the same and its getting old now. State of decay 3 ..more of the same shit. STALKER 2 (the sequel to one of my favourite games of all time) looks like ...more Metro.
I hate to blackpill here, but why do half of these games look mobile? Why is it with the exception of a handful of games like "finished" Cyberpunk 2077, does everything look like it could easily run on last gen "pro" consoles? Were in the hell is the "Next Gen" games, and why is Sony coming out with next gen +.0005, when there are no damn games that will properly utilize it?🥱🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️
