New Vegas was my first dive into the Fallout universe. I've been obsessed with it ever since and still chasing that high of playing it for the first time.
@@itslit5232 it’s easily one of the best story telling rpgs in existence. It’s a little dated now, the graphics aren’t great, and it doesn’t run the best on consoles. The gunplay is still fun and you can make some cool builds.
@@senidalamsunyi8300 Yes, there's a mod on Nexus called Dead Money Stealth Fix which fixes the bug. However the fix doesn't apply to all ghost people because some use an actor base which locks their perception at five.
@@tacticalpossum7090 "largely worked" Bruh NV has worse problems with workablity than the notoriously bad programmed FO4 Boston city area. Without mod patches i was literally breaking left, right and center. Its has brilliant storytelling made by passionate writers, exceptional replayability and visual world building like almost no other. But NV was a freaking mess, which is understandable since it was done in 18 months, but still, we should stop lying to ourselves. The game is brilliant in its content and absolutely dogshit when it comes to stability.
At this point I’ve seen a decade’s worth of “Things you didn’t know about NV” RU-vid videos but I’ll still watch every new one that comes out. It’s a good game.
Never got Ezekiel saying the Khans had a "tragic history". They were murderous thugs who kidnapped Tandi in Fallout 1 and killing and enslaving people in Fallout 2. The Khans have a history of doing dumb things and getting smacked around for it, a trend that continues into NV with them attacking New Vegas before getting smacked down by House and the Families then attacking NCR caravans including using women and children for target practice but then getting beat down by the NCR even if Bitter Springs was legit tragic.
Man I love this game. The more time passes the more I like it and wish I could erase my memory and play it again... Thank you for your videos, they're super great!
I will forever love fallout . The feelings i get when i hear the music or see a new video posted about it is next to nothing I’ve felt from any other game . Thank you fallout for everything.
Man the first time I played fallout NV I fell in love with it. Its one of those games where there is a lot to do in the game but you still wish there was more. Easily one the best games of all time.
The all roads comic is good. I wish they did others in that style to add to the lore. The collectors edition also came with a nice box with playing cards, a platinum chip and a awesome behind the scene DVD of making of the game. I lost the cards and chips but still have the comic and DVD luckily from release.
If you enter the legates camp early (it took me several hours of reload dashing over invisible walls and forced loading zones that teleport you back to the dam, but its possible on console for sure, trial and error) You are surrounded by non hostile legion and you have the option to do some covert spy shit to the mongrel cage, but no one will talk to you and you cannot enter the legates tent, the only way to leave is to fast travel, and im not 100% sure but i think you can kill everyone at the camp without effecting ur reputation with any factions or karma
the child at heart perk wasn't unfinished in new vegas, rather the dev team thought there weren't enough interactions with children to make it worth it
Also! Although I don’t know this for sure, I believe Dr. Mobius is a reference to the 1962 German play “The Physicists” about a group of people in an insane asylum who believe they are famous physicists (Einstein, Newton, and one, Möbius, who believes he is in communication with King Solomon)
6:53 The comic plot and the art is kind of meh if you don't know anything form New Vegas but when you tie it to the game it is an awesome prologue, so to speak
Dont you think, that cutted quest with NCR rangers lost in mountains is a reference to Dyatlov's pereval, misterious disappearence of group of tourists in Russia?
2:16 That looks like Ulysses when you first find him inside the missile silo, in front of an American flag with his back turned towards you. Also when Mobius offers you a Mentat for the first time, there will be additional dialogue options if you're already under the effects of chems or alcohol.
When the Courier is a bit dumb, pays short and blinks with a questionmark on his face its all fine and dandy but when i do it i "try to scam the lady" and im "not allowed anymore in the establishment" double standards SMH
