Bonjour Kseny Super beautiful wonderful great just that you are a very good teacher oh hhh I feel lighter in all my joints and I REALLY TALK ABOUT YOUR PRACTICE TO ALL MY FRIENDS merci beaucoup thanks a lot
Thank you for sharing this video. I am recovering from having a tumor removed from my ear. Have always wanted to learn the 8 brocade. Most of the videos that I have seen don’t include audio instructions. This was very helpful.
WOW!! I have some brain injury from COVID19 and cannot stand up for very long. I have spent a week looking for a form of QiGong that I could do. Wonderfull! Exactly what I need!! Thanks so much and I wish more people would watch and subscribe as you are a gift.
me too David - although my head/brain injury is from 3 accidents - one early this year and all the tendons in my knee are ripped - -- i can't do the Tai Chi i normally do - so i started this - My doctor says this is a fantastic practice for folks with head injury effect - if you have any troubles with balance focus on one spot and gently move your head - it will help heal that part of the brain - i've had adjustments for this many times - but often i have been on my own for fixing it myself. Good health to you !
My very active wife recently(1 week ago) fractured her hip and femur and had to have surgery. This routine is perfect for her. Before her accident we would usually do one of your RU-vid Qigong sessions daily. This is just what she needed to keep moving. You’re an angel. 😇 Thank you. 🙏
Thank you! I was thinking of doing this for someone's mom and this is exactly what I was looking for! I've been doing qigong for 11 years, and sometimes do it in a chair or even on my bike or when walking, I just love the moves and it gives me something to do and think about as I do things, that way my mind is as mindful on wellness, recovery and healing as possible so my mind doesn't fall into stressful loops. LOVE that you're doing this outside in nature!!! Double the healing.
Hi, thank you so much for your thoughtful message! I love that you incorporate Qigong into so many aspects of your life-whether sitting, biking, or walking. It’s such a beautiful way to keep your mind focused on wellness and healing, even in the midst of daily activities. And practicing outside in nature truly does add an extra layer of peace and connection. I’m glad this resonated with you, and I hope it brings the same calm and healing to your friend’s mom. 🌿💖🙏
OH. MY. Gosh! This was amazing! I am 65 yrs young with very bad arthritic knees (since childhood) which makes most standing exercises impossible without pain. I just happened to come across this one and after going through this routine just now, I feel so invigorated! I also feel those endorphins kicking in!! Thank you, THANK YOU, Kseny for this seated Qigong Routine. I am going to do this every day. I have tried other seated exercises, but most are too fast, LOL. I do my upper cardio too, but this one, again, is so wonderful for boosting my physical and mental well-being. Best to all here, if anyone reads this after many years. :) xx
I am so glad I found your channel. I am partially paralyzed but can stand for short periods of time that are becoming longer periods of time by following your videos. I am currently on a mission to challenge a ton of friends that are inactive to do this video every day for a week and see how they feel afterwards. This is the absolute perfect video to get people to start qigong and moving around more. Thank you,
thank you Kseny. I was ot feeling up to my usual energy today but still wanted to practice Qigong and this practice was perfect. I feel more grounded but full of energy and my mood has improved. thanks again
Hi there, many thanks for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed it and find it beneficial. I agree, 8 pieces of brocade is a wonderful sequence in any variation. What was your favourite exercise? Best wishes,
lovely, it is very simple and doesn't put so much stress on the body, I have done Qigong easy sitting before but seemed to cause issues with my body, this will be my go to to start my mornings thank you!
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this! I'm only 27yo but I am chronically ill and have been experimenting with following seated qigong or seated tai chi videos each day. This sequence made me feel really energized and didn't trigger any symptoms for me :) I plan to keep following it & looking more into your page! Thank you!
Hi, thank you for sharing. I'm glad the video was helpful and you felt good in your body. there are a few seated breathing sessions that you can incorporate into your daily practice. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IqCpFYrcK1M.html
Hello Kseny, I love your work. I have a dear friend who has been in hospital for many months. Can you share a gentle routine he can do from a hospital bed in order for him to start rebuilding strength and confidence in movement. Thank you
Hi there, thank you for your message. I hope you friend is doing better and recover soon! That's a very good point, I believe I haven't done a laying down qigong routine yet, something to do for the future. In the meantime, he can do breathing exercises to support the immunity and get fresh energy into the body. Also joint rotation and mobility exercises are important to maintain a healthy circulation. Simple ankle rotation, knees, hips etc.
Thank you for this Kseny, just what I was looking for. I love qi gong and practise daily and my elderly Mum, living with dementia, loves to watch so I have been doing little exercises with her and she loves them. I will introduce this slowly and I know it will do her so much good. She loves doing her tummy breathing and she is so much calmer.
Hi Suzie, thank you for taking the time to write. I'm glad to hear that you can share these precious moments with your mum and you both feel the benefits. There is another seated video, that is actually an extract from a Zoom live class that you and your mum can enjoy. 🙏ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CQVOKyHVTBA.html
This was really wonderful - thankyou - i've been doing physiotherapy for post concussion syndrome., but my body hurts everywhere and i needed something to help with the stress - and needed to b e sitting - This was really great.
Hi Harris, thank you for taking your time to comment. I'm glad you enjoyed this routine and felt good. I have another seated routine for the lower body here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZFIE1qzWNRA.html OR a very gentle one that covers the whole body ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JKf-NLVh1i0.html Let me know how it goes for you. Thank you.
I’ll have to try some of this. I had my second spinal fusion and can’t bend twist or lift for 3 months. And after the 3 months I still can’t do too much for 2 yrs until it heals completely.
Hi, qigong exercises can be restorative however I would recommend consulting with your doctor prior the training. As always, remember to go easy and do no harm.
I am brand new to Qigong and to your channel. How would you adapt the overhead arm movements for someone with limited range of motion in their shoulder?
Hi Sarah, thank you so much for joining.I'm very glad you are enjoying the routines and feel good. I'd say always listen to your body, and raise your arms to a point that feels comfortable even if it means chest height. through regular practice you'll notice the increased range of motion. I hope this helps. Best wishes,
